Celebrating Mother's Day and 3 years of our community!
Previous Community Update
This is going to be a special update post since we are not only celebrating Mother's Day today but we are actually celebrating our 3rd anniversary as a community, I created the community back on May 8th of 2020 to celebrate Mother's Day and even tho we didn't have any real activity in here until later that year on September, I still consider May 8th the date of birth of the community.

I have to say the biggest accomplishment for me (@victoriabsb) is seeing not only the Hispanic moms posting here but moms from all over the world and even better DADS! we were born as a community for the moms of Hive but with time
Dads have joined us from all over the world and we are now a Parenthood no matter sex or genre community! (we are not changing the name I feel nostalgic about it)
We as always as long as the rules are respected welcome all moms and dads no matter the language!
Currently we have 4360 Subscribers
We have grown SO MUCH from our first update when we only had 140 subs and we couldn't be happier to have amazing members who fill up with so many awesome posts our community!
We want to highly the awesome things we have had in our community in the last 3 years so here we go...
- We have awesome weekly and daily Challenges to help come up with themes to post and keep the activity in the community going.
- We have the support of a bunch of awesome curators to whom we are very grateful for always stopping by our community to give some love to our members.
- We have a special badge for moms & dads that are active in the community thanks to the guys from PeakD.
- Every Post that is created in our community is as always tweeted automatically on our Twitter account and shared on our Facebook account giving the author and Hive exposure on other social media.
- We have an awesome partnership with the Leofinance team to support Motherhood Content on their Threads dapp.
- We have 2 pretty awesome advice columns the original from a special Grandma that comes out weekly and the new one from our mods that discuss parenthood topics.
- We have a curation account to keep the curated content tab with the best of the best from our community

Weekly & Daily Challenges
Our weekly and daily challenges have come and gone through the 3 years now, the dailies I will be honest are hard to keep up cause I have done so many already that I'm currently out of ideas, if you want to see them back please do suggest ideas on the comments! you still have over 332 different topics to choose from from the previous weeks to do, as always they are free to use and you don't need to keep any order to participate.
To be part you have to make a post in our community about the theme of the week that you can usually find pinned on the community page or on our official account @motherhood profile, use the tags #Motherhood and #MotherhoodOnHive and shared it on any social media you want. that is, it is as easy as that.

Remember that thanks to the awesome guys of @PeakD we have our very own badges! They are called Mom of Hive & Dad of Hive If you go to the badge link you can follow not only the post made on our community but all the post from moms or dads on Hive that already have the badge. If you dont have the badge yet do leave a comment down below so I can give it to you!
We are also able to give out Roles to our members, we reserve this for the most active, who at least post and comment on our community weekly, so if you feel like you fit these requirements ask away for yours in the comments and see your username accompanied by an awesome title!

Social Media | Redes Sociales
Remember you can like our page and join our group so you have an easy way to share your posts!
We have it so that any post made in our community is automatically posted in our page.
Our Twitter account as always is posting automatically the content made in our community with the most attractive tags to help improve the visibility, and is followed by a few big mommy blog accounts that usually give RTs to some of our tweets, remeber to always tag our account in your Tweets so we can RT it.
Since we created the Motherhood on Hive Social Media Accounts for Twitter and Facebook, we have been constantly posting our mommas' blog posts on them, we're using https://ifttt.com/ for the automation of the posting on Facebook and Twitter.

Curations
We used to have a live curation show every Saturday on PALNet Discord Server for all the moms that have participated during the week on the community for over 103 weeks, currently is on hold since this can be very time-consuming and well the hosts of said show are busy moms!
Right now our curations are done daily directly on our community feed by the amazing mods that help me run Motherhood. We try to keep non only an original content kind of rule but we also request for our members to make quality posts and give out suggestions always trying to teach them to improve.

Collaboration With Leofinance Team!

The Leofinance team has been hard at work with their projects one of them being Project Blank is Live – a.k.a Threads, for this they approached us to do a collaboration for the benefit of both our communities. that is why we have been supporting the Motherhood & parenthood related content made or promoted there.
They kindly gave us an awesome delegation of 25K Leo Power so we can give out votes to any threads our members make there that are related to our community and we made a channel for you to leave the links of your threads on our discord server

I couldn't have made all this possible without the help of the amazing super mom that is @elizabeths14 who continues to look out for the community making sure to throw a chancla to whoever dares to commit any sort of abuse.
Along the way, we ended up needing the help of another curator since we have so much content on the daily basics, that is how we seek out the help from the best curator Hive has @jcrodriguez.
We have to mention the amazing @Marybellrg and @mafalda2018 who have been there since the beginning and currently help out with the weekly columns.
