Cuando quiero ver una película de miedo o terror psicológico siempre espero que me sorprenda con su trama y que de vez en cuando me haga saltar del sofá, esto siempre es clave para darme cuenta de que la película me ha impactado o por lo menos supo captar mi atención de inicio a final.
Hace poco vi una película que mostraba desde el inicio algo interesante, que no se parecía a nada que haya visto antes y la verdad mi curiosidad me mantuvo expectante y ansioso por saber como desarrollarían la película, que comparte un poco de cultura y un sentimiento digamos místico y oscuro con una gran comunidad alrededor del mundo.

Si durante la película en varias oportunidades tuve en mi boca la frase OH MI DIOS, no por ver escenas escalofriantes o llevarme una sorpresa inesperada, más bien por ver una manera distinta de hacer películas con ese estilo tan sencillo, pero que te mantiene en suspenso controlado es decir sabes que podría pasar, pero no te imaginas como ni cuando, eso es algo que me mantuvo enganchado, además por ninguna razón pensé que los personajes principales los fueran a desarrollar de una forma tan distinta y que fueran ellos lo que tuvieran la capacidad de enfrentar ese mal que estaba dentro de la casa sin perder la razón o caer en lo repetitivo de otras películas del mismo género.
Una de las escenas que más llamaron mi atención es cuando el personaje de Bol (Sope Dirisu) intenta convencer a las personas que le facilitaron la casa de que lo cambien de lugar, pero no puede decir nada, ya que pensaran que está loco y eso puede significar que los regresen a su país de origen, es una escena muy buena si se ponen en sus zapatos y por un momento piensan todo lo que debe pasar por su cabeza.

Tenía mis dudas sobre si está película tomaría ese camino donde todo ya está escrito y solo se debe rellenar los espacios para darle forma a la película y listo. Eso pensé desde que inicio, pero dio un giro radical ese pensamiento cuando note que la película no seguiría el formato común y más bien marcaría un punto importante al momento de mostrarnos hacia dónde piensa dirigirse.
Este tipo de películas donde un espíritu maligno está dentro de una casa y los habitantes de dicha casa suelen huir o llamar a alguien para que los ayude es lo que esperamos o estamos acostumbrados, pero aquí todo es diferente vemos como Bol y Rial enfrentan de manera distinta y con pensamientos más adaptados a lo que ellos sienten en el momento, pero que al final se dirigen hacia el mismo camino que es luchar o hacer frente a un ser sobrenatural.

En este punto quiero hablar un poco sobre los personajes principales que a través de ellos podemos ver dos situaciones totalmente diferentes que nos hacen dudar de que podrán salir de esta situación o simplemente esperar que uno traicione al otro. Y es que esto lo podemos notar en muchas escenas que nos muestran dos personas que puedan sentir amor uno por el otro, pero que tienen sueños o prioridades muy distintas.

Si aún no has visto está película te recomiendo que la veas y le prestes mucha atención a la parte cultural que lamentablemente no tocan a profundidad, pero que lo podemos ver dentro de la película, ya que toma un papel importante para entender un poco más sobre ella.
Muchas culturas al rededor del mundo saben o conocen a profundidad eso que conecta de alguna manera el mundo de los vivos y muertos que durante generaciones a pasado de comunidad en comunidad dejando esos misterios a la luz y que muchos no entendemos.

Esta es buena. Cuando la vi fue una buena sorpresa. Me gusto también el elemento social, la inmigración, el mismo racismo inherente en la sociedad francesa, incluso entre descendientes de inmigrantes. Escalofriante la escena de la protagonista en el parque con los chicos jugando, no hay nada mas aterrador que la realidad. El giro final de la historia me encanto, porque no lo vi venir. Una de las mejores movies de Terror del año pasado.
Si, la verdad si es fe esas que te dejan con la sangre fría, aquí el horror o terror no son el plato fuerte... Si no la historia que se esconde detrás de los personajes.
