Splinterlands weekly challenge and this week theme is SOULSTORM
One of the best cards in Death deck, Soulstorm just a killer with very high speed and Range Attack. But again, since I'm not paying Death at my main accoount, let's see what is it worth at lower levels...

Here is final line-up using Contessa Lament as summoner
- HAUNTED SPIRIT. Most usual tank for Death splinter with self healing ability. Works perfect at lower levels with very high life. Average speed and Melee attack
- LORD OF DARKNESS. Legendary beast with very high Life and additional Armor. Higher Melee attack and lower speed. Enraged!
- CREEPING OOZE. Lowering opponent's monsters speed
- SOUL STORM. High Range Attack and Speed. Though pretty low Life
- SCREAMING BANSHEE. Very useful Epic monster with average Magic attack and Speed. Very low life compensated by very low Mana
- HAUNTED SPIDER. Lower Speed and average Range attack and Life. Normally good for last line
Main idea was to employ monsters with heavier Range and Magic damage, while still protecting front lines good enough. Opponent used Dragon summoner providing additional armor. Good move in Fog of War against Range attacks, but was not enough. Only Haunted Spirit lost as result

I've seen the Soulstorm playing in the lower levels and it did awesome in some battles so I think it's totally worth it.
The battle that you showed there has a very nice lineup it seems.
