Hola hermosa comunidad de @Motherhood, en esta ocasión quiero compartir mi experiencia en el abordaje de discapacidad y condiciones especiales, como tema principal con respecto a mi hijo y bueno les cuento que afortunadamente ha sido un tema muy fácil de manejar, ya que desde que estaba en segundo grado interactuó con otros compañeros de clase que presentaban algunas condiciones especiales, incluso su mejor compañero de colegio era un niño con trastorno del espectro autista y fue tanta su amistad, que mi hijo se convirtió en un batón de ayuda para él y más cuando su amigo presentaba ansiedad o depresión, mi hijo llego a comprenderlo, escucharlo, incluso aconsejarlo. Hoy en día con el confinamiento este compañero todavía lo llama, porque le hace falta.

Hello beautiful community of @Motherhood, this time I want to share my experience in addressing disability and special conditions, as the main topic regarding my son and well I tell you that fortunately it has been a very easy topic to handle, because since he was in second grade he interacted with other classmates who had some special conditions, Even his best classmate at school was a child with autism spectrum disorder and their friendship was so great that my son became a help baton for him and even more when his friend presented anxiety or depression, my son came to understand him, listen to him, even advise him. Today, with his confinement, this friend still calls him, because he needs his help.

Ya en el liceo mi hijo hizo nuevos amigos y de una matrícula de 35 niños, aproximadamente 8 presentan una condición especial, de los cuales todos son buenos compañeros de mi hijo, a veces yo llegaba a buscarlo en el liceo y mi hijo estaba en compañía de sus compañeros hablando de tecnología y casualmente entre esos amigos estaban los 8 niños con condición especial, a veces los docentes pasaban y decían, aquí están los nerds para referirse a ellos, pero los niños los ignoraban.

In high school my son made new friends and out of an enrollment of 35 children, approximately 8 have a special condition, of which all are good friends of my son, sometimes I came to pick him up at school and my son was in the company of his classmates talking about technology and coincidentally among those friends were the 8 children with special conditions, sometimes the teachers would pass by and say, here are the nerds to refer to them, but the children ignored them.

Con respecto a otras discapacidades, en la escuela de Arte mi hijo, tubo la dicha de relacionarse con un niño sordo y fueron muy amigos, actualmente todavía se ven y se saludan y por la necesidad que tenía mi hijo de hablar con este compañero, aprendió palabras básicas del lenguaje de señas.Nuestro grupo de amigos es muy variado y hay de todo un poco, entre ellos varios amigos sordos, con los cuales nos entendemos con gran fluidez, hasta podemos decir muy orgullosos que cada uno de nosotros tiene su propia seña asignada por un amigo sordo, con la cual ellos nos identifican y nosotros también identificamos a otros amigos.

With respect to other disabilities, in art school my son had the joy of interacting with a deaf child and they were very close friends, currently they still see each other and greet each other and because of the need my son had to talk to this classmate, he learned basic words of sign language. Our group of friends is very varied and there is a little bit of everything, among them several deaf friends, with whom we understand each other very fluently, we can even say very proudly that each of us has our own sign assigned by a deaf friend, with which they identify us and we also identify other friends.

Para nosotros no hay diferencias, ni discriminación por discapacidad o condición especial, ya que ante los ojos de Dios todos somos iguales y como sabemos nuestro Dios todo poderoso valora lo que hay en nuestra mente y corazón. Algo muy importante es: si decidimos ser amigos de Dios y hacer su voluntad, por eso hemos inculcado en Alexander que cualquier otra persona sin importar su condición, es su igual, su semejante al que debe respetar y amar.

For us there are no differences, no discrimination for disability or special condition, because in the eyes of God we are all equal and as we know our almighty God values what is in our mind and heart. Something very important is if we decide to be friends of God and do his will, that is why we have instilled in Alexander that any other person regardless of his condition, is his equal, his fellow man whom he must respect and love.
