A veritable geyser of internet shit erupted yesterday, all (again) by TLoU. I was pissed about it myself, but only one scene really pissed me off. It doesn't matter much from the perspective of the episode, I could even defend it, but I can't help but involuntarily disgust myself. And before some leftist says crap that I'm homophobic - nothing like that. Yes, I make fun of them, but I make fun of everything and I don't see anything wrong with that as long as I'm not laughing in someone's face about their problems. I've seen quite a lot of gay movies about love between guys and the act itself doesn't disgust me. I understand that it was supposed to look like this (in the sense of "naturally raw"), because the game was like that and life itself is like that, only naive people (i.e. the majority) think that the delusion of security we have is permanent. Buahahaha, no. If some cataclysm happens, e.g. the sun will emit a super-duper strong magnetic wave that will fire everything that conducts electricity, transistors, etc. and there will be a bigger crisis than now, people will immediately return to the standard settings (at least partially). I also understand that if you don't have what you like, you like what you have. I have experienced this many times, both in painful examples that I do not wish on anyone, and in those that affect each of us. You may be disgusted, but you'd be surprised how many of us men would exhibit similar behavior if, with the help of Thanos' gauntlet or Dragon Balls, we changed our world to the one of TLoU. As I wrote in the text about Netero vs Meruem, which I will publish at the latest on Thursday, humans have unlimited potential to evolve and adapt. Read for yourself how people who were far from ancient civilizations / large countries ate, you may be surprised. For several years I was lonely and sad, so I fully understand both gentlemen. What I can't understand is why they portrayed their first kiss so badly. It was just tasteless to me, at the same time the girl and I looked at each other saying "what the fuck?!". If there were 1, preferably 2 suggestions (one, say, while we were watching Bill, before he met his future husband, the other after they met), then I would have absolutely no complaints about it. There were none, and for 35 minutes, I was unable to concentrate. I watched with one eye, recorded critical comments for friends on Messanger, as well as we complained with a girlfriend.
That said, I gave the second half of the episode a chance once the feeling of embarrassment was gone. And you know what? It was really beautiful, even with minor "buts". I don't know the game, but from what I read in the comments, everything in the game, i.e. the whole thread, was better justified - for example, how did it survive so long. After all, in such realities as the state does not work and there are various groups that set the law on their own, it is enough for one man to report such a well-supplied guy who by some miracle took food for several years. They'd go with a sniper, get the job done with one shot, that's it. Love between two people, no matter what gender they are, is always beautiful. Aside from the first scene, IMO every subsequent kiss scene wasn't that unnatural (I mean they kissed too quickly, which could have been better portrayed). On the contrary, I felt the feeling between them develop and go through stages. I saw how they gradually changed their character and attitude towards the environment, and at the end when I watched their wedding, I was close to tears and angrily complained to the creators that they could have done it much better. Pity. I'm not going to abandon the series because of that, because the overall was good and if only they presented the beginning more naturally, I wouldn't complain. And yes, I know, that was the intention of the developers, but ... well, they could have done better.
In the end, it ended like in every situation of this type. The left began to call critics idiots who did not understand anything (rightly to some extent and I agree with them), but also exaggerated, because some did not have homophobic arguments, but simply pointed out mistakes. The right, on the other hand, said that it would not return to this series, that another woke-ism destroyed another series ... Well, if they don't exaggerate with it, I don't mind.
Wczoraj wybuchł istny gejzer z gównem w internecie, wszystko (znowu) przez TLoU. Sam się na to wkurzyłem, ale wkurzyła mnie tak naprawdę tylko jedna scena. Nie ma ona dużego znaczenia z perspektywy odcinka, mógłbym ją nawet obronić, ale nie jestem w stanie powstrzymać mimowolnego obrzydzenia. I zanim jakiś lewicowiec powie bzdurę, że jestem homofobem - nic z tych rzeczy. Tak, żartuję z nich, ale ja żartuję ze wszystkiego i nie widzę w tym nic złego, tak długo jak nie śmieję się komuś w twarz z jego problemów. Widziałem dość dużo filmów z gejami, o miłości między facetami i sam akt mnie nie brzydzi. Rozumiem, że to miało tak wyglądać (w sensie tak "naturalnie surowo"), bo gra taka była i w sumie samo życie takie jest, tylko naiwni ludzie (czyli większość) myśli, że ułuda bezpieczeństwa jaką mamy, jest trwała. Buahahaha, nie. Jeżeli stanie się jakiś kataklizm, np. Słońce wyemituje super-duper silną falę magnetyczną, która skopci wszystko, co przewodzi prąd, tranzystory etc. i będzie większy kryzys niż obecnie, to momentalnie ludzie powrócą do standardowych ustawień (przynajmniej częściowo). Rozumiem też, że jak się nie ma co się lubi, to się lubi co się ma. Doświadczyłem tego wiele razy, zarówno na bolesnych przykładach, których nie życzę nikomu, jak i takich, które dotykają każdego z nas. Możecie się obrzydzać, ale zdziwilibyście się, ilu z nas, mężczyzn, by przejawiało podobne zachowania, gdyby za pomocą rękawicy Thanosa lub Smoczych Kuli, zmienić nasz świat na ten z TLoU. Jak napisałem w tekście o Netero vs Meruem, który opublikuję najpóźniej w czwartek, ludzie mają nieograniczony potencjał do ewolucji i dostosowywania się. Poczytajcie sobie, jak działali i co jedli ludzie, którzy byli daleko od dawnych cywilizacji / dużych państw, możecie się zdziwić. Przez kilkanaście lat byłem samotny i smutny, więc w pełni rozumiem obu panów. Czego nie mogę zrozumieć, to tego, czemu tak źle przedstawili ten ich pierwszy pocałunek. Był dla mnie po prostu niesmaczny, jednocześnie z dziewczyną spojrzeliśmy na siebie mówiąc "co kurwa?!". Gdyby była jakaś 1, a najlepiej 2 sugestie (jedna powiedzmy, w czasie jak obserwowaliśmy Billa, zanim ten poznał swojego przyszłego męża, druga jak już się zobaczyli), to nie miałbym wobec tego absolutnie żadnych zarzutów. Takich nie było i przez 35 minut, nie byłem w stanie się skupić. Oglądałem jednym okiem, nagrywałem krytyczne komentarze dla znajomych na Messangerze, jak również narzekaliśmy z dziewczyną.
To powiedziawszy, dałem szansę drugiej połowie odcinka, gdy uczucie żenady już zniknęło. I wiecie co? To było naprawdę piękne, nawet mimo drobnych "ale". Nie znam gry, ale z tego co czytałem w komentarzach, w grze wszystko, tj cały ten wątek, był lepiej uzasadniony - np. jakim cudem tyle przetrwał. Przecież w takich realiach, jak państwo nie działa i są różne grupy, które same ustalają prawo, wystarczy że jeden człowiek by doniósł o tak dobrze zaopatrzonym facecie, który jakimś cudem brał żywność przez kilkanaście lat. Pojechaliby ze snajperem, załatwili sprawę jednym strzałem i tyle. Miłość między dwoma ludźmi, nie ważne jakiej są płci, zawsze jest piękna. Pomijając pierwszą scenę, to IMO każda kolejna scena pocałunku, nie była taka nienaturalna (chodzi mi o to, że zbyt szybko się pocałowali, co można było lepiej przedstawić). Wprost przeciwnie, czułem jak uczucie między nimi się rozwija i przechodzi przez kolejne etapy. Widziałem, jak stopniowo się zmieniają swój charakter i nastawienie do otoczenia, a pod koniec jak oglądałem ich ślub, to byłem bliski łez i ze złością narzekałem na twórców, że mogli to zrobić znacznie lepiej. Szkoda. Serialu nie zamierzam przez to porzucać, bo overall było dobrze i gdyby tylko przedstawili początek bardziej naturalnie, to bym nie narzekał. I tak, wiem, taki był zamiar twórców, ale... no cóż, mogli to zrobić lepiej.
Finalnie zakończyło się jak w każdej sytuacji tego typu. Lewica zaczęła wyzywać krytyków od idiotów, którzy nic nie zrozumieli (do pewnego stopnia słusznie i zgadzam się z nimi), ale też przesadzili, bo niektórzy nie mieli homofobicznych argumentów, tylko po prostu wytykali błędy. Prawica natomiast, mówiła że już nie wróci do tego serialu, że kolejny woke-izm zniszczył kolejny serial... Cóż, jeżeli nie będą z tym przesadzali, to nie przeszkadza mi to.
