We knew that Lt. Chuck Smith has Eldritch scars, and on the previous page we saw that Rosie did as well. Now we see that something has been done to Harvey, specifically along his spinal cord.
My hope was for us to be able to very visually differentiate which Saxton had experimented on our main characters. I wanted Rosie's scars to be more patchwork, sloppy, from the mind of a crazed would-be artist. With Harvey's scars I wanted to convey something more precise, more medical. A man trying to perform an experiment, not perform a ritual.
