Rescatando al Soldado Ryan es otra de las películas inspirada en la segunda guerra mundial que he visto que más me gusto, junto Hasta el último hombre y Pearl Harbor, donde muy pronto les compartiré mi experiencia con esta última, que sin lugar a dudas es mi favorita. Siguiendo con el tema que nos trae hoy, la película Rescatando al soldado Ryan tuvo su estrena el 24 de julio de 1998, es decir, ya hace 24 años y aún sigue teniendo mucho éxito en estos tiempos, y como no, si fue ganadora de premios Oscar debido a que es una película que estuvo bien realizada y con una historia que nos puede llegar atrapar más allá de que no sea uno de tus géneros favoritos en cuento a Film se refiere. A diferencia de las anteriores películas que compartí con ustedes, esta no fue basada en un hecho real como tal, pero si cuenta parcialmente lo que paso con el soldado Estado Unidense Frederick "Fritz" Niland, quien fue regresado a casa luego que sus tres hermano Edward, Preston y Bob murieron en batalla, aunque como les dije esta fue cambiada para darle más interés a la historia.

Unlike the previous films I shared with you, this one was not based on a real event as such, but it does tell partially what happened to the United States soldier Frederick "Fritz" Niland, who was returned home after his three brothers Edward, Preston and Bob died in battle, although as I said this was changed to give more interest to the story.
Antes de empezar hablar de la trama y mi experiencia con la película como tal, les debo decir que esta fue dirigida por Steven Spielberg quien hizo un excelente trabajo, tanto así que se llevó el Oscar como mejor director. Otros premios Ganado por el film Buscando al soldado Ryan fueron el Mejor Montaje, mejor fotografía, mejor edición de sonido, todos estos en los Oscars. Spielberg también ganó el premio de mejor director en los Globos de Oro, algo que confirma la destacada labor en esta producción de Hollywood y como las personas que tienen conocimiento de este mundo, saben que este es uno de los directores más reconocidos.
Before I start talking about the plot and my experience with the movie as such, I must tell you that it was directed by Steven Spielberg who did an excellent job, so much so that he won the Oscar for Best Director. Other awards won by the film Finding Private Ryan were Best Editing, Best Cinematography, Best Sound Editing, all of these at the Oscars. Spielberg also won the award for best director at the Golden Globes, something that confirms the outstanding work in this Hollywood production and as people who have knowledge of this world, know that this is one of the most recognized directors.
La trama de la película nos cuenta como un grupo de 8 soldados de EE.UU durante la segunda guerra mundial se van en búsqueda de un soldado llamado James Francis Ryan, todos estos dirigidos por el capitán John H. Miller. Antes de comenzar la búsqueda del soldado, vemos como pasan la escena de una los hechos más importantes de la segunda guerra mundial, que se conoce como el Desembarco de Normandía (Día D), que fue uno de los hechos más sangriento de la guerra y esto se puede observar en la película, tanto así podemos apreciar como mueren muchos soldados aliados, que incluso ni siquiera llegan a la playa, tan matados en los botes o en el agua ya sea ahogados o por impacto de bala. La verdad es que esta parte es la más impactante de la película y como vemos como la cámara se va moviendo junto los personajes, lo que le da mucho más realismo, teniendo así la sensación de estar en el sitio.

Luego vemos como ya luego de concretar la invasión y controlar la playa pasan como en el departamento de defensa de los Estados Unidos se dan cuenta que tres hermanos han muerto y hay un cuarto (Ryan), donde un general ordena que este sea rescatado y llevado nuevamente con su madre. Muchos critican el hecho de que se arriesgan la vida de 8 hombres por uno solo, puede que esto sea cierto, pero en la película se menciona que esto es hecho por la madre de estos jóvenes, pero como dice uno de los soldados en la película, "¿Quién piensa en nuestras madres?" entonces aquí es donde entra el debate. De igual manera la historia me gustó mucho en lo personal y me atrapó bastante así que al menos desde mi punto el objetivo fue logrado por parte del director y guionistas.

Many criticize the fact that 8 men's lives are risked for just one, this may be true, but in the movie it is mentioned that this is done for the mother of these young men, but as one of the soldiers says in the movie, "Who thinks about our mothers?" so this is where the debate comes in. Anyway, I personally liked the story a lot and it caught me quite a bit so at least from my point of view the objective was achieved by the director and screenwriters.
Otra de las cosas que hay que resaltar es que el elenco de esta película fue entrenado por veteranos de guerra de la segunda guerra mundial, lo que aumento aún más la calidad del trabajo por parte de la producción y dirección del film. Le mejor actuación para mí fue Tom Hanks quien fue que interpretó a capitán Miller. El logro de Hanks fue tal que me transmitió mucho tanto en las escenas de batallas, como en las escenas que debía mostrar sentimiento, como en la parte donde contó que tan solo era un profesor de escuela y además entrenaba a los pequeños cuando practicaban Béisbol, fue otro de los momentos que más me gustó de la película y no podía dejar de destacarla. Matt Damon fue quien interpretó al soldado Ryan, en lo personal no fue del todo de mi agrado, tal vez porque me conecte con los otros ya que los vi en la trama de principio a fin, en cambió Damon como el soldado Ryan salió casi en el final. También vemos la participación de Vin Diesel como el soldado Caparzo, quien tuvo una aparición muy corta. El trabajo del reparto creo que fue bastante bueno, pero siempre destaco que no soy ningún crítico profesional, todo lo comento es de mi experiencia vivida.

Esta película contó con muy buenos efectos especiales y más tomando que la misma fue lanzada en 1998, incluso esos efectos son mejores que muchas de las películas que salen en estos tiempos más allá del avance de la tecnología. Los uniformes fueron realizados igual que como los de la época de la segunda guerra mundial. Uno de los errores que me di cuenta fue el hecho que en la película se vieron los tanques tigres que eran muy temidos con los aliados, pero he visto documentales donde dice que estos no fueron usados en el desembarco de Normandía en Francia, pero como les mencioné al inicio la trama fue adaptada de tal que le agradará más la publico, objetivo que fue logrado por lo visto en la película y por lo premios obtenidos. Otra de las cosas que es sobresaliente es los temas musicales que se usan para los diferentes momentos de lucha con el enemigo y los emotivos, muy destacado el sonido de esta película.

Rescatando al soldado Ryan fue y sigue siendo en los tiempos actuales una excelente película sin lugar a dudas. Tal vez algunos críticos le pueden encontrar errores como le he leído, pero hay que entender en que año se lanzó la película, un factor que debemos tomar en cuenta y más si vemos cosas que no concuerdan en las películas actuales. La trama me gustó, me conecte con ella y la verdad es que no hubo un momento que me aburriera, la historia estuvo muy bien contada. La parte más impactante es el desembarco, ya que vemos muchos muertos, personas heridas sin partes del cuerpo, como el mar es rojo de toda la sangre que se derramó en ese día, fue uno de los hecho más sangriento que pasó en la segunda guerra mundial, así que muy bien adaptada a la película, ya que pasamos momentos de asombró, angostaría y nostalgia al ver todo lo que pasaba. En lo personal yo les recomiendo sin pensarlo dos veces esta película, la verdad que para mí es una de las mejores no solo del género, sino que todo hollywood, así que si no la has visto, espero que lo hagas muy pronto y nos cuentes tu experiencia. Le doy un 10/10 por la experiencia que tuve con este film.

Personally I recommend this movie without thinking twice, the truth is that for me it is one of the best not only of the genre, but all hollywood, so if you have not seen it, I hope you do it very soon and tell us your experience. I give it a 10/10 for the experience I had with this film.

Recuerdo que en mi epoca del soltero la veia mucho, recuerdo la pasaban por TNT, apagaba todo en la casa y veia la pelicula de lo mas entretenido, una pelicula que la repeti bastantes veces definitivamente bastante interesante y entretenida.

Este filme marcó un antes y un después en la forma en la que la guerra se representaba en pantalla, aunque es innegable que hay algo intrinsecamente emocionante en su concepto, es una realidad devastadora, con una cantidad de daño absurdo detrás y muchos traumas por delante. Técnicamente es impecable.
