Introduction to this weeks page

I have known how this page should look for quite a while, and maybe for that reason I have had a hard time making it. Only yesterday morning did I get into it and I have been drawing since then, up till now being in doubt if I would make the self-induced Thursday deadline - but here we are. Yesterday I got the Gwendolyn facial expression in place which was the great obstacle. I solved it by taking some inspiration from François Bourgeon and his wonderful comic, Les Passagers du vent whose lead character Isa has some similarities with Gwendolyn. So today was monster day. As you can see on the last frame there's both the Bwbach from page 69 and 70 and the Tylwyth Teg - The fair folk - from page 98. There's a lot of other strange apparitions, some of which is founded in Celtic lore or art, and some that are solely founded in my imagination.

I will write about them next Thursday.

Happy reading!

Whenever I get a chance I always enjoy your cartoons, but also the art on your blog.
I like creative commons - using it myself on everything I upload to Flickr, excluding commercial usage, but otherwise everything of mine is free to use.

Some great expressions there and I see you have pulling in various creatures that we have seen hints of in your various other work.
