Have you seen zombie movies? Well, I think there is no one on earth who has not seen at least 2 minutes of a zombie movie or series, and since this genre began in the seventh art more than half a century ago, it has had a great impact and success where it has brought us good franchises like Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, I am Legend, WW Z, among many others. And the idea of the living dead looking for brains or thirsty for blood is something that attracts a large audience. So much so that even series or movies that have nothing to do with zombies, have launched their own versions of a zombie apocalypse as is the case of Marvel and its zombie universe.
Something that is also impressive about the zombie genre is that it is basically a bunch of people whose body parts fall off, but they have released thousands of stories and every day they release more, the most prominent are those that are out of the ordinary, as is the case of Warm Bodies, where for the first time we can see that a zombie is cured with the power of love.
But something that is very similar is the plots of these films, a zombie virus that infects all people that makes them die and begin to have a voracious hunger that destroys the entire human society. But the movie I want to discuss, although it is of the zombie genre, is completely out of the walking dead rule, as it presents something novel for a franchise that never dies. I recently saw a movie called The Odd Family: Zombie On Sale, which to be honest surprised me a lot since it completely departs from what is the Zombie genre in a certain aspect and tries to reinvent this genre of movies. ¿Has visto películas de zombis? Pues creo que no hay nadie en la tierra que no haya visto al menos 2 minutos de alguna película o serie de zombis, y es que desde que este género empezó en el séptimo arte hace más de medio siglo, ha tenido un gran impacto y éxito donde nos ha traído buenas franquicias como Resident Evil, The Walking Dead, Soy legenda, WW Z, entre muchas otras. Y es que la idea de muertos vivientes que buscan cerebros o están sedientos de sangre es algo atrae mucha audiencia. Tanto así que incluso series o películas que no tienen nada que ver con zombis, han lanzado sus propias versiones de un apocalipsis zombi como es el caso de Marvel y su universo de zombis.
Algo que tambien es impresionante del género zombi, es que básicamente es un montón de gente que se le caen las partes del cuerpo, pero que han sacado miles de historias y cada día sacan más, las más destacadas son aquellas que se salen de lo normal, como es el caso de Warm Bodies, donde por primera vez podemos ver que un zombi se cura con el poder del amor.
Pero algo que es muy similar es las tramas de estas películas, un virus zombi que infecta a todas las personas que hace que se mueran y comiencen a tener un hambre voraz que destruye toda la sociedad humana. Pero la película que quiero comentar, aunque es del género zombi, se sale completamente de la regla de muertos vivientes, ya que presenta algo novedoso para una franquicia que nunca muere. Recientemente vi una película llamada The Odd Family: Zombie On Sale, que siendo sincero me sorprendió muchísimo ya que se aparta totalmente de lo que es el género Zombie en cierto aspecto y trata de reinvertir este género de películas. The Odd Family: Zombie On Sale begins with a short introduction to Human, a pharmaceutical company that has released a remedy for diabetes, but it generates side effects and many people have complained about it, then we see the Gul family who work at a gas station as a self-service but cheating customers, we see the pharmaceutical Zombie boy who emerges from a ventilation outlet of the Human company and goes to the village where the Gul family gas station is located.
Then the father of the Gul family meets Jjong-bi, and the flesh-smelling Jjong-bi bites him, though only on the head, but then the Zombie escapes, but some time later he is found eating the rabbits of the Gul family's farm. But the next day, after a few hours have passed since the Zombie bit Father Gul, something totally unexpected happens and that is what makes this movie totally out of the box, and that is that instead of Father Gul turning into a rotting Zombie, he becomes young and full of life. But the problems start when Father Gul goes to brag to all his friends about his youth and vigor, so all his older friends want to pay him to become young too, but something happens that turns everything upside down. The Odd Family: Zombie On Sale comienza con una pequeña introducción a Human, una empresa farmacéutica que ha lanzado al mercado un remedio para la diabetes, pero que genera efectos secundarios y muchas personas se han quejado del mismo, luego vemos a la familia gul que trabajan en una gasolinera como autoservicio pero que hacen trampa a los clientes, vemos a farmacéutica el chico Zombie que emerge de una salida de ventilación de la empresa Human y se dirige hasta el pueblo donde está la gasolinera de la familia Gul.
Luego el padre de la familia Gul se encuentra con Jjong-bi, y este hediento de carne, le muerde, aunque solo en la cabeza, pero luego el Zombie escapa, pero tiempo después es encontrado comiéndose los conejos de la granja que la familia Gul tiene. Pero al día siguiente, luego que ha pasado unas horas desde que el Zombie mordió al padre Gul, sucede algo totalmente inesperado y que es lo que hace que esta película salga totalmente de onda, y es que en vez del padre Gul convertirse en un Zombie putrefacto, se vuelve joven y lleno de vida. Pero los problemas comienzan cuando el padre Gul va a presumir a todos sur amigos su juventud y vigor, así que todos sus amigos mayores le quieren pagar para tambien volverse jóvenes, pero algo sucede que hace que todo se ponga de cabeza. So instead of seeing disgusting undead looking for human flesh, you will see a lot of young people proud to have been bitten by a Zombie, something surprising since one would expect the worst if bitten by a Zombie. But of course not everything is rosy and everything changes quickly, but it is better that you see it to make your own opinion, but I am very sure that you will like this very good way in which the zombie movies are reinvented. One last thing I wanted to say, is that as it is a comedy movie, obviously you will see a lot of South Korean style comedy, you know, bad jokes, exaggerated screams and over acted scenes, but, although it may bother you at first, then everything makes sense and even if they don't do those exaggerated performances you don't understand the movie hahaha.

Así que en vez de ver muertos vivientes asquerosos buscando carne humana, veras a un montón de gente joven orgullosa de haber sido mordidas por un Zombie, algo sorprendente ya que uno esperaría lo peor si e mordido por un Zombie. Pero claro no todo es color de rosas y todo cambia rápidamente, pero es mejor que la veas para que saques tu propia opinión, pero estoy muy seguro que te gustara esta manera muy buena en la que se reinventa el cine de zombis. Una última cosa que quería decir, es que como es una película de comedia, obviamente veras mucha comedia de estilo surcoreana, ya sabes chistes algo malos, gritos exagerados y escenas sobre actuada, pero, aunque pueda molestar en un principio, ya luego todo cobra mucho sentido y hasta si no hacen esas actuaciones exageradas no entiendes la película jajaja.

Me gustan las películas o series de Zombies. Me llama la atención esta porque dices que tiene comedia, eso me gusta, la combinación de zombis y comedia. Es coreana, se como algunos chistes nos parezcan un poco malos jajaja y actuaciones con muchos gritos, pero en las coreanas no hay tanto grito como en las chinas, en las películas de ese país si hablan con mas gritos😆

He visto pocas películas de este estilo, aunque aquí, como la narras, se ve interesante y con un giro distinto al habitual.
Hey! Ciertamente las producciones coreanas tienen un estilo diferente, y al principio puede ser difícil la adaptación pero personalmente me he encariñado jeje... Hay muchas series y películas que son de mis preferidas, y siempre las recomiendo pero dejando claro que no es para todos.
Jajaja pero que es un filme con una propuesta interesantísima, tremenda y muy curiosa, nunca habia escuchado de zombificacion que te hiciera joven y hermoso, que idea tan ajena al medio zombie jajaja, la anoto, esta la tengo que ver, saludos :)
