TODO PARECÍA GENIAL PERO DESPUÉS SE FUE A LA MIERDA
Quizás el título te pareció un poco agresivo, pero vaya soy demasiado sincero y ese fue el sentimiento que me provoca está película, todo parecía pintar diferente, una trama policial con el gran detalle de un desastre natural en proceso y la idea de que todos esos ingredientes serían perfectos para una película explosiva.
Pero lamentablemente no, carece de ideas originales y una trama que pueda tener una idea clara de hacia dónde se dirige, como lo dije al inicio es de esos films que intenta hacer muchas cosas a la vez, pero no termina haciendo nada. Vemos un argumento que no tiene pies ni cabeza y se sujetan de las escenas de acción que no son malas, pero dejan mucho que pensar.
Vemos escenas donde (Mel Gibson) da la talla y genera en el espectador esa emoción, pero que solo dura muy poco, ya que la trama gira en torno a todos los personajes y el querer darle el mismo tiempo en escena a cada personaje nos deja un vacío en la historia que intentan desarrollar. Nada más incómodo e innecesario que generar situaciones o momentos que no dan valor a la trama como por ejemplo crear una química amorosa entre la doctora interpretada por (Kate Bosworth) y el oficial Cardillo que no daba ningún valor, al contrario se sentía forzado y generaba unas pausas que solo hacían la película más lenta.

We see a plot that has no head or feet and they hold on to the action scenes that are not bad, but leave much to think about.
We see scenes where (Mel Gibson) gives the size and generates in the viewer that emotion, but that only lasts very little, since the plot revolves around all the characters and wanting to give equal time on stage to each character leaves us a void in the story they are trying to develop. Nothing more uncomfortable and unnecessary than to generate situations or moments that do not give value to the plot as for example creating a love chemistry between the doctor played by (Kate Bosworth) and the officer Cardillo that did not give any value, on the contrary it felt forced and generated pauses that only made the film slower.
Eso solo es la punta del Iceberg, realmente no supieron aprovechar la idea principal y todo se les salió de las manos, creo que hacer estas películas y colocar un actor de gran importancia no es suficiente si la historia no impacta en el espectador como debería. Lo simple siempre genera agrado y hace que las cosas fluyan naturalmente, estamos en una época donde el espectador se aburre rápido y si la película tiene muchos fallos más rápido el espectador pierde interés.
MEL GIBSON PUDO HABER SALVADO LA PELÍCULA
Definitivamente si y es muy fácil de entender, en cada una de sus apariciones podemos conectar con el personaje y esperar que todo se resuelva sin mucho disparate, las escenas donde aparece Mel Gibson tienen más base y sentido que las demás, no abusan del personaje y cada punto o dirección que toma se enfoca en resolver la situación sin hacerla más complicada.
Siento que de haberle dado más tiempo en escena las cosas hubieran mejorado un poco más. Obviamente es una opinión personal. Lo cual no cambia la idea de los directores o guionista en desarrollar al personaje hasta un punto donde no fuera el centro de atención.

Tengo tiempo que no veo una película de acción que me deje con la boca abierta y eso se está haciendo muy normal, sobre todo en las películas bajo la sombra de Hollywood donde el copiar y pegar sigue siendo su fórmula base. Esto lo he repetido muchas veces en mis post, pero es la verdad casi siempre nos encontramos con películas poco originales y siempre con la misma idea base.
Nada nuevo ni arriesgado, siempre jugando a lo seguro, como amante de las películas esto no me causa ningún agrado y termino con mal sabor de boca, tendré que darle pausa a estas películas con sello americano y darme una vuelta por el viejo continente donde las cosas pintan distinto y se nota que le están echando ganas.

Ame la idea de un desastre natural acompañado de una situación poco común, pero el resultado no fue el esperado, mi calificación 6/10.
