Jungle Cruise es una película de Disney que normalmente no me llamaría la atención, pero al ver su portada algo me llamo la atención, pidiéndome que la viera, descansando de las cosas que usualmente puedo ver que me dejan pensando o analizando demasiado, podía ser un bonito respiro, solo eso, así que hice caso a ese llamado y me vi esta maravilla de dos horas de duración.
Primero, es una película para toda la familia, no es necesario que tenga "Huecos argumentales" que tenga fallas de lógica o demás, solo necesita entretener, como el principal objetivo de las películas, así que dejando a un lado mi lado lógico, hablare de lo que me maravillo de esta película. Para empezar, el personaje principal, la Dra. Lily, es un personaje femenino fuerte, con gran determinación, rompiendo estereotipos de las mujeres en el año donde pasan los acontecimientos, no es estresante, pedante, gritona ni malcriada, es un personaje bien hecho y serio que da una buena representación de las mujeres como protagonistas.
Su hermano, McGregor, aunque en la película se le veía en contra de las cosas que estaba sucediendo y se la pasaba quejando, no es tampoco un personaje que se pueda llegar a odiar o simplemente no soportar, se puede decir o sentir que simplemente ese no es su hábitat y lo entiendo completamente, sin la necesidad de ser demasiado quejón, luego de un rato revela que es gay sin que afecte su comportamiento ni que exista algo importantemente revelador ante esa escena, lo que me parece muy bien hecho dado que en otras participaciones de personajes de la comunidad LGBT puede estar muy envuelto ese tema sin que tenga que ver mucho con la trama y a muchas personas puede molestar.
La inclusión del feminismo y de la comunidad LGBT es sutil y bien hecha, no se ve forzada como pueden ser vistas en otros lugares reconocidos como aquella escena de End Game, tratar temas de manera sutil para que se vea normal, es la manera en como al menos yo, veo que se logre la normalidad de las mismas. Aparte de la película tiene un increíble cast, se puede ver demasiadas caras familiares, dándote confianza al llegar a verla porque conoces a ese actor o actriz.
La historia es entretenida, se desenvuelve lentamente pero sin ser aburrida, sabiendo aun cual será el final uno puede quedarse para ver como resulta todo, llegue a pensar que se basaba en algún libro pero solo se basa en una atracción de Disney World. Pude leer que Dwayne Johnson comentó que estaban pensando hacer una secuela, dado que la historia puede dar para más, siendo de aventura y fantasía, me gustaría ver más de esto, una trilogía de esto no estaría mal ¿Ustedes que opinan?
Jungle Cruise is a Disney movie that would not normally attract my attention, but when I saw its cover something caught my attention, asking me to see it, resting from the things that I can usually see that leave me thinking or analyzing too much, it could be a Nice respite, just that, so I heeded that call and saw this two-hour wonder.
First, it is a movie for the whole family, it is not necessary that it have "plot holes" that have logic flaws or others, it only needs to entertain, as the main objective of the films, so leaving aside my logical side, I will talk of what I marvel at this movie. To begin with, the main character, Dr. Lily, is a strong female character, with great determination, breaking stereotypes of women in the year in which events happen, she is not stressful, pedantic, screaming or spoiled, she is a well-made character and serious that gives a good representation of women as protagonists.
His brother, McGregor, although in the film he was seen against the things that were happening and he kept complaining, he is not a character that can be hated or simply not supported, it can be said or felt that simply that It is not his habitat and I understand it completely, without the need to be too complaining, after a while he reveals that he is gay without affecting his behavior or that there is something importantly revealing in front of that scene, which seems to me very well done given that in Other participations of characters from the LGBT community can be very involved that issue without having much to do with the plot and many people can bother.
The inclusion of feminism and the LGBT community is subtle and well done, it is not forced as they can be seen in other recognized places such as that scene from End Game, treating issues in a subtle way to make it look normal, is the way in which at least I, I see that the normality of the same is achieved. Apart from the movie has an incredible cast, you can see too many familiar faces, giving you confidence when you get to see it because you know that actor or actress.
The story is entertaining, it unfolds slowly but without being boring, even knowing what the end will be, one can stay to see how everything turns out, come to think that it was based on a book but is only based on a Disney World attraction. I could read that Dwayne Johnson commented that they were thinking of making a sequel, since the story can give for more, being adventure and fantasy, I would like to see more of this, a trilogy of this would not be bad.
