Un adinerado empresario, que se encuentra en una crisis por su viejez, decide agrandar su legado y contribuir a la sociedad, por ello toma la decisión de financiar una película que revolucione el cine y la época. Con eso en mente contrata a la mejor directora del momento junto con los actores mas respetados, todo va bien hasta que la rivalidad del elenco amenaza la integridad de la obra.

Creo que ya lo he mencionado antes en el Blog, no veo mucho cine español, el acento me molesta un poco. Sin embargo, últimamente le estoy dando otra oportunidad a ese mundo y sus obras. En ocasiones te sorprende y en otras te decepciona pero vale la pena intentarlo, además expandir nuestros gustos no esta nada mal.
Al inicio de esta película no tenia muchas expectativas formadas, la elegí al azar y tampoco me tome el tiempo de leer su argumento, así que estaba algo curiosa por saber que pasaría y los caminos que tomaría la trama al irse desarrollando la historia. No lo negare, me gusto, fue interesante y entretenida, además me hizo plantearme un interrogante, que como aficionada al cine no había pensado. ¿Cuando termina realmente una película? esta pregunta no es parte del conflicto o tema principal de la cinta, pero la mencionan y me hizo reflexionar.
Aquí se retrata un poco sobre el mundo del cine, la elaboración de las películas y como pueden ser algunos artistas en el medio, así como también sus relaciones con otros profesionales de este tipo. Todos sabemos que el mundo laboral es competitivos, en especial este trabajo, ya que otorga alto reconocimiento a los que logran triunfar en él, lo que eleva la rivalidad entre colegas y maximiza el ego de muchos individuos, no pienso encasillar a todos en esta descripción pero es una realidad que sucede.
También podemos ver reflejado la extravagancia de algunos artistas, así como las singularidades de puede tener un director, que impulsados por lograr una obra perfecta o que trasmita lo que ellos desean, pueden sobre limitar sus acciones u orillar a un actor a puntos insospechados. El cine es arte, y como todo arte, nace de las emociones humanas, emociones complejas que para ser exteriorizarlas muchos hacen lo imposible, por ello algunos artistas pueden ser muy particulares con su obra.
El conflicto principal de la película es la rivalidad entre ambos actores, que son opuestos en casi todos los sentidos, desde su personalidad hasta las técnicas que usan para actuar. Los dos son ampliamente conocidos en la industria. Sin embargo, llevan carreras muy distintas, uno es comercial, del tipo de actores que no solo ve las películas como un medio de expresión sino también de entretenimiento y comercio, en cambio, el otro es metódico, que solo ve el cine como arte y a la masa consumidora como ignorantes. Aun así, ambos son iguales en el fondo, pues aunque lo nieguen desean ser como el otro ya sea por admiración o envidia. Teniendo una dupla de esta forma era obvio que las cosas se iban a salir de control y así fue. Ver la confrontación de los protagonistas fue interesante, ambos encajan en estereotipos contrarios y los representan.
A pesar que todos los problemas sean producto de las confrontaciones de los dos actores principales, se puede sumar la interacción de la directora, quien con sus exigencias poco amigables, fomenta el conflicto y alarga la batalla de egos en la producción, lo que es muy contraproducente. La directora es la definición de artista incomprendido, es muy buena en lo que hace pero sus acciones tienen un costo.
Algo que me gusto fueron las tomas, las actuaciones y el montaje, hubieron varias situaciones divertidas y se sentían orgánicas, al igual que la interacciones entre los personajes, en especial entre los actores, ya que su pelea no es directa o inmediata, es sutil y aumenta de a poco, cosa que es mas realista pues muchos de los conflictos en un trabajo son pasivos. También hay cierta parodia y critica hacia ambos sectores de la industria lo que es interesante.
Una cosa que no me gusto, en lo personal me parece algo lenta para tratarse de una comedia. También hay escenas que me parecen demasiado largas, que se muestran con el fin de aumentar la incomodidad de los personajes y hacer reír al espectador. Sin embargo, para mi solo lograron incomodarme.
Me encanto el final, me agarro de sorpresa los minutos previos al fin, nunca espere que la situación escalara hacia ese extremo y mucho menos de la forma tan rápida que sucedió. Gracias ese hecho, mi opinión de la cinta cambio totalmente, es como una inyección de adrenalina en el ultimo momento o golpe en la cara, no te lo imaginas.
Si soy sincera, la película que ellos hacían dentro del filme, me llamo mucho la atención, su trama y final son muy interesantes, no me quejaría ver algo sobre eso.
En conclusión, si recomendaría el filme, en especial si te gusta el mundo del entretenimiento o estas vinculado con el, seguramente te sentirías identificado con algunas de las situaciones.

I think I've mentioned it before on the Blog, I don't watch much Spanish cinema, the accent bothers me a bit. However, lately I'm giving that world and its works another chance. Sometimes it surprises you and sometimes it disappoints you but it's worth a try, plus expanding our tastes is not bad at all.
At the beginning of this movie I didn't have many expectations, I chose it randomly and I didn't take the time to read its plot, so I was a little curious to know what would happen and the paths that the plot would take as the story developed. I won't deny it, I liked it, it was interesting and entertaining, it also made me ask myself a question, which as a movie buff I hadn't thought about. When does a movie really end? This question is not part of the conflict or main theme of the film, but it is mentioned and it made me reflect.
It portrays a bit about the world of filmmaking, the making of films and how some artists can be in the medium, as well as their relationships with other film professionals. We all know that the world of work is competitive, especially this job, as it gives high recognition to those who succeed in it, which raises the rivalry between colleagues and maximizes the ego of many individuals, I do not think to pigeonhole everyone in this description but it is a reality that happens.
We can also see reflected the extravagance of some artists, as well as the singularities of a director, who driven to achieve a perfect work or that transmits what they want, can over limit their actions or push an actor to unsuspected points. Cinema is art, and like all art, it is born of human emotions, complex emotions that many do the impossible to externalize, which is why some artists can be very particular with their work.

Something I liked were the shots, the performances and the editing, there were several funny situations and they felt organic, as well as the interactions between the characters, especially between the actors, as their fight is not direct or immediate, it is subtle and increases little by little, which is more realistic as many of the conflicts in a job are passive. There is also some parody and criticism of both sectors of the industry which is interesting.
One thing I didn't like, personally I find it a bit slow for a comedy. There are also scenes that seem to me too long, which are shown in order to increase the discomfort of the characters and make the viewer laugh. However, for me, they only made me uncomfortable.
I loved the ending, it caught me by surprise the minutes before the end, I never expected the situation to escalate to that extreme and much less in the fast way it happened. Thanks to that fact, my opinion of the film changed completely, it's like a shot of adrenaline at the last moment or a punch in the face, you can't imagine.
If I'm honest, the movie that they made inside the film, called my attention, its plot and ending are very interesting, I wouldn't complain to see something about it.
In conclusion, I would recommend the film, especially if you like the world of entertainment or you are linked to it, surely you would feel identified with some of the situations.

He tenido esta película en espera, su reseña y opinión me incentiva sobretodo cuando dice que el final le sorprendió, merece la oportunidad. A mi no me gusta mucho Penélope Cruz, creo que es el motivo en no verla.
Bueno yo no soy fan de ella, pero me parece buena actriz. Aunque las actuaciones de cada uno son muy buenas
