Hello Hivers! Today I'm happy to be completing 2 active months on this platform that has given me so much. I have so much to thank life and @universoperdido for giving me the opportunity to meet this community. Every day I learn a lot more and I try to do what I like, so I enjoy my time here very much.
It's been 60 wonderful days, growing step by step and moment by moment, I can only keep striving to make better content every day and keep bringing positive things to the community.
To celebrate my 2 months in Hive I present this review of a film that impacted me for how explicit it is, although it is already a few years old and I saw it five years ago with a cousin, I do not forget the nightmare we lived with the protagonist of this story. The first thing I knew about this film was that it was a remake of a movie that had already been made in the 70's, so I started watching it without knowing what it was about.
The genre is horror but I would rather say that it is a criminal thriller, whose content has been one of the most shocking to me because of the violence and misogyny of its plot. Many may find it a bit predictable but the violence presented makes the viewer as thirsty for revenge as the protagonist. But I won't tell you more and let's discover together the most important aspects of this feature film.

Han sido 60 días maravillosos, creciendo paso a paso y momento a momento, solo puedo seguir esforzándome por hacer un mejor contenido cada día y seguir aportando cosas positivas a la comunidad.
Para celebrar mis 2 meses en Hive les presento esta reseña de una película que me impacto por lo explicita que es, aunque ya tiene algunos años y la vi hace un lustro con una prima, no olvido la pesadilla que vivimos junto a la protagonista de esta historia. Lo primero que supe de este film es que era un remake de una película que ya se había hecho en los 70’s, así que comencé a verla sin saber de qué trataba.
El género es de terror pero yo diría más bien que es una película de suspenso criminal, cuyo contenido ha sido de los que más me ha impactado por la violencia y la misoginia de su trama. A muchos quizás no les parezca un poco predecible pero es que la violencia presentada, hace que el espectador tenga tanta sed de venganza como su protagonista. Pero no les cuento más y descubramos juntos los aspectos más importantes de este largometraje.

I Spit on Your Grave is an American film released in 2010, which was directed by Steven R. Monroe, produced by Lisa Hansen, Paul Hertzberg and Meir Zarchi and distributed by Anchor Bay Films, Family of the Year Productions and CineTel Films respectively. It runs 1 hour 48 minutes and stars Sarah Butler, Daniel Franzese, Chad Lindberg, Jeff Branson, Rodney Eastman, Andrew Howard, Tracey Walter, Mollie Milligan and Saxon Sharbino.
The music was directed by Corey Allen Jackson, while Leil Lisk was in charge of the set design and Daniel Duncan of the editing. The cinematography was in the hands of Neil Lisk who shone during the development of the film.

I Spit on Your Grave o literalmente Escupiré sobre tu tumba o simplemente Dulce venganza en Latinoamérica es una película estadounidense estrenada en 2010, la cual fue dirigida por Steven R. Jennifer (Sarah Butler) is a modern writer who rents a cabin in the woods where she plans to get away from the world in order to write her new novel. On her way to the cabin she comes across a gas station where she manages to ask for the address where she will be staying and reveals her location with unusual innocence to Johnny (Jeff Branson) a guy she has just met.
This man is part of a group of five perverse men who will make Jennifer regret having gone there. Sheriff Storch is the leader, Andy (Rodney Eastman) is a voyeur, Stanley (Daniel Franzese) is the one who shoots the videos and the last one is Matthew (Chad Lindberg) a mentally handicapped man, whom the others treat as their pet. After many scenes with alarming noises outside the cabin, the men gain entry and terrorize the writer.
To do so they use obscene language and many weapons while they insinuate, play with their responses and enjoy the terror they inflict. It is a foreplay in which the main goal is rape, and they drag it out as long as they can. When the rape begins, it is the unfortunate mentally challenged Matthew who is forced by the others to go first. Storch, Stanley, Andy and Johnny repeat the rape and Jennifer is raped and abused in all the most despicable ways you can imagine and when you finally think it is the end, she manages to flee into the woods naked and almost dead, with her rapists ready to shoot and kill her Jennifer manages to throw herself off a bridge and disappear into the murky waters of a local river.
One by one she manages to take revenge on each of her executioners using methods so elaborate, bizarre and cruel that not even the most experienced writers could describe them.

Jennifer (Sarah Butler), es una escritora moderna que alquila una cabaña en el bosque donde piensa alejarse del mundo para poder escribir su nueva novela. De camino a dicha cabaña se encuentra con una gasolinera donde logra preguntar por la dirección donde se quedara y revela su ubicación con una inusual inocencia a Johnny (Jeff Branson) un tipo que acaba de conocer.
Este hombre es parte de un grupo de cinco hombres perversos que harán que Jennifer se arrepienta de haber ido allí. El Sheriff Storch es el líder, Andy (Rodney Eastman) es un voyerista, Stanley (Daniel Franzese) es el que graba los vídeos y el último es Matthew (Chad Lindberg) un discapacitado mental, a quien los demás tratan como su mascota. Después de muchas escenas con ruidos alarmantes fuera de la cabaña, los hombres logran entrar y aterrorizan a la escritora.
Para hacerlo utilizan lenguaje obsceno y muchas armas mientras insinúan, juegan con sus respuestas y disfrutan del terror que infringen. Es un juego previo en el cual el objetivo principal es la violación, y lo alargan todo lo que pueden. Cuando la violación comienza, es el infortunado deficiente mental Matthew quien es obligado por los demás a ser el primero. Storch, Stanley, Andy y Johnny repiten la violación y Jennifer es violada y vejada de todas las maneras más despreciables que puedas imaginar y cuando al fin piensas que es el final, logra huir al bosque desnuda y casi muerta, con sus violadores listos para disparar y matarla Jennifer logra tirarse desde un puente y desaparecer en las turbias aguas de un rio local.
Uno a uno lograra vengarse de cada uno de sus verdugos usando métodos tan elaborados, extraños y crueles que ni siquiera los escritores más experimentados podrían describir.
𝕸𝖞 𝕺𝖕𝖎𝖓𝖎𝖔𝖓
Rape is a crime of violence, not so much sex, and the rapist, whoever he is, usually enjoys the pain and fear of his actions more than the sex. The real terror of this film comes in its dialogue and the acts of harassment and sadism are so believable that you feel sickened by the end. The film succeeds, it is very well made. It is a film made by professionals.
An incredible leading lady and a cast committed to their roles, with incredibly violent and well done scenes. The first half of the film is an ode to misogyny and violence against women in an exacerbated way, a hurtful male vision that feels as if the director put too much moralism to an unacceptable situation. No one deserves to suffer the things our protagonist suffers, but no one has to harm another person through such a despicable and cruel method as rape either.
That's where it conflicts with the story, and the second part with the female vision of a victim seeking revenge makes it worse by using horrible methods but at the same time too implausible for a film that the first part of the plot manages to be repulsive.
𝕸𝖎 𝕺𝖕𝖎𝖓𝖎ó𝖓
La violación es un delito de violencia, no tanto de sexo, y el violador sea quien sea suele disfrutar más del dolor y el miedo que provocan sus actos que del sexo. El verdadero terror de esta cinta viene en sus diálogos y los actos de acoso y sadismo son tan creíbles que te sientes asqueado al final. El Film lo logra, está muy bien hecho. Es una película hecha por profesionales.
Una protagonista increíble y un reparto comprometido con sus papeles, con escenas increíblemente violentas y bien logradas. La primera mitad de la película es una oda a la misoginia y a la violencia contra la mujer de manera exacerbada, una visión masculina hiriente que se siente como si el director pusiera demasiado moralismo a una situación inaceptable. Nadie merece sufrir las cosas que nuestra protagonista sufre, pero nadie tampoco tiene que dañar a otra persona a través de un método tan despreciable y cruel como la violación.
Es allí donde entro en conflicto con la historia, y la segunda parte con la visión femenina de una víctima en busca de venganza lo empeora utilizando métodos horribles pero a la vez demasiado inverosímiles para una película que la primera parte de la trama logra ser repulsiva.
The film manages to keep you in expectation of what is going to happen, but it is true that it feels too predictable at some points. But it is still well made, even though it was despised by critics and the general public. I admire that a remake has been made of a movie that at the time did not work and was only controversial but above all I admire that it has been improved in many aspects even though the story is not among those aspects. The film was a flop both times but the remake managed to hold its own thanks to DVD distribution which has ensured a lot of sequels made with smaller budgets and equally despicable stories.
I can only recommend this movie if you like gore and extreme violence, I'm not that much of a fan of this kind of cinema but this movie is relatively bearable so I give it a 6/10.
La cinta logra mantenerte a la expectativa de lo que va a suceder, pero si es verdad que se siente demasiado predecible en algunos puntos. Pero no deja de estar bien hecha, a pesar de que fue despreciada por la crítica y por el público general. Admiro que se haya hecho un remake de una película que en su momento no funcionó y solo fue polémica pero por encima de todo admiro que se haya mejorado en muchos aspectos a pesar de que la historia no este entre esos aspectos. La película fue un fracaso en ambas oportunidades pero la nueva versión logró mantenerse gracias a la distribución en DVD lo que le ha asegurado un montón de secuelas hechas con menor presupuesto e historias igual de despreciables.
No me queda más que recomendarte esta película si te gusta el gore y la violencia extrema, yo no soy tan fanático de este tipo de cine pero esta película está relativamente soportable así que le doy un 6/10.

Wow! Esta película es brutal has revivido una época que no tiene comparación en mi travesía por el género de terror/suspenso, cuando vi está película me costó por un momento digerir las escenas de violencia sexual que de verdad eran muy desagradable en la época que vi está peli y me costaba pensar que el hombre podría ser tan sucio y animal como estos tipos.
Después de digerir todo, pude ver la luz al final del túnel y comprender que si a hierro mata a hierro muere y es una frase que queda como anillo al dedo en esta pelí. Me gustaría ver más historias que sepan desarrollar estas tramas tan brutales de la forma más pausada y sin caer en lo exagerado que en muchas oportunidades arruina un buen film.

La crítica en ocasiones sólo ve lo que otros quieran que vea, si le preguntas a un grupo de 10 Cinéfilos conocedores de seguro más de la mitad dirá que es una buena película, no la mejor pero si una de las buenas.
Un fantástico remake de un clásico. Este tipo de films pertenece a uno de los sub géneros de explotación, muy popular en lo setenta, específicamente al de "Rape y Revenge" Yo disfrute de la original en formato DVD. Esa primera versión en su momento fue polémica, incluso fue prohibida en algunos países y lograron verla muchos años después. Que afortunados somos en tener Internet, por si prohíben una película ahora, siempre podremos conseguirla en la web jajaja. El remake me encanto igual, este tipo de historias extremas son un manjar exquisito para mi. A nive de taquilla no funcionaron porque no es cine para las masas, pero dentro de los fans de estos sub géneros de horror, son películas de culto.
Totalmente, son películas de culto muy disfrutables. Yo la original no la ví,pero dicen que el remake es mejor y eso pocas veces suele suceder.
