¿Dónde estaré de aquí en 5 años?
El futuro es tan incierto, que así como podría acertar, también podría equivocarme.
No soy adivina ni nada de eso, pero estoy segura que en 5 años, recordaré esta publicación y me reire de mí misma.
Es mi deseo poder estar nuevamente viviendo en Venezuela, en una Venezuela libre y soberana, donde mis hijos puedan crecer cerca de sus abuelos, tíos y amigos. Un país donde no haya temor de alzar la voz y pensar diferente, donde no te quiten la vida por pensar distinto y exista la verdadera libertad de expresión.

Where will I be from here in 5 years?
The future is so uncertain, that just as I could get it right, I could also get it wrong.
I am not a fortune teller or anything, but I am sure that in 5 years, I will remember this publication and laugh at myself.
It is my wish to be able to live again in Venezuela, in a free and sovereign Venezuela, where my children can grow up close to their grandparents, uncles and friends. A country where there is no fear of raising your voice and thinking differently, where your life is not taken away for thinking differently and where there is true freedom of expression.
De aquí a 5 años y si Dios aún me presta vida, me veo estando con mi familia, preparando algún alimento rico junto a mi esposo, mientras Amelie ve un video, Ammy ayuda en la cocina y Joaquín seguramente se entretiene con sus juguetes.
De aquí a 5 años, espero haber logrado escribir y publicar mi libro "Simplemente Eli", no para ser famosa, si no para demostrar a otros a través de mi historia que sí se puede.
Sobretodo, de aquí a 5 años, me veo más vieja de edad pero igual de joven de espíritu, con más canas, símbolo de madurez y unas cuantas arrugas de tanto reír, me veo de 38años, muy bien vividos.
Five years from now and if God still lends me life, I see myself being with my family, preparing some tasty food with my husband, while Amelie watches a video, Ammy helps in the kitchen and Joaquin surely entertains himself with his toys.
In five years' time, I hope to have succeeded in writing and publishing my book "Simplemente Eli", not to be famous, but to show others through my story that you can.
But above all, in 5 years, I will look older but just as young in spirit, with more grey hair, symbol of maturity and a few wrinkles from so much laughter, I will be 38 years old, very well lived.
