Hello everyone since Amazon Prime Video came out, it has given us incredible series and movies competing with Netflix and Disney + for this occasion I'm going to talk about a very unique series although when you see it you will say that it is another animated series of superheroes you are wrong, so if you have not seen it I encourage you to do it and stay to know more about Invincible.
Hola a todos desde que salio Amazon Prime Video, nos ha regalado series y películas increíbles compitiendo con Netflix y Disney + para esta ocasión les voy a hablar sobre una serie bastante única si bien al verla dirás que es otra serie animada de superheroes te equivocas, así que si no la has viste te animo a que lo hagas y quédate para saber mas de Invencible.
Analyzing the series:
Created by Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead) it is quite obvious that he put all his macabre wit when writing this series, because it can quickly change from innocence to brutality because he knows how to capture the attention of the public and always surprise them, the animation and rhythm in which the series develops is amazing, they make enough emphasis on blood, violence and sex being this something new in animated superhero series.
The series focuses on Mark's journey to become a great superhero like his father but as time goes by he begins to leave this idea aside and starts trying to be normal but this will be impossible because his father has big plans for him.
Creada por Robert Kirkman (The walking dead) es bastante obvio que puso todo su ingenio macabro al escribir esta serie, pues esta puede cambiar rápidamente de inocencia a brutalidad pues sabe como captar la atención del publico y siempre sorprenderlo, la animación y ritmo en que se desarrolla la serie es sorprendente hacen bastante énfasis en la sangre, violencia y el sexo siendo esto algo nuevo en series animadas de superheroes.
La serie se centra en el viaje de Mark para convertirse en un gran superheroe como su padre pero a medida pasa el tiempo comienza a dejar esta idea de lado y comienza a intentar ser normal pero esto le sera imposible pues su padre tiene grandes planes para el.
Character analysis:
- Mark Grayson / Invincible: Protagonist of the story and the second strongest superhero after his father obviously, we are presented as the typical normal high school boy who has an obsession with superheroes although everything seems ordinary in his life there is something unusual about him, his father is Onmi-man! Throughout his life he always felt pushed aside by his family because not having his powers he felt insignificant in comparison to his father as he kept reminding him that he had no powers when they finally woke up he gained an immediate confidence that encourages him to ask out Amber a pretty beautiful girl in his class, the pressure of his father and the heroic crossroads that lies ahead is exhausting for young Mark but being the son of the world's greatest superhero there is nothing impossible for this boy. He has super strength and speed plus an amazing regenerative ability which comes in quite handy as they keep beating him up he can also fly.
Mark Grayson / Invencible: Protagonista de la historia y el segundo superheroe mas fuerte después que su padre obviamente, se nos presenta como el típico chico normal de preparatoria que tiene una obsesión con los superheroes si bien todo parece ordinario en su vida hay algo inusual en el, ¡su padre es Onmi-man! Durante toda su vida siempre se sintió echado a un lado por su familia pues al no poseer sus poderes se sentía insignificante en comparación a su padre ya que el no dejaba de recordarle que no tenia poderes cuando finalmente despertaron gano una confianza inmediata que lo anima a invitar a salir a Amber una chica bastante hermosa de su clase, la presión de su padre y la encrucijada heroica que tiene por delante es agotadora para el joven Mark pero siendo el hijo del mas grande superheroe del mundo no hay nada imposible para este chico. Tiene super fuerza y velocidad ademas de una capacidad de regeneración sorprendentes lo cual le resulta bastante útil pues se la pasan dándole golpisas también puede volar.
- Debbie Grayson: Mother of Mark and wife of Nolan Grayson, her family is everything to her so she doesn't hesitate to reprimand her husband and son when they step out of line. Although she did not want Mark to get his powers because she understood very well the risks involved, she ends up giving in to her husband because she knows how to manipulate her, she loves him very much and does not mind talking about her sex life in front of her son, she is the first to notice his change of attitude and confront him, she was devastated to learn the truth about who her husband really was.
Debbie Grayson: Madre de Mark y esposa de Nolan Grayson, su familia lo es todo para ella por lo que no duda en reprender a su esposo e hijo cuando se pasan de la raya. Aunque no deseaba que Mark obtuviera sus poderes pues comprendía muy bien los riesgos que eso implicaba termina cediendo a su esposo pues sabe manipularla ama mucho a este y no le molesta hablar de su vida sexual frente a su hijo, es la primera en notar su cambio de actitud y confrontarlo, quedo destrozada al saber la verdad sobre quien era en realidad su esposo.
- Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man: He is the patriarch of the Grayson family and the strongest superhero in the world, in his civilian identity is a successful writer although he appears to be a loving father and devoted husband, the truth is much darker than that within him there is a total apathy towards humanity in addition to a surprising capacity for manipulation, For a long time he deceived everyone pretending to be a superhero when in reality he is a conqueror of worlds sent to earth to take over this one, he is a complete sociopath because he does not hesitate to deceive and manipulate his loved ones to continue with his plans besides murdering or putting innocents in danger to get what he wants. As contradictory as it may seem, she loves her son, who is the reason she left Earth, but it is not known if she also loves her husband, as he referred to her as "pet". She possesses the same powers as her son but due to Mark's immaturity he quickly surpasses him in strength.
Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man: Es el patriarca de la familia Grayson y el superheroe mas fuerte del mundo, en su identidad de civil es un escritor exitoso si bien aparenta ser un padre amoroso y esposo devoto, la verdad es mucho mas oscura que eso dentro de el se haya una apatía total hacia la humanidad ademas de una capacidad de manipulación sorprendente, durante mucho tiempo engaño a todo el mundo aparentando ser un superheroes cuando en realidad es un conquistador de mundos enviado a la tierra para apoderarse de esta, es un completo sociopata pues no duda engañar y manipular a sus seres queridos para continuar con sus planes ademas de asesinar o poner a inocentes en peligro para obtener lo que quiere. Por muy contradictorio que parezca quiere a su hijo siendo este la razón por la que se fue de la tierra no se sabe si también ama a su esposo pues se refirió a ella como "mascota". Posee los mismos poderes que su hijo pero debido a la inmadurez de Mark el lo supera rápidamente en fuerza.
- Samantha Eve Wilkins / Atom Eve: She is a superheroine friend of Mark, who helps him adapt to his life as a hero but when she finds out that her boyfriend is cheating on her, she suffers a crisis and begins to rethink her role as a heroine, deciding to leave her home and start doing direct humanitarian work around the world. She has the ability to manipulate the atoms around her.
Samantha Eve Wilkins / Atom Eve: Es una superheroina amiga de Mark, es quien lo ayuda a adaptarse a su vida como héroe pero al enterarse que su novio la engaña esta sufre una crisis y comienza a replantearse su papel como heroína decidiendo dejar su casa y comenzar a hacer labores humanitarias directas por todo el mundo. Tiene la capacidad manipular los átomos a su alrededor.
- Rex Sloan / Rex Splode: He is Atom Eve's jerk boyfriend, although he can be a complete idiot there are moments when he shows to be kind and good person, he suffers from severe inferiority complex because when Mark arrives he uses it as an excuse to cheat on his girlfriend with a teammate (Dupli-Kate) thus demonstrating his lack of confidence, although it is obvious that he still cares about Eve she can't forgive him. He can accelerate molecules to an unstable state, in other words he explodes whatever he touches.
Rex Sloan / Rex Splode: Es el novio patán de Atom Eve, si bien puede ser un completo idiota hay momentos en que demuestra ser amable y buena persona, sufre de severo complejo de inferioridad pues al llegar Mark lo usa como excusa para engañar a su novia con una compañera de equipo (Dupli-Kate) demostrando así su falta de confianza, si bien es obvio que aun se preocupa por Eve esta no puede perdonarlo. Puede acelerar las moléculas hasta un estado inestable en otras palabras explota lo que toca.
- Rudy Connors / Robot: He is the leader of the new nomination of guardians of the globe, being an android his actions are always linked to logic making him sound cold and emotionless but when he meets Monster Girl, his attitude begins to change becoming more sensitive and emotional, due to his growing feelings for her he decides to hire two villains to help him create his own organic body thus revealing that in reality he is a human being who transferred his mind to that of a robot. He has a cybernetic implant that allows him to control several drones at the same time besides having a genius intellect capable of solving any situation.
Rudy Connors / Robot: Es el líder de la nueva nomina de guardianes del globo, al ser un androide sus acciones siempre están ligadas a la lógica haciéndolo sonar frió y sin emociones pero al conocer a Monster Girl, su actitud comienza a cambiar volviéndose mas sensible y emocional, debido a sus crecientes sentimientos por ella decide contratar a dos villanos para que lo ayuden a crear su propio cuerpo orgánico revelando así que en realidad en ser humano que transfirió su mente a la de un robot. Posee un implante cibernetico que le permite controlar varios drones a la vez ademas de tener un intelecto de genio capaz de resolver cualquier situación.
- Amanda / Monster Girl: She is a member of the new guardians of the globe, although she has the appearance of a 13 year old girl but in reality she is an adult, her power not only turns her into a monster but also makes her younger and younger. She constantly receives teasing and offensive comments due to her condition and is unable to have normal relationships due to her girlish appearance. She quickly connects with Robot who has a similar situation and gets along well with Rex so Robot stole his DNA to make her clone. He can turn into a huge green monster which possesses incredible strength and endurance but can also be prone to anger so he can sometimes lose control.
Amanda / Monster Girl: Es miembro de los nuevos guardianes del globo, si bien tiene la apariencia de una niña de 13 años aunque en realidad es una adulta su poder no solo la convierte en un monstruo sino que también la vuelve cada vez mas joven. Constantemente recibe burlas y comentarios ofensivos debido a su condición ademas de no poder tener relaciones normales debido a su apariencia de niña. Conecta rápidamente con robot quien tiene una situación similar ademas se lleva bien con Rex por lo que Robot hurto su ADN para hacer su clon. Puede convertirse en un enorme monstruo verde el cual posee una increíble fuerza y resistencia pero también puede ser propenso a la ira por lo que aveces puede perder el control.
- Cecil Stedman: He is the director of the global defense agency, intimidating and cold appearance, has his priorities quite clear because for him there is no single path to justice and does not hesitate to use unpleasant and unethical methods in order to protect the earth and humanity. He takes under his tutelage the young Grayson when his father left the earth proving to be kind at heart, hard on the outside soft on the inside is the best way to describe him.
Cecil Stedman: Es el director de la agencia de defensa global, de apariencia intimidante y fría , tiene sus prioridades bastante claras pues para el no existe un solo camino para la justicia ya que no duda en utilizar métodos desagradables y poco éticos con tal proteger a la tierra y la humanidad. Toma bajo su tutela al joven Grayson cuando su padre dejo la tierra demostrando ser amable en el fondo, duro por fuera suave por dentro es la mejor manera de describirlo.
- Amber Bennett: She is Mark's romantic interest and later his girlfriend. She is a determined and strong-willed girl, at first she was annoyed by his constant lies and delays due to his identity as a hero but when he reveals his identity she doesn't surprise him by getting upset with him at the end after the battle with Omni-man she becomes an important ally for him. She likes to do volunteer and humanitarian service thus inspiring Eve as she really needed a direction and is quite perceptive and astute deducing Invincible's identity two weeks before he confessed it.
Amber Bennett: Es el interés romántico de Mark y posteriormente su novia. es una chica decidida y con bastante carácter, en un principio le molestaba las constantes mentiras y retrasos de este debido a su identidad como héroe pero cuando este le revela su identidad no le sorprende molestándose con el al final después de la batalla con Omni-man se vuelve una importante aliada para el. Le gusta hacer voluntariado y servicio humanitario inspirando así a Eve ya que realmente necesitaba una dirección ademas es bastante perspicaz y astuta deduciendo la identidad de Invencible dos semanas antes de que este lo confesara.
Conclusion:
Invincible is a pretty sweeping series as it is a unique journey of emotions, the team and cast that stars in it will give you hours of fun assured with two seasons in production is quite obvious that this series will give a lot to talk about, I hope you liked my post, do not forget to vote and leave your comment, until next time.
