Hello fungi lovers, again another week contributing my latest find, in one of my recent outings in search of mushrooms.
For a few months, to be more exact, since November they have not grown mushrooms again, and initially they will not do so until next year.
I still have some images of mushrooms, and today I bring a new species of mushroom called Hypholoma fasciculare, from the Strophariaceae family.
It is a small sized mushroom, its color is generally darker orange in the center, it has a long stem and it usually grows in groups close together.
It can be found in various forests, but especially in deciduous forests, it grows on logs and decaying wood remains, although the ones I found were born on the ground.
Its collection season is usually between summer and autumn, I found them in October, it is a very photogenic mushroom since they come out in very large groups.
It is a toxic mushroom, although its toxicity is not dangerous, after cooking it presents a nauseating smell and taste, which causes absolute rejection.
