And finally, some information about the games. Ok, this practice happens, and personally I don't see anything wrong with this happening for small games or those that won't necessarily sell (or, it's a high-risk project - like "Baldur's Gate" 3 for example). "The Witcher", however, is not such a brand, and CDProject is still well perceived, despite the fact that with "Cyberpunk 2077" it is not the first time that they shit on the dignity of their clients. And what's going on? For free game testing. While free beta tests are not a new idea (it was already in the 90s, if not before), the lack of AT LEAST reimbursement of transport costs, especially in the case of a large company, is outstanding crap.

Nie jestem zdziwiony, w okolicach 5 sezonu przewidywałem, że niedługo się skończy, bo powoli zbliżają się do wydojenia marki do końca. Podjęli dobrą decyzję - zamykamy główny wątek w kolejnym sezonie, ale jeżeli ludzie nadal będą chcieli, to będziemy im dawali spin-offy. Bardzo popieram, lepiej rozstać się na dobrym poziomie niż tworząc gówno.

Ok, taka praktyka się zdarza i osobiście nie widzę nic złego, jak coś takiego się dzieje w przypadku małych gier lub takich, które niekoniecznie się sprzedadzą (względnie, jest to projekt dużego ryzyka - jak "Baldur's Gate" 3 np.). "Wiedźmin" jednak taką marką nie jest, a CDProject nadal jest dobrze postrzegany, mimo że swoim "Cyberpunk 2077" nie po raz pierwszy nasrali na godność swoich klientów. A o co chodzi? O darmowe testowanie gier. O ile darmowe beta testy to nie jest nowy pomysł (to było już w latach '90, jak nie jeszcze wcześniej), o tyle brak PRZYNAJMNIEJ zwrotu kosztów transportu, zwłaszcza w przypadku dużej firmy, to jest wybitne dziadostwo.
