Recuerdo ese día en el que estaba en casa de mi tía Karun con todos mis primos y nos llevaron a todos al cine a ver la película de Disney el Rey León, recuerdo que a cada uno de los primos nos entregaron una bolsa con las cotufas , con eso salimos desde la casa cada quien con su bolsa de cotufa y en el cine se compraron los refrescos , y bueno la inolvidable lloradera cuando se murió Mufasa, yo siempre he sido muy apegada a mi papa , la pantalla inmensa los colores amarillos hermosos de los leones, y la tragedia de un simba tratando de levantar a su padre Mufasa, ahí fue cuando entendí que la muerte existía y que era terrible.

Esta película es una obra maestra de la animación, mucho se ha hablado de que es un plagio de un anime japones llamado kimba , lo cual veo que tiene inspiración , pero seria como decir que el señor de los anillos es un plagio de la opera de Sigfrid, algo en lo que no estoy de acuerdo , estas son unas películas muy originales que marcaron antes y después.

La música de Elthon John lleva la película a otro nivel , es una mezcla tan perfecta , es arte puro , la canción de la intro cuando nace simba es demasiado épica , y hakuna matata transmite una alegría poderosa, en todas las películas de Disney hay buena música pero en esta , estamos un paso más allá.
