Rio (2011) - Review: “una gran película que sabe sacarle provecho a su localidad”

BgxWBRxjvNho1d5owNvLc9kLkZETgqoQLu9zcBbNBbDDEp9W4DbuZJuea5hW8Z4gQPP9E8pYBW8piSv7bctRTiXwhT8CqYbgEpj3TstAhzrCrd6fW92L6PhvVU3Rp1w838k7w5SiehHMHs9ieDGdXxZ7FcHxUwF4VzdnEtMmGLihVEN.jpeg

Keeping the point that this movie knows how to take advantage of its location, I love to see that "Brazil" is not only used as a form of marketing (as we have seen in several animated films) but they really know how to use characteristic elements of this country and use them in favor of the development of each character and the story in general, I love that they show us the good and the not so good of this country and all this supported by an excellent story. As for the plot, I must admit that if someone tells us what the movie is about, it might seem indifferent or basic, because at first glance the plot is not something extremely new or anything like that, but what gives this movie its originality is the way they carry it out, and how they use elements (such as music) to give rhythm to the film and if it feels quite fresh.

Enola Holmes 2 (Review) - Social Criticism or Investigation Movie?

PB8ro82ZpZP35bVGjGoE93K3E4U5KX8KtMBJ2rhDpwEx2Q19JuCUf9BTY8nzZFikz6NMPS6uvFRbW7g7x3VKu4BRHjcDzL4scAWJMvprgsgBnxai.png

Now let's talk about what I didn't like, the first thing is the social criticism, as I said before, the world is full of criticism propaganda. Newspapers, social networks, even in the family you can hear this, and the truth is something senseless. For example, Enola's film tries to give a message of social criticism, that women can do the same as men, but if we look at it from a broad point of view we see that this makes no sense. In this century and year that we are in, women and men have the same rights, they can work in the same job and each one can do what they want with their lives. That is like someone fervently fighting that the earth is flat, in the midst of such detailed scientific advances and that from space itself man has been able to see with his eyes that the earth is spherical.

Me Time (film): Just terrible. It might be time for Kevin Hart to take a break

8SzwQc8j2KJaU8qHAcKjqiTgimHvPAM75RP53d4vXVn35HB3fYL1ji7n1Fr5h8cYVfCS2ZW8VXSPzeKFd1WsahLoZd3PEAprzng3Zg8v4YyU4p9nG62.jpeg

I find most of Kevin's movies to at least be entertaining or at the minimum, bearable but this one was a bit too much for me. I think that Kevin may be fast approaching the end of his welcome as far as making a dozen movies a year is concerned and in many ways this might have been a wise move on his part. Strike while the iron's hot, as they say. Will Ferrell did this years ago and there is a reason why he doesn't really do very much anymore. He kind of wore out the audience and nobody really wants to see him in movies now. I suppose if you can make $100 million in 5 years that one shouldn't really care if they are still producing quality content and that is exactly what this movie feels like. I didn't laugh at all during the movie. I never even came close to doing so. In fact, I ended up skipping large portions of the movie because it's just stupid. I can't really even blame this on Mark Wahlberg but it certainly didn't do much for his career either. Me Time currently enjoys and 8% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and has been met with almost exclusively negative reviews.

Romance is a Bonus Book | Series Review

FUkUE5bzkAZT3HzV5tJDiU2ik81PCd4JCyhWnRcDN8XJsVFY3UNB8DCZ5NgMDFPPnNAXzyHHLVDRmaMtZMg2j5J5YstTJe4FvozrgRPJFqvzWcYD7FtitCXgaeW9vrPKJKQexMEpjkEhJYwmB6QtHnJYQ1C4ALwxeUBX.gif

It is my turn to express the emotional way in which the suffering of the protagonist of the story is glimpsed, it is overwhelming and also enveloping. Something that I like a lot in the whole story is the persistence of the protagonist, she goes from interview to interview looking for a job and most of them reject her because of her age, her inactivity and the lack of updating her knowledge. This happened to me once, but the issue was different, I went to many job interviews last year for a month, and in all of them they told me the same thing: you are overqualified, and you must have 3 or 5 years of experience, even though I was only 24 years old, sometimes they are not rational! Even so, I did not give up, that same thing happened in this K-drama, that is to say, the protagonist persevered and all this perhaps happened because the person she decided to be with was not the right one. We got married to have a partner, a person to trust, and to enjoy life, not for her to be dedicated to be attentive to the food, or the home. People should respect and always give the best of ourselves in this aspect.

After Life | Love beyond death

YpihifdXP4WNbGMdjw7e3DuhJWBvCw4SfuLZsrnJYHEpsqZFkiGGNCQ9XZZwv7NqJRinGVsZJQukVkENCWki96ewtLsorLU42odbDJYqjsm8ZcmDJChoVt9C5yDae27uA4mJxRqdaP8mpFc2LtwHw8baRVAdd4i868MeUWsw162S.png

Taking on the subject of grief is not easy and I think that somehow it was quite good in the series. The ease with which the actor cried, made you connect with some scenes, but also the laughter, sarcasm and all the emotion presented in After Life. Honestly I recommend that if you have gone through a loss or are not emotionally stable, it is best not to watch this series even though it has comedy in it. The reason is because the theme of suicide is always present and can affect people. Maybe I'm being a little exaggerated, but I always like to take the necessary precautions. Our life can change in many ways when a person we love dies. Routines change, the things we do change, especially the things we were used to doing together. It is a difficult process of adaptation to find new things to do, to connect with oneself. For that reason I say that I have connected with the series, these last two years I had connected with my mother to such an extent, that we did many activities together and then when she passed away, it feels that something take away that beautiful part that we were used to do every day, but life goes on, if you stay stagnant, then you are one step away from falling into a dead end abyss.

[WEEK 1] Christmas Movie Recommendation: Chistman Under Wraps 🎅

FUkUE5bzkAZT3HzV5tJDiU2ik81PCd4JCyhWnRcDN8XJsVFY3UNB8DCVGrYWZTRnNR47HZtwWDj12F8cyiiaZLuuFUr3LHhFQ84znFFnNE4zFhBLg3pnoaY2b6DQMu456MSEQX9Xzv8o1U27y74dgj6B27pShbJNEnxd.gif

Now, Why do I like this movie? First because it shows some nice Christmas atmospheres, then because it teaches us that there are many plans we can have, but that God will always lead us to fulfil a purpose and take us on a path where we can be useful to other people, to teach us that there are more important things than material things, professional achievements, fame. It is important to know that there are simpler things that can make us immensely happy and that changes are always for the better.
