Цей ставок вже зустрічався на сторінках мого блогу, він знаходиться в межах селища Ворзель та не має назви, тим не менше вельми популярний серед місцевих жителів, особливо влітку. Зазвичай в теплу пору року тут багато людей: рибалки зранку зайняті своєю справою, потім час дітей та любителів купання - коли жарко, то навіть ставкова вода стає в пригоді.
This pond has already appeared on the pages of my blog, it is located within the village of Vorzel and has no name, however, is very popular among locals, especially in summer. Usually in the warm season there are many people here: fishermen are busy in the morning, then the time of children and swimming enthusiasts - when it's hot, even pond water is useful.
В ті часи, коли людей тут немає, береги ставка займають різноманітні птахи, в тому числі гуси. Вони більші за качок, але менш граціозні ніж лебеді.
In times when people are not here, the shores of the pond are occupied by a variety of birds, including geese. They are larger than ducks, but less graceful than swans.
Гуси дуже цікаві птахи, ось декілька фактів про них:
Живуть гуси досить довго – 25-30 років. При перельоті вони створюють клин, завдяки чому перші птахи створюють розряджене повітря, що допомагає птахам позаду. При цьому гуси летять на висоті 7-8 кілометрів, і навіть був зареєстрований рекорд – політ гуся на висоті 10 кілометрів.

Geese live quite a long time - 25-30 years. When flying, they create a wedge, so the first birds create depleted air, which helps the birds behind. At the same time geese fly at an altitude of 7-8 kilometers, and even a record was registered - a goose flying at an altitude of 10 kilometers.
