RE: Visiting the zoo during a pandemic | Exploring Gembira Loka Zoo

In order to enter the zoo, the visitor must download the contact tracing and vaccination app called Peduli Lindungi. Through this app, the system will notice our vaccination status and only those with at least one dose can enter the zoo or a visitor must provide a PCR test to enter the complex.

I would recommend a PCR test to everyone in this case. Rather this than taking the experimental vaccines.

Sort:

There are only a specific place where PCR test allowed and that too with extra complication. I just learned that in this country PCR test is more expensive than any other countries. The costs starts from 72$ in the past and when I am was researching about it last night, in some cities, the price is still the same. So, yeah PCR test isn't the answer where I live unless someone is willing to spend 72$/test and a few times a week just to enter some places.

But the general rule even at shopping malls, stores, and restaurant any public here is one has to get the app to enter it. It's not practical but it's how the new normal here. To me, vaccination and these things are two separate matter. It's interesting how I watched an American youtuber mentioned that the third world countries won't do stuff like this as they won't have resources but it's not how it works where I live. People are more socialistic and easier to comply. Though the app is quite shitty, they just go with it because " that's just the rule." pretty sad honestly.
