Ive been highly critical when it comes to movies but when I am having a bad day.I always make sure to watch my feel-good movies and Blind Side is one of them.
It is a true to life story of a woman and her family who opened their house for Michael, A black huge boy with a very sad background who was admitted to a Christian school by the help of a lot of person but was left to the street on the process.I love that not all of the person from a very gruesome background end up hurting others and victimizing theirselves. He was helped but he helped himself first, He decided that he wanted an education and it applies that If you wanted to help, help yourself first.The first help comes from yourself, not from others. Then next we have to be able to receive help from others(and that is not an easy task first because of ego and second from the experiences that we have, its understandable that we become defensive.but its just either of the two or a combination)
With the situation where the place were polarized by red-necks, it is sure hard thing to do the things that they did.Going against the society's predetermined way of looking at things is a step up and a risk that is to be exemplified in real life.

This is a film that undoubtedly leaves many messages when we watch it carefully. Just as the boy was assisted by the family and learned a lot from them ...they as a family also learned from him.
Despite everything he went through he was a very good young man, he had good feelings and his instinct to protect others was immense.
I really like this movie too.
