When I saw this series had Doctor House (Hugh Laurie) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) as its main faces, I knew it had to be a good one. In this story, Hugh plays a very powerful gun dealer with a lot of contacts and resources to always have his own way. Tom's character, on the other hand, is just an ex-military guy who now works as a manager in luxury hotels.

One day, he has a horrible experience caused by some criminal but also very wealthy guests in the hotel, and this will create in him a deep resentment towards the people responsible for this tragedy. Years later, he has changed jobs and is now working in another hotel when suddenly, a known criminal face makes his appearance as a guest.

His old resentment will come roaring back to life, and he ends up being recruited by intelligence officers with the goal of infiltrating him in this criminal organization and leverage his insider information to bring everything down.

This is when his military past and training will come in handy. The plan to infiltrate them is not only successful but he also manages to earn the boss's trust. As he begins to spend more and more time with these people, he will learn that not everyone is happy belonging to this group.

His level of involvement in this organization's activities will become extremely high and naturally, some suspicion will always be present but his character manages to always appear spontaneous and authentic. He will face a lot of danger and his life will be at risk several times.

If you like crime thrillers then this series would be an excellent choice to watch. There are only 6 episodes but the story is very well written and acted. It has a proper ending and I am sure most people will have a good time watching this show.

The best

  • Excellent story with some intense moments and awesome performance from the cast.

The worst

  • The interaction between the crime boss and the night manager became repetitive at times. with the criminal guy saying things and the manager always making a sort of nervous laugh.

Man... you brought back some awesome memories to me right now. I really loved this one... absolutely awesome, fantastic, exciting... :)

If you enjoy this type of series I think you will have a good time watching Ozark on Netflix. It is not about infiltrated people but the excitement is similar.

I gave it a try once, but it wasn't love at first sight (at all). As a result, I quickly broke up and moved on!

With this mini series I fell in love with Elizabeth Debicki

I didn't know her but she did a fine job with her role haha.
