Привіт всім читачам нашої української спільноти. Я завжди пишу у двох варіантах, на рідній, українській мові та на англійській. А раптом мене хтось читає з іноземних спільнот?
Отже вийшов сьогодні невеликий казус з перекладом. Оскільки я не досконало знаю англійської мови, то трохи змучився. Хочеться щоб і іноземні читачі зрозуміли про що йдеться. Автоматичний перекладач видає не те що треба, а саме назву квітки про яку я вирішив написати. В українській мові ця квітка зветься Волошка, а іноземною це звучить як кукурудза ( Cornflower, bluebottle, bluet). Яка ж це кукурудза?
Ну знайшов вихід, буду писати що це просто синя квітка. Подивіться на цю красу! У нас в Україні такі поля то не рідкість! Квіти гарно цвітуть, та здалеку це схоже на море, блакитне, очам приємно. Побачивши такі квіти одразу згадується пісня про ці самі волошки(bluebottle, bluet).
Якось я побачив вдаличені щось голубе, та що воно таке там росте? Пішов ближче, придивився, ще ближче, отакої, цілі поля усіяні блакитними квітками. Волошки у нас на полях ростуть як дикі рослини, і не рідко разом з ними ростуть і маки. Уявіть собі всю цю красу, де поля майоріють трьома кольорами - зелені трави, блакитні та червоні квіти.
Дехто з власників власних домівок саджає ці рослини у своїх садках, а от у полях вони ростуть без всіляких насаджень. Їдеш собі, чи ідеш і дивишься на ту красу, гарно, очам приємно. Та і фотографуватися можна на фоні цих квітів, яскраві фото будуть.

So, a small story with a translation came out today. Since I don't know English well, I got a little tired. I want foreign readers to understand what it is about. The automatic translator doesn't give what it should, namely the name of the flower I decided to write about. In Ukrainian, this flower is called cornflower, and in foreign language it sounds like cornflower (Cornflower, bluebottle, bluet). What kind of corn is this?
Well, I found a way out, I will write that it is just a blue flower. Look at this beauty! In Ukraine, such fields are not uncommon! The flowers bloom beautifully, but from a distance it looks like the sea, blue, pleasing to the eyes. Seeing such flowers immediately brings to mind the song about these cornflowers (bluebottle, bluet).
Once I saw something blue in the distance, but what is it growing there? I walked closer, looked closer, even closer, like this, whole fields are covered with blue flowers. Cornflowers grow like wild plants in our fields, and poppies often grow with them. Imagine all this beauty, where the fields are dominated by three colors - green grass, blue and red flowers.
Some of the owners of their own homes plant these plants in their gardens, but in the fields they grow without any kind of planting. You go for yourself, or you go and look at that beauty, it's beautiful, it's pleasing to the eyes. Yes, you can take photos against the background of these flowers, you will get bright photos.

Дуже гарна добірка. Теж були такі випадки,що Гугл перекладає щось дивне:) Тому часом пишу латинську назву.
У нас ще не цвітуть волошки...
У нас було тепло то цвіте багато що, а це вже два дні злива

Oh, it's good that you understood, because the foreign language sometimes translates incorrectly. Yes, blue as the sea and they are our favorite flowers in Ukraine. Women even embroider cornflowers on their clothes with thread.
We do that here too! Although many flowers are used, the cornflower was my grandmother's favorite. I understand translation doesn't always tell the right story, I have the same problem, but, your posts are actually quite understandable, so thank you. I think you do a good job!
