Hoy les traigo un tema del que siempre he querido hablar en un espacio libre como Hive, siendo una de las sagas que marco mi infancia Star Wars. En está ocasión hablaré de la primera película que me hizo adentrarme en este universo amplio de contenido El Episodio I La Amenaza Fantasma, la primera película con que se estrenó lo trilogía de las precuelas en 1999 y terminando su trama en la sexta película Episodio VI El retorno del Jedi. Además de hablar brevemente de la película contando los puntos que yo considero importantes, les contaré mi experiencia como fan viendo nuevamente la película después de años y si no han visto nada de Star Wars, mi meta es incentivarlos jajaja. Sin más que añadir ¡comencemos!
Today I bring you a topic that I have always wanted to talk about in a free space like Hive, being one of the sagas that marked my childhood Star Wars. This time I will talk about the first film that made me enter into this wide universe of content Episode I The Phantom Menace, the first film with which the trilogy of the prequels was released in 1999 and ending its plot in the sixth film Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Besides talking briefly about the movie telling the points that I consider important, I will tell you my experience as a fan watching the movie again after years and if you have not seen anything of Star Wars, my goal is to encourage you hahaha. Hace mucho tiempo en una galaxia muy muy...lejana
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far, far away
Y así nos recibe la cinta con la mítica frase en donde indica donde se desarrolla la historia, en una galaxia lejana donde todo aparenta transcurrió con normalidad, está Galaxia es gobernada por “La República” un ente de gobierno que se encarga de legislar las leyes políticas de sus planetas miembros y neutrales, con un sistema de gobierno democrático a simple vista. Sin embargo dicha paz a se ve interrumpida en uno de los planetas neutrales por un bloqueo económico en el sistema independiente de Naboo, el bloqueo es gestionado por un sistema de comerciantes llamado “La federación de comercio”.

But everything would turn out the opposite when our protagonists Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) set a trap for them and they are forced to flee to the planet, the following act the blockade begins to send an army of Droids towards the planet Naboo to force the queen Amidala (Natalie Portman) to sign a treaty that benefits economically the federation, beginning this way a planetary invasion.

Nuestros protagonistas consiguen llegar al planeta y rescatan a la reina con tiempo antes que los Droides, comenzando un viaje en el espacio para llegar a la sede de la República en el núcleo de la galaxia, pero se ven nuevamente frustrados ya que su nave sufrió un daño al intentar huir del sistema y se ven obligador aterrizar en un planeta rural llamado Tatooine, lejos dela jurisdicción de la República y dónde las mafias y los sindicatos criminales gobiernan el planeta. En su búsqueda de conseguir repuestos para su nave, se encuentran con un joven llamado Anakin Skyawolker (Jake Lloyd) quién los ayuda y les da hospedaje en el arenoso planeta. Al inmediato Anakin se percata que nuestros protagonistas son Jedis al fijarse bien su cintura donde guardaba su sable de luz, el arma honorable de todo caballero Jedi, y se lo hace saber a Qui-Gon compartiendo su sueño de ser un jedi que trae libertad y paz, esto hace que Qui-Gon se interese en el muchacho ya que además detecta algo inusual en él. Esto lleva a Qui-Gon a hacerle unos exámenes rápido de sangre a Anakin y se da cuenta que su naturaleza y conexión con la Fuerza, el poder que le da a los Jedis sus habilidades y le da forma a todos los seres vivos, Anakin parece tener una gran sensibilidad por encima de todo promedio de cualquier jedi, coincidiendo además con una antigua profecía, de aquel elegido que traerá equilibrio a la fuerza.
Our protagonists manage to reach the planet and rescue the queen in time before the Droids, starting a journey in space to reach the headquarters of the Republic in the core of the galaxy, but are again frustrated as their ship suffered damage while trying to flee the system and are forced to land on a rural planet called Tatooine, far from the jurisdiction of the Republic and where mafias and criminal syndicates rule the planet. Al fin de conseguir un lugar donde vendían los repuestos de la nave, al ser muy costoso no cuentan con suficiente dinero para pagarlos, recurren a la otra manera de obtener algo en el planeta que es “apostando”. Así Qui-Gon apuesta con el dueño de los repuestos que a la vez es el esclavista de Anakin, la apuesta consiste en que en caso de ganar Anakin la carrera obtendrán los repuestos y la libertad del muchacho, ya que estaba convencido de sus intuiciones de que el niño es el elegido de la Fuerza. El único detalle es que las carreras en Tatooine son peligrosas con el riesgo a morir y Anakin solo es un niño de 9 años, sumando a esto que todo se estaba planificando sin el consentimiento de la reina Amidala quién esperaba confiada en su nave recibiendo mensajes transmitiendo como su pueblo muere y sufre por la invasión, sin saber que su suerte dependía de un niño de 9 años que apenas conocen. Contra pronóstico y suerte Anakin resulta ganador consiguiendo así los repuestos y su libertad. Sin embargo para hacer honor al título de la película un atacante como un fantasma aparece en el desierto y ataca a Qui-Gon y Anakin cuando se aproximaban a abordar su nave, en un duelo rápido con sables de luz Qui-Gon conseguí escapar de su agresor a duras penas, poniendo rumba hacia Coruscant planeta capital de la República, pero ahora Qui-Gon lleva una preocupación mayor, el misterios enemigo tiene todas las características de los antiguos enemigos de los Jedis, los Sith.

Against all odds and luck Anakin is the winner and gets the spare parts and his freedom. However to honor the title of the film an attacker as a ghost appears in the desert and attacks Qui-Gon and Anakin as they approached to board his ship, in a quick duel with lightsabers Qui-Gon managed to escape his assailant barely, putting rumba to Coruscant planet capital of the Republic, but now Qui-Gon carries a major concern, the mysterious enemy has all the characteristics of the ancient enemies of the Jedi, the Sith.

Los Jedis se dirigen al alto consejo Jedi, el órgano máximo que lidera toda la orden Jedi compuesto por los maestros Jedis más sabio y poderosos de la época, Qui-Gon se dirige a dar su informe de lo sucedido en su viaje. Mientras tanto la reina Amidala se dirige al Senado Galáctico, el órgano que lidera la República conformado por millones de sistemas leales a la República y es presidido por el supremo Canciller, lamentablemente ambas cosas no tuvieron los resultados esperados. El consejo Jedi no creía que el enemigo que atacó a Qui-Gon fuese un Sith ya que los consideraban extintos desde hace mil años y con respecto Anakin no quieren entrenarlo por considerarlo viejo para su edad y además de percibir un futuro incierto en él, decisión que Qui-Gon rechaza desafiando al consejo. Por el lado de la reina se le otorga la palabra en el senado para denunciar el bloqueo e invasión de la federación de comercio a su planeta y pedir una intervención militar, pero debido a la burocracia que abunda en los senadores y la ineficiente del Canciller, la reina decide regresar a su planeta para liberarlo ella misma. El consejo le da la orden a Qui-Gon y su Padawan Obi-Wan de proteger a la reina a toda costa y averiguar más sobre este supuesto Lor Sith.

The Jedi Council did not believe that the enemy that attacked Qui-Gon was a Sith since they considered them extinct for a thousand years and with respect to Anakin they do not want to train him because they consider him old for his age and also perceive an uncertain future in him, a decision that Qui-Gon rejects defying the council. On the side of the queen, she is given the floor in the senate to denounce the blockade and invasion of the federation of commerce to her planet and ask for a military intervention, but due to the bureaucracy that abounds in the senators and the inefficiency of the Chancellor, the queen decides to return to her planet to free it herself. The council orders Qui-Gon and his Padawan Obi-Wan to protect the queen at all costs and find out more about this supposed Lor Sith.

Una vez llegado al planeta de nuevo, la reina se alía con los nativos primitivos del planeta para librar una batalla en tierra, mientras que sus pilotos se infiltran en el palacio para buscar sus naves y lideran una batalla en el espacio y destruir el bloqueo. Y así fue, con el detalle de que Anakin por accidente queda atrapado en una de esas naves mientras buscaba esconderse, pero gracias a su experiencia como piloto y habilidades latentes en la fuerza consigue sobrevivir y además destruir la nave principal del bloqueo.Mientras tanto la reina y sus protectores Jedis consiguen infiltrarse en el palacio para capturar al líder de la invasión, pero se topan nuevamente con atacante misterio Darth Maul (Ray Park) quien sin pensar activa su sable de luz de doble hoja color rojo seguido de Qui-Gon y Obi Wan comenzando una intensa batalla con sables de luz con la música de fondo compuesta por el maestro Jon William “Duels of the fate”

Al terminar la batalla los Jedis consiguen vencer y la reina logra derrotar la invasión a su planeta, pero con el precio muy alto, Qui-Gon fue abatido por el Sith y Obi-Wan en un ataque de iré y desestra logra matar al Lord Sith a duras penas, además en los últimos momentos de Qui-Gon este le hace prometer a su aprendiz que entrene a Anakin dejando sus últimas palabras “Obi-Wan, entrena al muchacho....él es.. el elegido... Con el habrá equilibrio”.
At the end of the battle the Jedi manage to win and the queen manages to defeat the invasion of their planet, but with a very high price, Qui-Gon was killed by the Sith and Obi-Wan in an attack of I will go and desestra manages to kill the Sith Lord barely, also in the last moments of Qui-Gon this makes him promise his apprentice to train Anakin leaving his last words "Obi-Wan, train the muchacho....él is ... the chosen one .... De verdad como fan de Star Wars desde el 2009 para mí fue una experiencia grandiosa volver está joya de película. Yo soy de los fans que creció y comenzó en esta saga con la trilogía de las precuelas que justo inicia con esta película, siendo para mí volver a vivir de nuevo ese momento de suspenso, alegría, acción y tristeza por el final jajaja. Además en esta ocasión tuve la oportunidad de ver la película en compañía de mi pareja que para mí sorpresa le terminó gustando y ahora necesita saber que pasa en las siguientes dos películas que faltan jajajaja para mí fue totalmente nuevo ya que siempre he visto Star Wars solo, pero fue gracioso presenciar sus reacciones y comentarios a las escenas y evidentemente los dos quisimos llorar al final jajajaja.
Truly, as a Star Wars fan since 2009, it was a great experience for me to return to this gem of a movie. I am one of the fans who grew up and started in this saga with the trilogy of the prequels that just starts with this movie, being for me to live again that moment of suspense, joy, action and sadness for the end hahaha. Also this time I had the opportunity to see the movie in the company of my partner who to my surprise ended up liking it and now needs to know what happens in the next two movies that are missing hahahaha for me it was totally new since I have always seen Star Wars alone, but it was funny to witness their reactions and comments to the scenes and obviously we both wanted to cry at the end hahahaha.
Definitivamente no se puede negar que la trama te sumerge poco a poco en una representación simbólica hacia los conflictos que vemos en el día, injusticias, corrupción, engaños, conflictos políticos y desconfianza, todo que está y permanece en nuestra historia. Por eso siempre diré que Star Wars es educativo y llama a la reflexión.
There is definitely no denying that the plot immerses you little by little in a symbolic representation towards the conflicts we see in the day, injustices, corruption, deceit, political conflicts and mistrust all that is and remains in our history. That is why I will always say that Star Wars is educational and thought provoking.

Al igual que muchos fans de la saga pienso que está es la peor de todas las precuelas, aún así siento que es bastante entretenida y da en el clavo con muchísimas cosas, establece muy bien el tono de esta trilogía y si sabes apreciar el enfoque tan político que tenía resulta muy disfrutable.
La carrera de pods es genial también, aunque no soy fan del Anakin niño.
Agradezco tu opinión 😇 Y siii! Totalmente de acuerdo con el contenido en el canon actual prácticamente está película junto con las otras dos se vuelven un punto clave para entender muchas cosas. Diría que soy el 1% de los fans que Star Wars atrapó con los temas políticos jajaja
