Being a mother of an autism son is truly difficult and it's has difference between my eldest son. I never expected that my youngest son will be having an autism spectrum level 2. Wayback 2023 when I decided to see a doctor for him. It's a davao doctors hospital of Davao city. There's a lot of questions for myself why my son is autism.
After the diagnosed the doctor advise me on how to handled my son especially when he had a tantrums. I've struggled a lot already the time that I didn't know yet. I've experienced been kick, punch, bite, scratch and been thrown a lot of things when my son having a tantrums. Afterwards I left him for our room then few minutes when I come back he will be calm.
During school time also the teacher always guide him especially the school activities. The teacher always update me and sending some photos/videos of baby Collin. The feeling of being happy and proud of what my son's progress is totally worth it. Eventhough it's not private school but baby Collin learns a lot at the government school of CSWD. I'm too much grateful of having them in my place for free.
Apparently when birthdays Collin or just an ordinary day I'm treating them a snacks. The way of showing an appreciation for them is my way of thanking them to all the goodness and love that they've given to my son. They treat my son like their own family that makes me cry. Eventhough it's not easy to handle him but they had a 101% patience to their students. Kudos to the teachers out there.
By the way when it comes to this activity I can't do this at home not like at school he will listened to his teacher. Inserting some letters to a knot or beads it's really hard for me because baby Collin will throw it to the window eventhough I've scold him. Haiztttt life. Sometimes he never listen to me and I let him be of what he wants to do.
When it comes in writing, tracing or coloring he really follows what I'm saying to him. Thank God it's not hard for me to teach him in that part. Collin now is 6 years old and he grow so fast that I couldn't imagined he learned a lot already. English words is easy for him that I didn't teach him some of them. So slung that I can't understand what his saying. So I need to repeat and repeat hahaha.
Being stressed also it's not good for us especially when we were pregnant because the baby that were carrying for 9 months will be affected. Not all but most of them mom's that I've known here in my place is having an autism kids of being stressed. It's not good to our health also so make yourself to be happy and don't think to much to be angry. Our mental health will be affected and I've experienced that one, so I'm trying myself to be busy to avoid thinking a bad things.

He looks like he's doing really well. That's because you had him diagnosed early and early intervention is massively important.
The beads on a string is a really good exercise that we use at our clinic too. Next step is to teach to follow a simple two-coloured pattern.
I understand how difficult it is for a parent but your government school looks brilliant :-)
