El amor por los animales es el arma más poderosa que tenemos, los seres humanos que cuidan regularmente de animales desarrollan un mejor control de los impulsos, habilidades sociales y autoestima.

Greetings dear friends of Hive, followers and visitors of @radiohive. Welcome all to this post in which I share with you my 5 favorite animals. Love for animals is the most powerful weapon we have, humans who regularly care for animals develop better impulse control, social skills and self-esteem.

Cuando tienes una mascota rara vez te vas a sentir solo, cuando la sacas a pasear te activas físicamente y tienes posibilidad de interactuar con otras personas que también estén con su mascota o que simplemente estén encantadas con la tuya.

When you have a pet you will rarely feel alone, when you take it out for a walk you become physically active and have the possibility to interact with other people who are also with their pet or who are simply delighted with yours.

Los animales no hablan con palabras, pero se comunican. Solo tienes que aprender a leer sus señales y su lenguaje corporal. Según Albert Mehrabian, experto en comunicación no verbal, entre el 60 y el 90% de nuestra comunicación diaria no se habla. 1.- TIGRE | TIGER

En mi vinculo con la naturaleza a través de los animales, al tigre lo percibo como un animal fascinante. Me gusta leer sobre los tigres, lo primero que encuentro sobre ellos es que es el felino más emblemático, el más grande, el más fuerte y también el más peligroso para el ser humano. Pero también diría que el más misterioso y atrayente.

In my connection with nature through animals, I perceive the tiger as a fascinating animal. I like to read about tigers, the first thing I find about them is that they are the most emblematic cat, the biggest, the strongest and also the most dangerous for human beings. But I would also say that it is the most mysterious and attractive.

Uno de mis sueños es ir de safari al África, hasta ahora sólo he visto tigres en cautiverio, al verlos el movimiento observó que su ritmo es armonioso, transmites una fortaleza inquebrantable. Cuando los veo siempre evoco el Libro de la Selva con tigres paseando entre centenarios palacios en ruinas. Y así es como prefiero verlos libres.

2.- BALLENA | WHALE

Somos una ballena que se mueve lento, pero con firmeza

We are a whale that moves slowly but firmly

La ballena es el animal más grande del mundo, nadie puede pasar desapercibido ante su majestuosidad. Este mamífero marino también conocida como rorcual azul, es una especie de cetáceo misticeto de la familia Balaenopteridae.

The whale is the largest animal in the world, no one can go unnoticed by its majesty. This marine mammal also known as blue whale, is a species of mystic cetacean of the family Balaenopteridae.

Todo lo que tiene que ver con una ballena es espectacularmente masivo: su lengua pesa lo mismo que un pequeño elefante, su corazón es tan grande como un auto y algunas de sus arterias son tan anchas, que un bebé podría gatear a través de ella.

Everything about a whale is spectacularly massive: its tongue weighs the same as a small elephant, its heart is as big as a car, and some of its arteries are so wide that a baby could crawl through them.

Para mi el encantó de la ballena es tal que pienso que en lo profundo del océano, donde pareciera no haber nada, se desplaza entre las aguas casi sin ser percibida y a pesar de su tamo y peso, sale a la superficie con una agilidad increíble y es capaz de flotar sobre el agua.

For me the whale's charm is such that I think that deep in the ocean, where there seems to be nothing, it moves through the waters almost unnoticed and despite its chaff and weight, it comes to the surface with incredible agility and is able to float on water.

3.- CEBRA | ZEBRA

Entre el cielo y la tierra, entre el blanco y el negro, su silueta de rayas se funde al Sol dorado.

La cebra es un animal muy llamativo, pues los diseños de su pelaje son maravillosos y variados. Las cebras son mamíferos herbívoros cuya alimentación se centra en el consumo de vegetales, como hierba, brotes, arbustos, hojas, corteza y fruta. Las cebras pertenecen a la especie Equus quagga, actualmente, existen tres especies diferentes de cebras: Equus quagga es la variedad más común y extendida.

Por naturaleza somos seres sociables y en mi manera de ser me gusta relacionarme con las demás personas y como las cebras son animales sociales que viven en pequeños grupos y se protegen entre ellas, esa característica produce en mi una simpatía por las cebras.

By nature we are sociable beings and in my way of being I like to relate to other people and as zebras are social animals that live in small groups and protect each other, this characteristic produces in me a sympathy for zebras.

4.- GATO | CAT

El gato es uno de los felinos más pequeños, pero tiene la capacidad de adoptar las características de todos los demás felinos. Me encantan los gatos, porque son domesticables, son juguetones y graciosos. Me inspiran mucha ternura y dulzura, el cariño que recibe de inmediato lo retribuye.

The cat is one of the smallest cats, but has the ability to adopt the characteristics of all other cats. I love cats, because they are domesticated, playful and funny. They inspire me a lot of tenderness and sweetness, the affection they receive immediately pays back.

4.- BÚHO | OLW

El búho es nocturno con agudos sentidos de la vista y el sonido. Ve a través de las sombras de la noche y oye los sonidos en el silencio; la ilusión de la oscuridad. Esto nos enseña a ver más allá de nuestras propias ilusiones y confiar en nuestra intuición y sentidos perceptivos. Anónimo.

The owl is nocturnal with acute senses of sight and sound. It sees through the shadows of the night and hears sounds in the silence; the illusion of darkness. This teaches us to see beyond our own illusions and trust our intuition and perceptive senses.

El búho siempre ha estado asociado con la inteligencia, por eso me gusta tanto, además de su sabiduría, silencio y visión nocturna, para mi el búho sabe lo que otros no conocen cuando todo está oscuro y confuso.

The owl has always been associated with intelligence, that's why I like it so much. Besides its wisdom, silence and night vision, for me the owl knows what others don't know when everything is dark and confusing.

Por estos poderes, el búho se ha convertido en el tótem animal de investigadores o científicos, escritores, bibliotecarios, editores, detectives, periodistas, filósofos y de psíquicos y clarividentes. Son todas profesiones que están relacionadas con escuchar, ver y analizar toda la información para tratar de utilizarla de forma inteligente como hace el búho en su día a día.

By these powers, the owl has become the totem animal of researchers or scientists, writers, librarians, publishers, detectives, journalists, philosophers and psychics and clairvoyants. They are all professions that are related to listening, seeing and analyzing all the information in order to try to use it in an intelligent way as the owl does in its day-to-day life.

En la mitología el búho ha estado considerado como animal de poder desde las culturas más antiguas como la Grecia clásica, el antiguo Egipto, en Europa con los celtas e, incluso, en la cultura hindú, entre otras muchas. En cada una de ellas ha tenido una gran importancia.

In mythology the owl has been considered as a power animal since the most ancient cultures such as classical Greece, ancient Egypt, in Europe with the Celts and even in the Hindu culture, among many others. In each one of them it has had a great importance.
