Saludos hivers, me complace poder parcipar en la iniciativa de @eddiespino, me gustan mucho las antiguedades, aunque quizá más a mi esposo, de vez en cuando veo artículos de principio del siglo xx como esos teléfonos y los relojes de péndulo en venta en tiendas de antigüedades, pero son muy costosos y creo que exageran con los precios.
Sin embargo, en mi casa tengo tres objetos que son muy antiguos y que catalogo como reliquias, aquí se las muestro:

However, in my house I have three objects that are very old and that I catalog as relics, here I show them:
Mancuernas o gemelos para camisas
Pertenecieron a mi padre y son un tesoro par mí, él las uso el día de su boda con mi mamá en 1968, pero ya las había comprado cinco años antes, es decir que estas mancuernas son de 1963. Las conservo como una reliquia y un recuerdo de mi papá que tanto amo y extraño.
Cufflinks: They belonged to my father and they are a treasure for me, he used them on his wedding day with my mother in 1968, but he had already bought them five years before, that is, these dumbbells are from 1963. I keep them as an heirloom and a I remember my dad that I love and miss so much.
Toca disco
Este objeto es de mi esposo, lo tenemos en la sala de mi casa y de vez en cuando escuchamos discos de acetato, mi esposo es amante de la música retro, principalmente la de los años cincuenta y sesenta. Los domingos nos deleitamos escuchando algunos de los discos viejos, y me encanta ver como se coloca la aguja sobre el disco produciendo ese típico sonido que produce la aguja sobre el acetato. este tocadisco es marca Akai y mi esposo lo ama, siempre lo está limpiando.
Turntable: This object belongs to my husband, we have it in my living room and from time to time we listen to acetate records, my husband is a lover of retro music, mainly that of the fifties and sixties. On Sundays we delight in listening to some of the old records, and I love to see how the needle is placed on the record producing that typical sound that the needle produces on the acetate. this turntable is Akai brand and my husband loves it, he is always cleaning it.
Regla de cálculo
También es de mi esposo, la verdad que yo no sabía lo que era eso y la primera vez que las vi fue cuando él me la mostró, cuando yo estudié en la universidad la carrera de ingeniería, por allá a mediados de los ochenta, ya usábamos calculadoras, pero mi esposo, quien era mi pareja entonces, heredó una de esas reglas de cálculo de uno de sus tíos y se llegaron a usar en la época de los años cuarenta, incluso parece que mucho antes, la verdad es que yo nunca las aprendí a usar. Mi esposo tiene tres de estos instrumentos que de alguna manera eran las calculadoras de años pasados. También heredó un maletín muy viejo que aún conservamos.
Esos son los objetos antiguos o reliquias que tengo en mi casa, pero creo que si llega la oportunidad me compraría un reloj de péndulo que es lo más me gusta, y muy probablemente mi esposo compraría otras cosas de décadas pasadas.

Those are the old objects or relics that I have in my house, but I think that if the opportunity arises, I would buy a pendulum clock which is what I like the most, and most likely my husband would buy other things from decades past.
