Dear World, I have no words to describe all the daily bloody atrocities that russia is committing in Ukraine. Sometimes it seems to me that most of you are only interested in pictures of the devastation of this terrible war, daily news, dry facts and statistics of the dead. Few people want to understand the root causes of this war, to look deep to see the body of the iceberg of the brutal genocide of Ukrainians, not just its top.

The reason for the centuries-old confrontation between Ukraine and russia has always been one — russia's pathological hatred of Ukrainians and its desire to destroy us as a nation at all levels of our existence: physical, spiritual, cultural, scientific, political. I no longer know how to explain to the world so that the world can finally understand the essence of this Hellish Evil. I want the world to find at least a little courage and continue to put pressure on political leaders to help us to destroy the Big Evil once and for all. Because if Death conquers Life, what is a meaning of an existence of Faith, Hope, Love, Humanity? Give me an answer to this question!

Beyond that, words fail me to know how to adequately respond with at least some measure of hope and Light in the midst of the darkness, death, and destruction in which you and your people are currently surrounded. I can say many Americans are being challenged to reconsider what they think they know. And to reflect deeply about our own heritage of struggle against tyrannical rule, resulting in a "Live Free or Die" mindset similar to yours and so many of your people.
I could say much more about what is going on here. To give you some "unfiltered" perspective which you may or may not have there. But ... I do not know that this would be welcome. Or helpful ...
Please know we pray daily for all that is happening there. Our belief in a Sovereign God is at the core of any hope we have. May He watch over and keep you and your loved ones through whatever may lay ahead. And rest assured that He will ultimately judge the Putins of the world, who has a particularly hot corner of Hell reserved in eternity, with his name on it, the moment after he draws his last breath in this world.

Three weeks ago in Ukraine we had a life very similar to how the civilized world lives today. But one person decided that Ukrainians have no right to live. The people of russia gave their tacit consent and became an accomplice in a terrible crime.
Now we are in a state of survival, we are fighting and defending not only our country, our freedom and our lives, but also the whole world.
Today, Ukraine is demonstrating what is true democracy, unity, solidarity, freedom and dignity. We will survive because our people have been reborn from the ashes for centuries. I am convinced that the world does not want our death and does not want war in their countries. But this war is not so far from you. I hope that many people in the world understand this. But the world has no moral right to use us to do the dirty work with Ukrainian hands. Because cowardice is a sign of weakness.
Certainly this must be so with the vast majority of people.
Actually, almost on the other side of the world from us. So ... It is far too easy to pretend it has no impact on our lives here, while at the same time a nuclear-tipped ballistic missile launched from Russia (or China ...) would be here in minutes.
That said, I certainly understand your point, as much as it is possible having never been in anything like the situation in which you now find yourself and your people. I can picture it, to some extent, and have some idea of what I and my family (and most any friend or relative I have) would do - "live free or die" would be our decision, as it is with you.
May God grant the leaders of the countries of the West (while the rest of the world, especially China, watches ...) the wisdom and courage needed to face this time in history and do the right thing.
