I think I'm not wrong if I say that the vast majority of viewers were disappointed with the end of the series Game of Thrones. Its last season, the eighth, had a ending that did not leave many people, including me, satisfied. It could even be said that this disappointment in the fans of this series had already started since the 7th season. Some people are inclined to think that Daenerys is still sailing towards Westeros with her fleet and her 3 dragons, or that Game of Thrones ended there.
In this post I will at least try to "rewrite" the ending of the last season, season eight, shifting towards what I personally would like to have seen. Game of Thrones is a whole universe of characters and plots. Rewriting everything is a very complicated task for a post and for someone who is a simple content creator and not a TV scriptwriter, so I will surely leave many things out, although maybe you, dear reader, could add something in the comments.
What would your ideal ending for Game of Thrones be like...? Who ends up as a King/Queen?
I would like to start with Daenerys Targaryen during the long night in the battle against the dead and the Night King and from there we go all the way to the end Let's get started!
Jorah Mormont fiercely battles the dead outside Winterfell to protect his queen, Daenerys. Night ends, daylight arrives, and Jorah mourns the death of his cousin, Lyanna Mormont, at the hands of a giant in the Night King's army. Elsewhere, he is seen conversing with Sansa. Both are from the North, and she is seen willing to forgive him for his former crimes for which Ned Stark despised him. Tyrion joins the conversation.
On the return to Dragonstone, Jorah Mormont accompanies his queen, but he is seen a little distant, he has noticed the tension between her and Jon Snow, so he has decided to move away a little. Just as morale begins to diminish, another giant squid comes out of the water and catches one of Daenerys' ships with its tentacles, splitting it apart and sinking it in the process (Pirates of the Caribbean style). On that ship are some important characters, who are never seen leaving the water again. Defeat is imminent and after a third squid appears, they retreat. Tyrion, Missandei, Jorah Mormont and others manage to escape, but Jon Snow is captured.
Cersei doesn't quite know what to do with Jon Snow under her power. He's someone she might be better off with alive than dead. Besides, no one in King's Landing knows his true surname and right to the throne as Aegon Targaryen. Daenerys goes to the gates of King's Landing to negotiate with Cersei for release. Daenerys insists on her total surrender, but Cersei obviously does not accept such terms. Sansa orders the entire North to prepare for any war against Cersei, but Bran reveals to her in his visions that Jon Snow is not in danger.
Jon Snow's fate is uncertain, and this increases the imbalance and anger in Daenerys over recent losses. He could well be dead or Cersei would have discovered his true surname, using this to her advantage. Daenerys, impatient and frustrated by all that has happened, decides to fly alone to King's Landing with Drogon and take the red fortress by surprise with fire. But the bells rang, and Daenerys did what she did. King's Landing was destroyed by fire along with thousands of innocent lives. Jon Snow is held in a cell, safe and sound, but Daenerys is not in her right mind. Cersei's fate is uncertain.
Jon Snow doesn't know what's going on. He doesn't know or doesn't want to believe what Daenerys has just done. She, with a strange look, makes Jon believe that everything will be fine now and that they will be able to rule together. But, deep down, she thinks she has nothing to lose, the throne is there, very close, just a step away, and Jon more than an ally is a possible rival and obstacle to the throne of the seven kingdoms. "No more politics, be a dragon", whispers a voice in her head. In the middle of a reunion kiss, she attempts to assassinate Jon Snow with a dagger, but fails. Daenerys' body lies on the ground, and Jon can't believe what he's just done, though he finds himself strangely convinced he did the right thing.
Finally, the rest of the characters and the Northern army arrive at the capital along with the Dothraki and Unsullied. Before a confused crowd, Jorah Mormont appears carrying the body of his queen. After an awkward silence, the Dothraki become restless, but Jorah calms them by speaking to them in their language and Drogon appears to "calm" the atmosphere, and carry away the lifeless body of his mother. Jorah Mormont is acclaimed King of Westeros by the Dothraki and immaculates, to which the rest of the population and houses present had no major disagreement. Jon Snow goes to the North to live with the free people and Tyrion is selected as Hand of the King.
After several years of reconstruction and peace, Jorah Mormont dissolves his reign causing King's Landing to cease to be the capital of Westeros, and becomes known as "the last King". Each of the kingdoms becomes independent and live in peace with each other through commerce and free market. Westeros becomes a decentralized free kingdom. End😎.

Tyrion, Missandei, Jorah Mormont y otros logran escapar, pero Jon Snow es capturado.
Cersei no sabe muy bien qué hacer con Jon Snow bajo su poder. Es alguien que quizás le conviene mejor vivo que muerto. Además, nadie en King’s Landing conoce su verdadero apellido y derecho al trono como Aegon Targaryen. Daenerys acude a las puertas de King’s Landing para negociar con Cersei la liberación. Daenerys insiste en su total rendición, pero Cersei obviamente no acepta tales condiciones. Jon Snow se marcha al Norte a vivir con el pueblo libre y Tyrion es seleccionado como Mano del Rey.
Tras varios años de reconstrucción y paz, Jorah Mormont disuelve su reinado haciendo que King’s Landing deje de ser la capital de Westeros, y pasa a ser conocido como “el último Rey”. Cada uno de los reinos se vuelve independiente y viven en paz entre sí gracias al comercio y el libre mercado. Westeros se convierte en un reino libre descentralizado. Fin😎.

Este final me gustó un poco más, a mí tampoco me gustó el final de la serie, especialmente por esos huevos que no se taparon en la historia. Volviendo a tu final, ¿qué pasó con Sansa y Arya?
¡Saludos @universoperdido! pues como dije quedarían varios "Vacíos" por allí porque GoT es todo un universo en sí con gran cantidad de personajes.
Sansa la imagino de igual manera como la Reina del Norte por todo lo que pasó y la hizo madurar. Ella lo merece.
Por otro lado, Arya también la imaginé disfrazándose de Jaime Lannister o Petyr Baelish (meñique) con sus habilidades para ir a King's Landing y engañar a Cersei para luego acabar con ella. Pero ya luego de matar al Rey de la Noche y literalmente salvar al mundo, pues cualquier otra cosa que haga ella quedaría como "ya Arya hizo demasiado...".
Me gustó la idea de la serie de irse a explorar al mar nuevas tierras. Y por alguna razón, me imagino a Jaime Lannister yéndose con ella también en un barco, aunque en la serie este muere. Sería muy interesante una serie sobre ella en su exploración. Sería muy interesante también que ella llegue al otro lado de Essos, es decir, que no llegue a nuevas tierras sino a ese continente por otro lado. Entonces por allí llegaría a la misteriosa y oscura ciudad de Asshai, de donde proviene Melissandre (la que le dijo en el final "¿Qué le decimos al Dios de la Muerte? Hoy no").
Jajaja si se notó que Jorah fue tu personaje favorito. No me gustó este final tampoco. Para mí el Rey tenía que ser Jon Snow.
¿Calamar? Esta parte si fue muy imaginativa. Jajaja todavía no se que pensar de los calamares.
Muchos querían eso pero yo siempre voy a lo "menos esperado" jeje además me gusta mucho la idea de Jon Snow en el Norte y allí hacer una serie nueva que hable del origen de los caminantes blancos, o si de verdad fueron vencidos, porque se dice mucho que en realidad aún no ha terminado esa amenaza.

Creo que lo que más odie del final fue la muerte de Cersei abrazada de Jaime, espero tanto para ese momento y fue la muerte más nula del mundo jajaja Creo que cualquier final hubiese sido mejor que lo que hicieron, pero bueno...tocará seguir imaginando nuestros propios finales alternos para superar lo que le hicieron a la serie 🥲
Creo que de alguna manera en el final ya ni siquiera había una trama en King's Landing, solo lo mostraban por Cersei, y su muerte fue bastante "vacía" como dices. Jaime también tuvo un final un poco decepcionante. Saludos @lunaticanto!
