I bring you another review, because I'm participating in the league created by our friend @wiseagent. More details on how to participate can be found here. This is the first week of the contest and we are already in its fourth edition.
Well, for this week, the rule is basically "Play that music" where we should not focus on exactly one film, but talk about a soundtrack that was unforgettable and maybe even more important than the film itself. My choice is "Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back" (1980). I hope you all like it and enjoy it.
When I read about this week's rules I confess that I really liked the theme because there are several soundtracks that have marked generations. Time may pass smoothly, but certain songs will remain eternal and, as was said before, even more than the film itself. The director for this classic Star Wars film is Irvin Kershner and the stars I cannot forget to mention are Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
Considered by many Star Wars fans as the best film in the franchise for having the characteristic of a film that shapes the concept of the entire saga. I confess that when I was young in the 2000s I kind of lost myself in the right order to better understand all the films at the time.
For "The Empire Strikes Back", we see the maturing of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), a silmple farmer tired of living a life without perspective for his future and that destiny radically changes his journey to become pilot and hero of the Rebellion and therefore on a Jedi Knight.
In this film we can also see Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) in her brilliant performance and I particularly like to see her action scenes and the adventures are countless. What about the legendary Han Solo (Harrison Ford) who at first was just a mediocre selfish person and then cared about the Rebel cause and had a romance with Leia.
The film also stands out in its battles with the classic X-Wing and Imperial Destroyers. Not to mention AT-ATs and a wide variety of other ships. Space battle scenarios are always a chapter apart and exciting.
But what would the Star Wars franchise be without its brilliant soundtracks? I will highlight for this review is that of the incredible composer John Williams with his "Imperial March" and it could not be for another classic character like Darth Vader.
I believe that the success of the franchise is due to the fact that the Imperial March was a trademark when we talk about the geek universe when it comes to Star Wars. Interestingly, this song, which is only instrumental, was used to be played at a wedding and in the United States it is quite common for bands to play football tournaments among young people.
Williams is a legend when it comes to epic themes like in the films Jurassic Park, E.T., Indiana Jones and Superman.
A soundtrack that went beyond cinema screens and that today and will always be part of the lives of millions of people, because like me certain songs are eternal in our minds and the Imperial March is a beautiful example of this. The emotion when touched is felt even in our soul.

Bem, para esta semana, a regra basicamente é "Play that music" onde nós devemos não focar exatamente em um filme, mas falar sobre uma trilha sonora que foi inesquecível e talvez até importante do que o próprio filme. Quando eu li sobre as regras dessa semana eu confesso que gostei muito do tema pois existem diversas trilhas sonoras que marcaram gerações. O tempo pode passar tranquilamente, mas certas músicas ficarão eternizadas e como foi dito antes, até mais do que o próprio filme. O diretor para a este filme clássico de Star Wars é o Irvin Kershner e as estrelas que não posso esquecer de mencionar são Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford e Carrie Fisher.
Considerados por muitos fãs de Star Wars como o melhor filme da franquia por ter a caracteristica de um filme que molda o conceito de toda a saga. Confesso que quando eu era jovem nos anos 2000 eu meio que me perdia na ordem correta para melhor compreensão de todos os filmes na época.
Para o "The Empire Strikes Back", vemos o amadurecimento de Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), um silmples fazendeiro cansado de viver uma vida sem perspectiva para o seu futuro e que o destino muda radicalmente sua jornada para se tornar piloto e herói da Rebelião e conseuentemente em um Cavaleiro Jedi.
Neste filme também podemos ver a Princesa Leia (Carrie Fisher) em sua brilhante perfomance e particularmente gosto de ver suas cenas de ação e as aventuras são inúmeras. O que dizer do lendário Han Solo (Harrison Ford) que no começo era epnas um egoísta medíocre para depois se importar com a causa Rebelde e viver um romance com Leia.
O filme também se destaca em suas batalhas havendo os clássicos X-Wing e Destroyers Imperiais. Sem esquecer dos AT-ATs e uma grande variedade de outras naves. Cenário de batalhas espaciais sempre são um capítulo a parte e emocionantes.
Mas o que seria a franquia de Star Wars sem as suas brilhantes trilhas sonoras? Irei destacar para esse review é a do incrível compositor John Williams com a sua "Marcha Imperial" e não poderia ser para outro personagem clássico como o Darth Vader.
Acredito que o sucesso da franquia se deve ao fato da Marcha Imperial ter sido uma marca registrada quando falamos algo sobre o universo geek se tratando de Star Wars. Curiosamente essa música que é apenas instrumental já serviu para ser tocada em casamento e nos Estados Unidos é bastante comum as bandas tocaremem torneios de futebol americano entre os jovens.
Williams é uma lenda se tratando de temas épicos como nos filmes Jurassic Park, E.T., Indiana Jones e Superman.
Uma trilha sonora que foi além das telas de cinema e que hoje e sempre fará parte da vida de milhões de pessoas, pois assim como eu certas músicas ficam eternas em nossas mentes e a Marcha Imperial é um belo exemplo disso. A emoção quando tocada é sentida até em nossa alma.
