(1) What is your favorite genre and why? Cite specific examples of movies that you liked the most in that particular genre.
Actually, to answer that question, I have to admit that I watch any genre of movies that catches my eye, but the genre I never see is Horror. I love the Romance genre, like the movies: Titanic, Ghost, Life is beautiful, Forrest Gump, Gone with the Wind, Armageddon and finally, my favorite and the one I never tire of seeing: Pretty Woman.

This girl lives the fairy tale that every woman dreams of having, her prince who rescues her from all her problems and gives her confidence and security in life. Although Vivian is a street girl, she wants to stop being one and Edward offers her that bridge so that she can jump to another world.

The film ¨Azul y no tan Rosa¨ is cataloged as one of the best Venezuelan productions, it won a Goya award for ¨Best Latin American film in 2013.

The film tries to teach the value of respect for other people who do not think the same as one, not to discriminate against them because of their sexual orientation, social condition, religion, ethnic origin and addresses the issue of gender violence.
(3) Who are your favorite villains in movies or TV series and why?

Maleficent, played by actress Angelina Jolie. The film is based on the tale of Sleeping Beauty, where the king's daughter, Aurora, will be pricked by a needle when she turns 15 and will enter a dream that only the kiss of true love can break the spell.
But the plot of this film takes a different turn, when Maleficent becomes fond of Aurora and does not know how to reverse the curse. But this time it is not the prince's kiss who wakes up Princess Aurora, but the kiss that Maleficent gives the princess with great love.

En realidad, para contestar esa pregunta, tengo que admitir que veo cualquier género de películas que me llame la atención, pero el género que no veo nunca es el de Terror. El género Romántico me encanta, como las películas: Titanic, Ghost, La vida es bella, Forrest Gump, lo que el viento se llevó, Armagedón y por último, mi favorita y la que no me canso de ver: Mujer Bonita.
Esta chica vive el cuento de hadas que toda mujer sueña con tener, su príncipe que la rescata de todos sus problemas y le brinda confianza y seguridad en la vida. Aunque Vivian es una chica de la calle, ella quiere dejar de serlo y Edward le brinda ese puente para que salte a otro mundo.
Investigando para este concurso, encontré algunas curiosidades que de seguro no conocemos.
1.- El título original de la película sería ¨3,000¨ , por la escena donde Edward le ofrece a Vivian 3,000 dólares por acompañarlo unos días.
2.- Entre los temas de la película hay 3 extractos de la Opera La Traviata de Giuseppe Verdi.
3.- El tema en piano que toca Richard Gere en el lobby del hotel, fue compuesta e interpretada por él.
4.- En la escena donde Vivian ve la serie de televisión ¨I Love Lucy¨, Julia Roberts no es capaz de sonreír fácilmente así que debieron hacerle cosquillas en los pies y poder conseguir las carcajadas para la escena.
5.- Los actores principales, originalmente eran Al Pacino y Michelle Pfeiffer. Al Pacino, renunció al papel principal y Michele Pfeiffer consideró humillante su papel.
(2) ¿Cuál es la mejor película de tu país y por qué?
La película ¨Azul y no tan Rosa¨ está catalogada como una de las mejores producciones Venezolanas, ganó un premio Goya a ¨Mejor película hispanoamericana en el 2013.
La película trata de enseñar el valor al respeto por las otras personas que no piensen igual que uno, a no discriminarlas por su orientación sexual, condición social, religión, origen étnico y aborda el tema de la violencia de género.
(3) ¿Quiénes son tus villanos favoritos en películas o series de televisión y por qué?
Maléfica, interpretada por la actríz Angelina Jolie. La película se basa en el cuento de la Bella Durmiente, donde la hija del rey, Aurora, al cumplir sus 15 años será pinchada por una aguja y entrará en un sueño que solo el beso del verdadero amor podrá romper el hechizo.
Pero la trama de esta película toma un giro distinto, cuando Maléfica se encariña con Aurora y no sabe como revertir el maleficio. Pero el beso del príncipe no es esta vez quien despierta a la princesa Aurora, sino el beso que Maléfica le da con mucho amor a la princesa.
