6. Old Boy

Al momento de comenzar a verla me di cuenta que el sonido de mi pc no funcionaba y decidí verla así, sin sonido y con subtítulos; créanme, no tuve que escucharla para poderla disfrutar.
Es una película asiática que nos cuenta como es la vida de un hombre que después de estar encerrado 15 años, es liberado. No se sabe el porqué del secuestro ni el porqué de su liberación, de lo que único que podemos estar seguros es de que alguien con mucho poder lo controla y lo tortura, pero, ¿por qué?; ésta pregunta la hacemos los espectadores y el protagonista todo el tiempo, pero no se haya respuesta hasta que sucede lo peor.
La película es muy entretenida de ver, todo el tiempo estas pendiente a las pistas, porque todas pueden llevarte al causante de toda esta tortura, pero, el final fue un poco predecible para mi, pero se que para muchos será impactante y un poco turbio. No se le puede llamar feliz porque realmente la película se encarga de crear dudas acerca de lo que realmente sucede con el personaje cuando acaba todo.

7. Sin escape.

Una de las películas que más me ha puesto a sufrir por los personajes ha sido esta.
La trama es algo simple: trata acerca de una familia que por cuestiones de trabajo del padre, deciden cambiar de país por un tiempo; realmente todo marcha bien entre ellos, no hay ningún problema en sí, pero lo que ellos no saben es que en ese preciso instante hay una guerra entre el pueblo y el gobierno y ahí es donde todo se complica.
Por alguna razón el trabajo del padre se ve involucrado en este conflicto, en este puto la situación se pone tensa para la familia y deciden regresar a su país, pero, esto no le es permitido por los rebeldes ya que estos pretenden asesinarlos a todos. Desde este instante hasta que termina todo es cuestión de vida o muerte.
La película es frustrante por momentos, la lucha por sobrevivir de los personajes es algo que realmente afecta al espectador, pero aún así, la recomiendo a ojos cerrados.
8. Moebius.
Otra película asiática perturbadora y no apta para personas sensibles.
Moebius es una película muda (literal no se dice ninguna palabra) que nos muestra la historia de una familia disfuncional; un padre infiel, una madre desequilibrada mental y emocionalmente y un hijo que pretende tener todo lo que el padre tiene.
A medida que transcurre la película vamos viendo cual es la trama principal de ésta, nos muestra cómo se crea un trauma y lo que conlleva. En este caso el trauma fue creado por la madre y se desarrolla una parafilia, que para los que no saben, una parafilia es un comportamiento sexual donde se pretende llegar al orgasmo desviándose de las relaciones sexuales convencionales, las personas con este patrón de conducta buscan placer por lo general, fuera del coito.
Debo decir que para muchos y muchas puede ser inusual ver una película en la que no se mencione ni una palabra, pero ésta se encarga de reemplazar las palabras por actos muy explícitos y se entiende todo perfectamente. Veanla.

9. El curioso caso de Benjamin Button.

Como su nombre lo indica, es una película muy inusual pero a la que le tengo mucho cariño.
Protagonizada por Brad Pitt, el cual le da vida a Benjamin un niño que nace con una "deformidad" y que por ello, es abandonado en un hogar de paso.
Realmente la "deformidad" es mucho más extraña de lo que parece, pues Benjamin nace con arrugas y problemas del corazón, los cuales son muy comunes en la vejez, por ende lo que padece es un misterio.
A medida que pasan los años envés de envejecer, lo que hace es rejuvenecerse cada día más, lo cual le trae varias complicaciones para su vida, en el ámbito social, emocional y sentimental; a pesar de todo, esto no le impide enamorarse, divertirse y realizarse como persona, pero tampoco lo exime de ser rechazado y un blanco de burlas.
Una muy buena película con un final predecible, pero agridulce. Realmente la recomiendo ver.
10. Vírgenes suicidas.
Ésta es una película adolescente que nos muestra como es la vida de 5 hermanas que viven bajo el seno de una madre autoritaria y sobreprotectora, y de un padre manipulable y poco empático.
Aunque se ven como una familia perfecta, están muy lejos de serlo, pues todo el caos empieza cuando su la hija menor de la familia se suicida. Es entonces cuando se empiezan a hacer especulaciones acerca de la "mala vida" que las niñas llevaban y como eran infelices ahí.
Ningún comentario estuvo lejos de la realidad, las chicas no podían ser ellas mismas y eso las frustró hasta el último día de sus cortas vidas.
La película tiene un final predecible y triste, y a mi parecer nos muestra señales de alarma para poder actuar a tiempo en este tipo de casos.

When I started to watch it I realized that the sound on my PC was not working and I decided to watch it like this, without sound and with subtitles; believe me, I didn't have to listen to it to enjoy it.
It is an Asian movie that tells us about the life of a man who, after being locked up for 15 years, is released. The only thing we can be sure of is that someone with a lot of power controls him and tortures him, but why? This question is asked by the viewers and the main character all the time, but there is no answer until the worst happens.
The film is very entertaining to watch, all the time you're watching for clues, because all of them can lead you to the cause of all this torture, but the ending was a little predictable for me, but I know that for many it will be shocking and a little murky. It can't be called happy because the movie really creates doubts about what really happens to the character when it's all over.
7. No Escape
One of the movies that made me suffer the most because of the characters was this one.
The plot is rather simple: it's about a family that due to the father's work, they decide to change country for a while; everything is really going well between them, there is no problem, but what they don't know is that at that precise moment there is a war between the people and the government and that's where everything gets complicated.
For some reason the father's work is involved in this conflict, in this moment the situation becomes tense for the family and they decide to return to their country, but, this is not allowed by the rebels because they intend to kill them all. From this moment until the end everything is a matter of life or death.
The movie is frustrating at times, the struggle for survival of the characters is something that really affects the viewer, but even so, I recommend 100%.
8. Moebius.
Another disturbing Asian film not suitable for sensitive people.
Moebius is a silent film (literally no words are spoken) that shows us the story of a dysfunctional family; an unfaithful father, a mentally and emotionally unbalanced mother and a son who pretends to have everything the father has.
As the film progresses we see what the main plot of the film is, it shows us how a trauma is created and what it entails. In this case the trauma was created by the mother and a paraphilia develops, which for those who do not know, a paraphilia is a sexual behavior where the intention is to reach orgasm by deviating from conventional sexual relations, people with this pattern of behavior usually seek pleasure outside of intercourse.
I must say that for many it may be unusual to see a movie in which not a word is mentioned, but this one replaces words with very explicit acts and everything is perfectly understood. See it.
9. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
As its name suggests, it is a very unusual film but one that I am very fond of.
Starring Brad Pitt, which gives life to Benjamin, a child born with a "deformity" and therefore, is abandoned in a foster home.
Actually the "deformity" is much stranger than it seems, because Benjamin is born with wrinkles and heart problems, which are very common in old age, so what he suffers from is a mystery.
As the years go by, instead of getting older, what he does is to get younger every day, which brings several complications to his life, socially, emotionally and sentimentally; however, this does not prevent him from falling in love, having fun and fulfilling himself as a person, but neither does it exempt him from being rejected and a target of ridicule.
A very good movie with a predictable, but bittersweet ending. I really recommend watching it.

This is a teen movie that shows us the life of 5 sisters who live under an authoritarian and overprotective mother, and a manipulative and unempathetic father.
Although they look like a perfect family, they are far from it, because all the chaos begins when the youngest daughter of the family commits suicide. That's when speculations start to be made about the "bad life" the girls were leading and how they were unhappy there.
No comment was far from the truth, the girls could not be themselves and it frustrated them until the last day of their short lives.
