A year in which we have learned, we have laughed with all her antics, we have cried with the difficulties that have come our way, we have given each other a lot of love and always together the 3 of us have moved forward.
El tiempo pasó volando, a pesar de todas las dificultades que estamos viviendo a nivel mundial con la pandemia de la #covid-19, pudimos papá y mamá, celebrar la vida, celebrar un año con nuestra pequeña amada. Un año en el que hemos aprendido, hemos reído con todas sus travesuras, hemos llorado con las dificultades que se nos han presentado, nos hemos dado mucho amor y siempre juntos los 3 hemos salido adelante.

Due to the outbreak of covid cases that broke out in the community where we live, we were forced to prohibit visits and not leave the house. We knew we would not be able to celebrate the child's birthday because if the family could not come, what would we do? But I told my husband that the important thing is to celebrate life, to celebrate that we are together and that even though everything is in chaos outside the house, here we try to maintain a daily routine, the baby learns everything we teach her and we try to give her a normal life, even if it is behind closed doors.
So I made her a list of materials and we started making the decorations for the party. We called it party for 3 and we had a great time. The theme I chose was ladybug 🐞, we made a piñata, an outfit for the birthday girl, the godparents baked a cake and we all had a great time together.
Desde el mes de junio estamos en cuarentena extrema, es decir, que no podemos salir ni a la puerta. Toda la familia de mi esposo se mantiene en comunicación por video chat y por teléfono, esto desde que María Teresa nació, así que ella escucha sonar el teléfono y ya sabe que va a ver a sus primas o a su abuela, es algo cotidiano.
Debido al brote de casos de covid que se desató en la comunidad donde vivimos, nos vimos abligados a prohibir las visitas y a no salir de casa. Pesnsabamos que no podríamos hacerle la celebración de cumpleaños a la niña porque si no podia venir ni la familia que ibamos a hacer? Pero le dije a mi esposo que lo importante es celebrar la vida, celebrar que estamos juntos y que aunque de puertas para afuera de la casa todo esté en caos, aqui tratamos de mantener una rutina diaria, la bebé aprende todo lo que le enseñamos y se trata de darle una vida normal asi sea a puertas cerradas.
Entonces le hice una lista de materiales y empezamos a hacer los adornos de la fiesta. La llamamos fiesta para 3 y la pasamos muy bien. La tematica que escogí fue mariquita 🐞, hicimos piñata, un traje para la cumpleañera, los padrinos amandaron una torta y la pasamos muy bien los 3 juntos.

My recommendation to all families is that we should not stop celebrating life and that even if we have to see each other on the phone, we should be happy and enjoy ourselves.
