Hablemos del cast, lo curioso de este cast es que es llevado a lo largo de las 10 temporadas en total de la serie y lo mejor es que cada temporada desarrollan un papel distinto. Jessica Lange en el papel de la hermana Jude, Sarah Paulson y Evan Peters interpretan los roles principales de la Hermana Jude Martin monja encargada de la institución mental de Briarcliff, Lana Winters periodista quien decide investigar en Briarcliff, y Kit Walker trabajador que luego fue acusado y llevado a Briarcliff. Tremendas actrices y actores pero no podemos olvidarnos de los personajes que aunque no fueron los principales marcaron a estos personajes principales los cuales son Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, y James Cromwell interpretan los roles principales de la Hermana Mary Eunice McKee monja ayudante de Jude, el Dr. Oliver Thredson psiquiatra recién adquirido en Briarcliff y el Dr. Arthur Arden doctor de la institución.

La serie estadounidense creada por Ryan Murphy y Brad Falchuk tiene en su segunda temporada el género terror, sobrenatural y drama psicológico fue estrenada el 17 de octubre del 2012 y finalizó el 23 de enero del 2013. Cuenta con 13 capítulos y en ellos podemos ver un especial de navidad. La temporada está ambientada en 1964, en la falsa institución mental "Briarcliff Manor", y cuenta la historia del personal y de los pacientes a su interior, intercalando eventos entre el pasado y el presente. La temporada se basa en que la periodista Lana Winters quién esta dispuesta a exponer los horrores que viven los pacientes de Briarcliff pero sufriendo desafortunadamente de ellos esta dispuesta a huir y enseñarle al mundo lo que ocurre en ese lugar además de desenmascarar al famoso asesino que lleva por nombre BloodyFace, además de ello vamos viendo la vida de cada uno de los pacientes y no solo de los pacientes sino de los trabajadores, las monjas e incluso el monseñor que está encargado del lugar. Todos ocultan algo, todos se esconden detrás de una fachada pero sus miedos vuelven para atormentarlos por sus acciones.

Comencé a ver american horror story: Asylum ya que me puse el reto de ver todas la temporadas de esta serie analógica. Según lo que había investigado antes de verla está es una de las mejores temporadas de la serie, lo cual al terminar de verla pude estar de acuerdo con ello, a pesar de no haber visto todas las temporadas aún puedo resaltar el maravilloso trabajo que se llevó a cabo en esta temporada, aún más terrorífica y oscura que su primera temporada, más explícita y cruda, cuenta con muchas escenas perturbadoras y no solo por el hecho de buscar al asesino llamado BloodyFace sino de otros personajes que ocultaron desde un principio lo que eran en realidad. Aunque a medida que veía los capítulos entraba en un estado de confusión y necesitaba analizar cada uno todos se complementaron al final, todo tuvo un gran cierre y de nuevo digo que fue una gran temporada. Todos en Briarcliff tienen algo que ocultar, todos fingen ser alguien que no son pero aún así tarde o temprano se iba a saber quién era quién. Una muy buena temporada con apariciones de personajes interpretados por famosos como Adam Levine, con canciones y momentos que no podrás olvidar y sobretodo personajes que te harán odiar cada pizca de ellos.
I started watching American Horror Story: Asylum because I set myself the challenge of watching all the seasons of this analog series. According to what I had researched before watching it this is one of the best seasons of the series, which when I finished watching it I could agree with it, despite not having seen all the seasons I can still highlight the wonderful work that was carried out in this season, even more terrifying and dark than its first season, more explicit and raw, it has many disturbing scenes and not only by the fact of looking for the murderer called BloodyFace but other characters who hid from the beginning what they really were. Although as I watched the chapters I entered a state of confusion and needed to analyze each one they all complemented each other in the end, everything had a great closure and again I say it was a great season. Everyone in Briarcliff has something to hide, everyone pretends to be someone they are not but still sooner or later it was going to come out who was who. A very good season with appearances of characters played by celebrities like Adam Levine, with songs and moments you won't be able to forget and above all characters that will make you hate every bit of them.
Intercalando el presente con el pasado esto va uniendo las piezas de este rompecabezas, va uniendo y va explicando el por qué de las cosas y situaciones que ocurren. Bastante cruda, escenas de mucha sangre, deformaciones, trauma psicologico y mucho más pero no hay que dejar de lado el tema religioso ya que está institución está a cargo de una iglesia. Monstruos, aliens y demonios. Sí, leyeron bien, aliens. Cuestionando su existencia, cuestionando a Dios y cuestionando la crueldad humana. Y aunque al principio pueda no ser muy claro luego podrás ver quién es el verdadero culpable y quién es el verdadero inocente en la historia. Cuando piensas que las cosas no pueden estar peor siempre siempre va a haber algo peor, dime, luego de tanta crueldad ¿puedes volver a ser humano?.
Interspersing the present with the past, this is putting together the pieces of this puzzle, it is uniting and explaining the why of the things and situations that occur. Quite crude, scenes of much blood, deformations, psychological trauma and much more but we must not leave aside the religious theme as this institution is run by a church. Monsters, aliens and demons. Yes, you read that right, aliens. Questioning their existence, questioning God and questioning human cruelty. And although at first it may not be very clear then you will be able to see who is the real culprit and who is the real innocent in the story. Just when you think things can't get any worse there is always going to be something worse, tell me, after so much cruelty can you ever be human again.

Yo recuerdo haber empezadoo a ver esta serie, pero no se porque deje de verla, se que queria verla, pero no se porque no continue y si estoy segura que contiene muchas imagines perturbadoras, unas de las que quise ver fue cuando aparecio Lady Gaga, siempre tuve la curiosidad de saber que fue lo que hizo en su aparicion
