Each character is more outrageous and miserable than the last and the worst thing is that they gather in a church to distill their venom. They believe they are right in everything they think, backing themselves up with nonsense data they heard from unreliable sources and obviously blaming their personal miseries on foreigners when in reality, the blame for their misfortunes lies with themselves and no one else.

It is known that there are hypnosis therapies that help to face diverse problems but it is also true that in television programs I have seen psychics that with only giving an order to a person this one can act and do whatever. Look that I am a little open minded but I don't know if I can assimilate if that is possible. The thing is that this film is more or less about that, about how powerful the mind can be to have absolute control not only of a person but of an entire society. The plot is confusing, you get to understand it but you have to swim in a sea where every wave is a plot twist, that is, what you thought it was five minutes ago is no longer so and so you go. Action movies with strong hints of drama are one of the studios' favorite choices when they want to bring a well-known personality to the general public. This time, Netflix decided to invest in a singer who is quite popular, and who already has a history of a few movies in her career, but who this time, has not delivered anything that is proposed on paper. Before that, the error is in the script itself, which prevents any actor or actress from doing a good job because there is an obvious limitation in terms of development throughout the projection. This is an example.

The show also doesn't even have a minute amount of wokeness to it that is just so omnipresent in almost anything that Netflix and other studios make these days. Kudos to Paramount and MTV (surprisingly) for allowing us to have some entertainment without trying to program or re-educate us as to how we should be running our own lives.

The photography and special effects are spectacular, I also really liked the personification, makeup and costumes of all the characters, especially the sailors, but my favorite is Úrsula because she looks a lot like her animated version and well, although all the other characters were 100% changed. They don't look bad either, although I still say that Ariel's race change is really homophobic for 2 reasons, one is because redheads represent less of the world percentage so they are taking away their princess and, by putting the little brunette mermaid because " there are fewer dark-haired princesses in Disney" (which is completely false, since there are several dark-haired princesses but I think only 1 redhead) I also consider it racist because it can be considered that they are doing the forced inclusion out of pity for dark-haired people, and also because they consider them inferior and "poor things", this is racism to me. As for the rest of the story, I liked it a lot because, despite the fact that there were many changes, they respected the story and original dialogues a lot and the soundtrack is masterful, I really love Halle's voice, the changes in the songs are few and the new songs are very beautiful, although I didn't like that they made Ariel sing a song while it is mute, because in my opinion it breaks the spell.

Finally the day has arrived ! this is one of the most awaited movies of the year, and I had the honor to be part of the premiere of this movie in Caracas Venezuela. It was almost two months of planning and keeping the secret, but really everything went super well and we had an incredible time, and here I share with you some pictures of that day!
