Насіння від благодійників \ Seeds from benefactors

Отримали чергову посилку від наших благодійників. А там, крім продуктів, - море гарного насіння! Це мені нагадало народну мудрість: 'Якщо хочеш нагодувати голодного, - дай йому поїсти. Якщо хочеш, щоб він ніколи не голодував - дай йому вудку, і він сам наловить собі риби.'

We received another parcel from our benefactors. And there, in addition to products, there is a sea of good seeds! This reminded me of the folk wisdom: "If you want to feed the hungry, give him something to eat. If you want him to never go hungry, give him a fishing rod and he will catch fish himself.'

Моя мама багато із цих рослин ніколи і не вирощувала, навіть не знала про існування. Наприклад, що таке брокколі чи кольрабі, прийшлося пояснювати. Зате вона чітко виявила недостачу буряка серед цього різноманіття пакетиків! 😁 Звісно: буряк на нашому городі дитинства мав бути і був завжди. Адже, в першу чергу, це є борщ. Справжній. Український. Тому на городі в кожної господині має бути буряк. Але для мене з моїми півтора сотками землі легше той буряк купити. А виростити щось дійсно незвичне, смачне, вітамінне та ще й екзотичне в якійсь мірі. Ну хоча б для мами. 😎
Сьогодні терміново висіяла на розсаду перець і помідори. Адже терміни їх посіву вже спливли, але ще є шанс встигнути до стійкого тепла отримати потрібну розсаду.

But she clearly found the lack of beets among this variety of bags! 😁 Of course: there should have been beetroot in our childhood garden and it always was. After all, first of all, this is borscht. Real. Ukrainian. Therefore, every housewife should have beets in her garden. Але землі в мене дуже мало, і ті буряки легше купити. And to grow something really unusual, tasty, vitamin-rich and even exotic to some extent. Well, at least for mom. 😎
Today I urgently sowed peppers and tomatoes for seedlings. After all, the terms of their sowing have already passed, but there is still a chance to get the necessary seedlings in time for the persistent heat.

Приходилось за допомогою google фото перекладати опис кожного окремого сорту рослин, щоб зрозуміти характеристики та особливості вирощування. І ось яке речення мені сподобалось найбільше:

Дуже сподобалась мені упаковка. В пакетику лежить ще один пакетик. Із фольги, ще й з внутрішнім покриттям типу поліетиленової плівки. В таких умовах насінинки не пересихають і краще зберігаються.

I really liked the packaging. There is another bag in the bag. Made of foil, also with an inner coating such as polyethylene film. In such conditions, the seeds do not dry out and are better stored.

Посіяно. Дуже надіюсь, що всі насінини проростуть. А далі вже я про них подбаю. Щоб влітку та восени ще і ще раз подякувати нашим благодійникам за постійну підтримку. А ще - після нашої перемоги запросити їх у гості. І вгостити вирощеними смачними овочами, насіння яких вони подарували навесні. 💛💙
