Вчора я проходив повз відомий на всю Україну міст біля станції метро Шулявська в Києві. В 2017 його сильно пошкодила пожежа і він втратив свої конституційні можливості навантажень і обвалився. Ця подія довго обговорювалась в пресі.
Yesterday I passed by a bridge known throughout Ukraine near Shulyavska metro station in Kyiv. In 2017, it was badly damaged by a fire and it lost its constitutional load capacity and collapsed. This event was discussed for a long time in the press.
Після того випадку міст прославив мер Києва Вітай Кличко, відповівши на питання журналістів "що трапилось з мостом?", що той "просто втомився і впав", маючи на увазі інженерний термін "втома металу", з якого були зроблені мостові прольоти. Обвав мосту майже на три роки спровокував справжній транспортний колапс в Києві, адже цей міст облуговував найбільші транспорті магістралі міста.
After that incident, Kyiv Mayor Vitay Klitschko glorified the bridge, answering the journalists' question "what happened to the bridge?" that it "simply got tired and fell", referring to the engineering term "metal fatigue", from which the bridge spans were made. The collapse of the bridge for almost three years provoked a real transport collapse in Kyiv, because this bridge served the city's largest transport routes.
І от перебуваючи біля цього мосту, я згадував всі перепитії навколо нього. Він вже працює на повну як транспортна розв'язка після проведеної реконструкції, залишилось лише впорядкувати підмостову територію.
And when I was near this bridge, I remembered all the events around it. It is already fully operational as a transport interchange after the reconstruction, all that remains is to organize the area under the bridge.
Побачив цікаву деталь на одній з конструкцій, а саме надпис, що металеві прольоти оновленого Шулявського мосту зроблено в місті Миколаїв, який нещодавно героїчно відбивався від спроб російської окупації.
I saw an interesting detail on one of the structures, namely the inscription that the metal spans of the renovated Shulyav bridge were made in the city of Mykolaiv, a city that recently heroically fought off attempts at Russian occupation.
