Hola mi hermosa comunidad hoy quiero hablar de cómo inculcar en nuestros hijos ese respeto por el medio ambiente y definitivamente hay muchas estrategias y métodos, así como diferentes actividades formativas que nos ayudan a enseñar a nuestros hijos a amar y respetar la creación, amar y respetar la naturaleza evitando la contaminación, pero desde mi punto de vista la mejor estrategia de enseñanza que podemos utilizar es el ejemplo porque nuestras enseñanzas deben ir de la mano de nuestras acciones.

Sería ilógico enseñar con palabras a nuestros hijos a no contaminar mientras nuestras acciones demuestran algo diferente y al hablar de contaminación parece un tema tan amplio de abordar, pero realmente es que, con pequeños hábitos y pequeñas acciones contribuimos desde nuestro hogar.
It would be illogical to teach our children with words not to pollute while our actions demonstrate something different and when talking about pollution it seems such a broad topic to address, but really it is that, with small habits and small actions we contribute from our home.

Algo que siempre me molesta es ver cómo la gente tira la basura en la calle, a veces se comen una fruta y tiran las cáscaras en las aceras y ese sentimiento de rechazo hacia ese comportamiento se lo he transmitido a mi hijo, porque puedo decir que ha aprendido con el ejemplo, Alexander es incapaz de tirar cualquier basura en la calle sea orgánica o inorgánica y siempre llega a casa con los bolsillos llenos de papeles, bolsas y si toma un juego en la calle, llega a casa con un envase de plástico o cartón en la mano.

En una ocasión un familiar nos llamó tontos porque dijo que era ilógico traer basura de la calle a nuestra casa y mi hijo le contestó que esa no era basura de la calle porque ya él la había comprado y él era el responsable de tirarla en un lugar adecuado, el familiar avergonzado se quedó sin palabras. Sabemos que en nuestro país, este tema de la basura es un tema delicado y más porque no hay botes de basura en las calles y los servicios como el del Aseo Urbano pasan una vez al mes, pero como buenos ciudadanos debemos tomar las medidas necesarias para no hacer daño al planeta, entre ellas no arrojar basura en las calles.

En nuestra casa tenemos dos botes de basura, uno donde colocamos todos los desechos orgánicos, como el tuche de café y las cáscaras de las verduras, este a vez se entierra en un pequeño patio que tenemos y así vamos haciendo una composta, porque contribuye a tener la tierra abonada. En cuanto a las bolsas, latas y cartones, los ponemos en otro bote de basura, esperando a que pase el servicio de Aseo una vez al mes y como no hay residuos orgánicos, la basura puede esperar mucho tiempo sin mal olor.
In our house we have two garbage cans, one where we put all the organic waste, such as coffee grounds and vegetable peels, this one is buried in a small patio that we have and in this way we make a compost, because it contributes to have the soil fertilized. As for the bags, cans and cartons, we put them in another garbage can, waiting for the garbage service to come by once a month and since there is no organic waste, the garbage can wait for a long time without a bad smell.
Con orgullo puedo ver como cuando mu hijo cocina divide los desechos orgánicos de los que no lo son y coloca cada uno en su bote, uno para hacer el composta y el otro para el aseo. Como madre considero que el respeto por la creación nace en la casa, ese amor por la naturaleza, ese sentimiento de cuidado es un hábito que se enseña con el ejemplo.
I can proudly see how when my son cooks, he divides the organic waste from the non-organic waste and places each one in its own jar, one for composting and the other for cleaning. As a mother, I believe that respect for creation is born at home, that love for nature, that feeling of care is a habit that is taught by example.
