Ein tolles Fotomotiv ist der Herbst-Lorchel. Er wächst oft am Wegrand und wird selten als Speisepilz verwendet, da er als nicht besonders verträglich gilt. Für mich spielt das keine Rolle, da ich diesen Pilz ausschließlich als willkommenes Fotomotiv nutze.
A great photo motif is the white saddle mushroom. It often grows by the wayside and is seldom used as an edible mushroom, as it is not considered to be very well tolerated. For me it does not matter, because I use this mushroom exclusively as a welcome photo motif.

Der Schein trügt, es war nicht die Sonne, die den Pilz zum Leuchten brachte, sondern eine meiner Taschenlampen, die ich sehr gerne zum Fotografieren nutze. Es macht einfach Spaß, den Pilz zum Leuchten zu bringen. Aber an sonnigen Tagen funktioniert das auch mit natürlichem Sonnenlicht. Schreibt mir doch einfach mal, welche der beiden Aufnahmen euch am besten gefällt?
Appearances are deceptive, it was not the sun that made the mushroom glow, but one of my flashlights, which I like to use for taking pictures. It is simply fun to make the mushroom glow. But on sunny days it also works with natural sunlight. Why don't you write me which of the two pictures you like best?

another specie I am fascinated and dream of meeting one day, having a macro lens and a good lighting. is it a late autumn mushroom? never managed to see it in the summer, the time when I visit the forest.

Here in Central Europe you can discover the mushroom preferably in November. I hope the hive rises to 10 USD, that you too can afford a macro lens.

?? hey, I have got two macro lens, 60mm Tamron (which I do not use anymore, as it was intended for my old Canon 350D and doesnt fit to the 5D), and Sigma 150mm which is a nice lens, I want to change it to Sigma 105 or better to Canon 105, and definitely will do it, if Hive will go to the Moon :)
in my lens arsenal improvement plans are getting a soviet manual Industar 61, (and maybe also a manual Helios 40), and a Raynox-DCR-250 super macro
Ho, ho, ho, then I underestimated you. The 150mm Sigma is a great lens, which I used for some time. For my Canon I have the 100mm + that 180mm in the closet. But most of my macros I take with the Pannasonic Lumix G9 + Olympus Macro 60mm. This system is simply smaller, lighter and above all faster with the focus stack than the Canon 5D.
Does it have some focus stack technology implemented within the system?..
I am doing all manually, and without the tripod most of the time (which I also has in my posession, but mostly keep it in the corner of my house, haha!) thats the reason I suffer from 150mmm and plan to change it to 105. but having a 150 gives me a bonus -- I love to take streetphoto from a distance, and 150mm helps in doing so.
With my 5D Mark IV I have to connect the camera to the smartphone via the integrated WLAN. Using the App DSLR controllers I can then control my camera and use a focus stacking feature integrated in the App.
The Lumix G9 already has this function directly on board. However, controlling the camera via a smartphone also works very well.
I assumed something like this, but didnt imagine the technical side in details. well, theres a huge room for me to grow. at the moment, I keep things simpler, and depend a lot on the outdoors lighting. thanks for your responding back, and for your time.

My friend's great guess ,, I also often use artificial lighting but specifically in macro photography and cameras that have only a smartphone camera but the results are amazing ....
Next time you try to appear in a macro photography image in a dark room + lighting around the subject + black glass and see the results..😀

Der Pilz ist ja nicht giftig. Allerdings gilt er auch nicht unbedingt als besonders beliebter Speisepilz. Ich sage ja immer, man muss nicht alles essen, was man essen kann 😉

Never seen a mushroom like this, looks like a lady with long blond hair, hands lifted up, in long white night gown, something like olden day pictures.
First photo is definitely the one I enjoyed the most not looking through the image too much.
