Lo primero que tengo que decir aquí es que no tengo ni la menor idea en lo que se refiere a términos o cuestiones de financias, en ciertas partes de la película no entendía nada de lo que estaban diciendo, por lo que las explicaciones para dummies me sentaron de maravilla, llegándome a gustar mucho y a divertirme, gracias a ellas entendí gran parte de los problemas, aunque debo ser sincero que volví a ver esta cinta después de lo ocurrido en Reddit y Gamestop, jajaja.

En la escena inicial sale Ryan Gosling dando una pequeña introducción, pero sobre todo, comenta acerca de la jerga financiera y como esta fue creada con el objetivo de hacer sentir tonto a la persona que esta del otro lado, para que así no haga muchas preguntas y esos buitres puedan hacer lo que les plazca con tu dinero, siempre con el mismo objetivo, poderte engañar y llenarse los bolsillos sin importarles que pase con tu dinero.

Metiéndonos mas en la película en si, es una muy buena producción, con actores de mucho renombre y con buenas actuaciones, resaltando el trabajo de Christian Bale y Steve Carell, ademas de contar con apariciones de ciertas estrellas como Selena Gomez o Margot Robbie, quienes explican ciertos términos de economía de una manera muy sencilla, aunque a veces por cuestiones de guión no sirve para mucho.

Y esto último podría ser el gran problema de esta cinta (aunque para mi no lo es del todo, pues me gusta que me pongan a pensar), pues el guión es tremendamente difícil de digerir, y no solamente por las palabras técnicas poco entendibles, sino que ademas intentan pintar a los protagonistas como "los buenos", pero a pesar de que sabían que la economía mundial iba a caer, no hicieron nada para evitarlo, siendo casi igual que "los malvados bancos".

Al fin del día, lastimosamente, todos somos parte del culto religioso del dinero y muchos defendemos a capa y espada la ideología del capitalismo salvaje, donde el mayor fallo que tiene es que ve a todas las personas como simples números, pero lo que es mas triste aún, es que en este nuevo mundo de constante movimiento, es uno de los pocos sistemas que mantiene este mundo a flote, sino miren el caso de mi país, Venezuela.

Cuenta también con un humor negro muy bueno, que te hará reír de vez en cuando, suavizando un poco todos los diálogos, ademas te aseguro que no podrás quitarle la mirada al ojo de Christian Bale, jajaja. Por ultimo, no puedo dejar de mencionar el ritmo de la película, que es atrapante, nunca se detienen demasiado, aunque a veces puede ser un poco acelerado, sobre todo por la velocidad de los diálogos y no me caería mal un break de unos segundos para organizar todo en mi cabeza, jajaja.

En conclusión, es una película que recomendaría a ciegas a casi cualquiera, prestando un poco de atención, y tal vez retrocediendo un poco cuando no entendamos algo, iremos entendiendo todo, y aun mas importante, nos familiarizaremos con el "lenguaje" de los bancos para no perder nuestro dinero tan fácilmente.
