Greetings dear #motherhood community. It is happiness to share once again with you. After a short break, my adventures with Matihas are back again.
Mi hija mayor, la mamá de Matihas estuvo enferma con Covid, mientras estuvo en casa cumpliendo tratamiento y con las medidas de seguridad, el niño se mantuvo con ella y el padre durante el proceso.
My oldest daughter, Matihas' mom was sick with Covid, while she was at home undergoing treatment and safety measures, the child stayed with her and the father during the process.
Por medidas de seguridad me recomendaron no estar cerca de mi hija aunque es difícil para una madre tomar este tipo de decisiones aún y cuando sabemos que es necesario tanto para el que está sano, cómo para el enfermo.
For safety reasons, I was advised not to be near my daughter, although it is difficult for a mother to make this kind of decision even though we know that it is necessary for the healthy and the sick.
Gracias a Dios todo fue pasando poco a poco. Mi hija sufrió alusinaciones y con ese extraño síntoma estuvimos muy preocupados. Luego de un mes de cuidados a distancia, enfermó Matihas, la fiebre llegó a 42°, se sumaron más angustias porque el niño sufre de episodios de asma y cuando recién nació se complicó con tosferina o tos convulsiva. Obviamente sus abtecedentes médicos nos dijo que debíamos tomar previsiones. Gracias a Dios el niño pasó muy rápido todo el malestar y de nuevo pudimos retomar las actividades.
Thank God everything went by little by little. My daughter suffered from hallucinations and with that strange symptom we were very worried. After a month of long-distance care, Matias got sick, the fever reached 42°, more anxieties were added because the child suffers from asthma episodes and when he was just born, it was complicated with whooping cough or convulsive cough. Obviously his medical history told us that we had to take precautions. Thank God the child got over all the discomfort very quickly and we were able to resume our activities again.
Fueron más de cuarenta días de encierro, se podrán imaginar la energía acumulada en el cuerpo de Matihas. En cuando supo que podría salir pidió ir a la playa. Lo llevamos pero no a darse baños 😅, su intención era pasar todo el día dentro del agua pero su pediatra no lo autorizó.
It was more than forty days of confinement, you can imagine the energy accumulated in Matihas' body. As soon as he knew he could get out, he asked to go to the beach. We took him but not to take a bath 😅 his intention was to spend the whole day in the water but his pediatrician did not authorize it.
Para no quitarle la emoción al niño lo llevé al parque temático Armando Reverón el cual fue inaugurado en el año 2016. Es un parque hermoso con escultura de animales de gran tamaño. Durante la interacción los niños pueden aprender de sus características, modo de vida y su función dentro del ecosistema. Claro! Una cosa es lo que piensa el burro y otra cosa piensa quien lo arrea😅
In order not to take away the child's excitement I took him to the Armando Reverón theme park which was inaugurated in 2016. It is a beautiful park with large animal sculptures. During the interaction children can learn about their characteristics, way of life and their function within the ecosystem. Of course, one thing is what the donkey thinks and another thing is what he thinks😅.
Apenas llegamos al parque Matihas comenzó a pegar carrera por todos lados. Veía los espacios y quería recorrerlos todos. Pedía que le lanzara fotos haciendo sus payasadas. El niño decía que le hacía falta volver a la vida normal. Cuando hizo alusión a la frase casi muero de la risa. El animal que más lo impresionó fue el cocodrilo, lo exploró por varios lados, luego tuvo la ocurrencia de meterse en la boca del animal y...
As soon as we arrived at the park, Matihas started running all over the place. He saw the spaces and wanted to run through them all. He asked me to throw pictures of him doing his antics. The boy said he needed to get back to normal life. When he alluded to the phrase I almost died laughing. The animal that impressed him the most was the crocodile, he explored it from several sides, then he had the idea of getting into the animal's mouth and....
¡Trabajaba en arte dramático! 😅 No sé de dónde sacó semejante ocurrencia, lo cierto es que después del drama afirmó que los cocodrilos son indefensos pero los humanos los hacen actuar con malicia. Si los dejáramos en paz serían felices con sus pequeños cocodrilos. La mente de los niños puede ser muy ágil, no siempre saben lo que dicen pero sus ocurrencias, análisis e interpretaciones contribuyen a su desarrollo creativo.
He worked in dramatic arts! 😅 I don't know where he got such a witticism from, the truth of the matter is that after the drama he stated that crocodiles are helpless but humans make them act with malice. If we left them alone they would be happy with their little crocodiles. Children's minds can be very agile, they don't always know what they are saying but their witticisms, analysis and interpretations contribute to their creative development.
Hemos notado en Matihas su capacidad al momento de emitir algún discurso, en algunos casos maneja vocabulario técnico como si fuese especialista. Durante el paseo hablaba de reptiles, anfibios, aves, peces moluscos e insectos, más que dirigirse al animal por su nombre lo hacía de acuerdo a la especie. Ciertamente, el niño ha aprendido mucho con estos paseos, él mismo manifiesta sus avances y se estimula a sí mismo.
We have noticed in Matihas his ability to deliver a speech, in some cases he handles technical vocabulary as if he were a specialist. During the tour he talked about reptiles, amphibians, birds, fish, mollusks and insects, rather than addressing the animal by its name, he did it according to the species. Certainly, the child has learned a lot with these walks, he himself shows his progress and stimulates himself.
Sigue vigente la teoría que los niños aprenden del contexto y también que sus aprrndizajes pueden darse por descubrimiento. Quien sabe hasta cuando durará esta realidad educativa tan crítica en Venezuela, cada vez más pareciera que solo quienes tienen dinero, tienen acceso a la educación, los menos adinerado siguen quedando reprimidos. Con base a esta situación es importante que cada familia tome acciones que favorezca el aprendizaje de sus hijos. Gracias a Dios cada vez tenemos más herramientas para hacer uso de ellas. De igual manera tenemos familia que contribuyen a ese trabajo con los más pequeños de la casa. Cada juego, cada situación vivida, cada idea manifestada por los pequeños son válidas para sacarles provecho.
The theory that children learn from the context and also that their learning can take place through discovery is still valid. Who knows how long this critical educational reality will last in Venezuela, it seems more and more that only those who have money have access to education, the less wealthy continue to be repressed. Based on this situation it is important that each family take actions that favor the learning of their children. Thank God we have more and more tools to make use of them. In the same way we have families that contribute to this work with the little ones of the house. Every game, every situation experienced, every idea expressed by the little ones are valid to take advantage of them.

Hola amiga fue un gran susto, gracias a Dios ya pasó todo. El parque sí, una belleza aunque hubo una fuerte lluvia que arrastró parte del parque. Estas zonas son impredecibles. Saludos.
