Наприкінці ХІХ ст. на Новому плані (новій частині міста) заклали прекрасний романтичний парк уздовж скель Смотрицького каньйону. Та, певно, наймальовничішим було місце, де зі стрімкої скелі сріблястими струменями спадала вода струмка. Тут його перетинав невеличкий місток, який звався Бульварним або Банківським. Праворуч від мосту сьогодні можна побачити невелике озерце з парою білих лебедів, а ліворуч – водойму з парою чорних лебедів. Це ніби натяк на дуалістичність нашого світу, де завжди присутнє світле й темне.
Від Лебединого озера в бік Новопланівського мосту прямує Алея закоханих, вимощена бруківкою у формі українського весільного рушника. Ліворуч дзюркотять невеличкі фонтанчики, праворуч же відкриваються краєвиди Старого міста!
