In this film what we see is a rather complex situation and speaking from my personal experience, it brings up many emotions and sensations, I myself felt chills, even anxiety, restlessness.
Hoy traigo una recomendación para aquellos que son capaces de masticar hielo, para estas personas que muerde un helado, porque no es algo tan fácil de presenciar.
En esta película lo que vemos es una situación bastante compleja y hablando desde mi experiencia personal, trae a flote muchas emociones y sensaciones, yo misma sentía escalofríos, incluso ansia, inquietud.

To begin with, it is a film by Yorgos Lanthimos so we are not going to use reason, we only play a role in this film and that is to observe, we are not going to look for logic, so just hold on to your seat.
Do you know the Greek tragedy of Iphigenia? In fact, it's mentioned in the movie, well, it's an inspiration and even though everything is so "metaphorical" we can understand it after only 30 minutes of watching the movie.
Para empezar es una película de Yorgos Lanthimos así que no vamos a usar la razón, nosotros solo cumplimos un rol en esta película y es obsevar, no vamos a buscar lógicas, así que solo aferrate a tu asiento.
¿Ustedes conocen la Tragedia Griega de Ifigenia de Aulide? De hecho, es mencionada en la película, bueno, es una inspiración y a pesar de que todo es tan "metafórico" podemos entenderlo solamente con 30 minutos de ver la película.

The first scene is not something easy to see, at least not for me since we see an open heart surgery, I hope I'm right and this is the way to say it, at the beginning that we are advancing in the first part of the movie that scene doesn't seem to make sense to be there but we should never judge the movie or the path it will take. I tell you that this movie revolves around Steven who is a Doctor, his family and Martin.
La primera escena no es algo fácil de ver, al menos no para mí ya que vemos una cirugía a corazón abierto, espero que esté en lo correcto y esto sea el término, al principio que vamos avanzando en las primeras parte de la película esa escena no parece tener sentido el estar ahí pero nunca debemos juzgar la película o el camino que tomará. Les comento que esta película gira en torno a Steven que es un Doctor, a su familia y a Martin.
Martin is a young man who recently lost his father, I'm not sure I think in the movie it's been 6 months since the loss of his father, he's also a young man who seems to have psychological problems, we don't know how it happened but this young man and Dr. Steven seems to have a close relationship, at first it seemed strange to me in the movie because Martin demanded too much attention from Dr. Steven but then at some point it becomes clear that it was like some kind of fatherly relationship, but really these close-up scenes between these two I find it somewhat uncomfortable to watch and I think that is also the intention of the film, that you are always feeling something.
Martin es un joven que ha perdido a su padre recientemente, no estoy segura creo que en la película son 6 meses desde la perdida de su padre, también es un joven que parece tener problemas psicológicos, no sabemos cómo pasó pero este joven y el Dr Steven parecen tener una relación cercana, al principio me parecía algo extraño en la película porque Martin demandaba demasiada atención del Dr. Steven pero luego en algún punto queda claro que era como una especie de relación paternal, pero realmente estas escenas de acercamiento entre estos dos se me hace algo incómodo de ver y creo que esa también es la intención de la película, que siempre estés sintiendo algo.
We see that Dr. Steven's life seems to be all in its right place, until Martin starts demanding and demanding and demand a lot of attention and we see him very frustrated by it.
And while all this is happening, one of Dr Steven's relatives suddenly gets sick, yes, suddenly and from then on, Dr Steven's life only goes downhill, and we see all his emotions, we see that he is a person who is not capable of being rational and we even see his lack of responsibility, frustrations..
Vemos que la vida del Dr Steven parece estar todo en su lugar correcto, hasta que Martin empieza a demandar mucha atención y lo vemos muy frustrado por eso.
Y mientras todo eso pasa, uno de los familiares del Dr Steven se enferma repentinamente, sí, así de repente y desde ahí toda la vida del Dr Steven solo va en bajada, y vemos todas sus emociones, vemos que es una persona que no es capaz de ser racional e incluso vemos su falta de responsabilidad.
The interesting thing is to see what happens after this, everything is so stressful, uncomfortable, not easy to watch, it makes us shudder, and the worst thing is actually the end because everything escalated to a scene that I couldn't even imagine, it was quite stressful to watch but at the same time you have to admit that this movie really was a great job.
In the end I didn't tell much of what happens in the movie because it's really not something you should ruin by telling it, it's better to see it.
Lo interesante es ver lo que pasa después de esto, todo es tan estresante, incómodo, nada fácil de ver, nos hace tener escalofríos, y lo peor de hecho es el final porque todo escaló a una escena que ni siquiera lo pude imaginar, fue algo bastante estresante de ver pero al mismo tiempo hay que admitir que realmente esta película fue un gran trabajo.
Al final no conté mucho de lo que sucede en la película porque de verdad que no es algo que debas arruinar contándola, es mejor verla.
