¡Saludos comunidad de La radio! Este es mi primer post en La radio y vengo con una historia un tanto curiosa, esta me ocurrió en el año 2014 durante unas vacaciones en el municipio Falcón, Venezuela. Es mi entrada a la iniciativa creado por @tarot911 Y luego invito a mi amiga @andrearojas55 a participar.
Greetings La radio community! This is my first post on La radio and I come with a somewhat curious story, it happened to me in 2014 during a vacation in the municipality Falcón, Venezuela. It's my entry to the initiative created by @tarot911 And then I invite my friend @andrearojas55 to participate
Me encontraba en el pueblo Adícora la famosa sede de windsurft de Venezuela, de la península de Paraguaná parte del municipio Falcón. Eran los meses de verano y me sucedió esta curiosa anécdota y aprendí a tomar en corazón, los consejos de la tercera edad y las leyendas locales.
I was in the town Adícora the famous windsurft headquarters of Venezuela, in the peninsula of Paraguaná part of the Falcón municipality. It was the summer months, and this curious anecdote happened to me, and learn to take to heart the advice of the elderly and the local legends.

My encounter with a Siren | Mi encuentro con una Sirena
La historia comienza con el oficio que desempeñe a destajos durante mi estadía en el pueblo de Adícora, el oficio de pescador. Cuando comencé varios pescadores veteranos del área me dijeron las Normas con mucha insistencia y me hablaron de criaturas en las aguas que se asomaban en las noches, por supuesto yo no les creí.
The story begins with the job I did on a piecework basis during my stay in the town of Adícora, the job of fisherman. When I started several veteran fishermen in the area told me the Rules with great insistence and told me about creatures in the waters that appeared at night, of course, I did not believe them.
Yo siendo muchacho, terco y estúpido, escuche muy superficialmente lo dicho y por eso mismo solo recuerdo las dos ideas principales: -No le robes la pesca a nadie y no vayas a pescar antes de las 3:50 am. Esta última vino acompañada de la siguiente frase, - Si ves algo raro, salte del agua corriendo con todas tus fuerzas.
Being a stubborn and stupid boy, I listened very superficially to what was said and for that reason I only remember the two main ideas: -Don't steal anyone's catch and don't go fishing before 3:50 am. The latter was accompanied by the following phrase, -If you see something strange, jump out of the water running with all your might.

Por ende como todo buen joven que se cree invencible, fui a pescar a exactamente las 2.50 am para desafiar las leyendas, lo recuerdo bien puesto que pase días lamentando dicha decisión.
So like any good young man who thinks he is invincible, I went fishing at exactly 2.50 am to defy the legends, I remember it well since I spent days lamenting that decision.
Alrededor de las 3.20 am me invadió un mal presentimiento, me sentía observado y aún no había ningún otro pescador en la playa este, me encontraba solo y a mis adentros me intentaba convencer Acá solo estoy yo y el agua, son ideas mías o eso me decía a mí mismo.
Around 3:20 a.m. a bad feeling came over me, I felt that I was, being watched and there was still no other fisherman on the east beach, I was alone, and I was trying to convince myself It's just me and the water here, these are my ideas or so I told myself.

Al mirar el agua a mi rededor lo pude ver, una profunda y obscura mirada a mi derecha, a unos 40-50 metros de distancia en inicio; si bien no podía ver más que el contorno y el brillo de la luna reflejado en sus ojos no logro olvidar el cómo brillaba debajo del agua esa mirada, pero en ese instante no sentí miedo, sentía que esa mirada no era hostil.
As I looked at the water around me, I could see it, a deep and dark look to my right, about 40-50 meters away at the beginning; although I could not see more than the outline and the brightness of the moon reflected in his eyes. I can not forget how that look shone underwater, but at that moment I did not feel fear, I felt that this look was not hostile.
Tras fijar mi mirada en ese par de ojos por un momento, continúe en el trabajo pescando manta raya poco a poco con red, tampoco era muy inteligente de mi parte, pronto pude escuchar a un pescador veterano acercarse a mí a eso de las 4 am, que me dijo -Haga caso joven para que llegue a viejo, ¿Viste algo? Y yo jamás le respondí.
After fixing my gaze on that pair of eyes for a moment, I continued at work fishing manta ray little by little with a net. It was not very smart of me either, soon I could hear a veteran fisherman approaching me at about 4 am, who said to me -Hear young to get old, did you see anything? And I never answered him.

Luego de esa experiencia decidí no contar nada a nadie y no pasar vergüenza por terco, pero al día siguiente no tarde mucho en repetir el mismo error pero en otra forma. Esta vez no fui a pescar, solo fui a pasear en la playa de noche, a sentarme en el borde de piedra del faro…

Lo cual llevo a otro momento extraño en mi vida, pronto me di cuenta de que me sentía observado, al buscar en mis cercanías pude ver la misma mirada en agua y esta vez entramos en un concurso de Quien aguanta más sin parpadear que duro hasta el amanecer, sentía una intranquilidad enorme pero sin presión ni hostilidad, sin embargo tenía la total seguridad en que si le daba la espalda esta mirada me atacaría de una forma u otra.
This led to another strange moment in my life, I soon realized that I was being watched. As I looked around I could see the same look in the water and this time we entered into a contest of Who can last the longest without blinking that lasted until dawn, I felt a huge uneasiness but without pressure or hostility, however, I was completely sure that if I turned my back this look would attack me in one way or another.
Luego de eso siguieron mis vacaciones, me retire a la ciudad de Coro y deje detrás de mí ese hermoso faro y mi encuentro entre dos mundos, una experiencia que jamás olvidare y me dejo una gran lección: escucha consejo de los mayores, las leyendas tienen razón de ser.
After that my vacation continued, I retired to the city of Coro and left behind me that beautiful lighthouse and my encounter between two worlds, an experience that I will never forget and left me a great lesson: listen to the advice of the elders, legends have a reason to be.

Créeme, me dio algo de temor leer tu publicación, por la forma en que la narras, muy real y sentida. Me quedo con la duda de, ¿como puedes saber que era una sirena? Y como no haces referencia a ella dentro del escrito, mas misterioso se torna. Excelente publicación mi amigo. Saludos.
Ese es el verdadero propósito del suspenso, ¿Como saben que fue lo que vi? ¿Como sabia yo?
