¡Hola a todos! Hace poco vi la primera temporada de una serie disponible en Pluto TV y cuyo humor, me encantó desde el primer momento, pues se trata de comedia absurda. Soy fanática de las series de Seth MacFarlane como Family Guy, asà que siempre estoy a la caza de ese tipo de animaciones para adultos que no sólo se basen en el realce del sexo, sino de los temas cotidianos, ensalzados con esas situaciones locas que te harán soltar una carcajada ante lo inesperado.
Hello everyone! I recently saw the first season of a series available on Pluto TV and whose humor I loved from the first moment, since it is an absurd comedy. I'm a fan of Seth MacFarlane's series like Family Guy, so I'm always on the hunt for those kinds of adult animations that aren't just about sex enhancement, but about everyday themes, enhanced with those crazy situations that make you They will make you laugh out loud at the unexpected.
La trama es bastante sencilla: Un trÃo de extraterrestres es enviado a la tierra para evaluar un espécimen humano y escogen precisamente al estereotipo de hombre de mediana edad con una vida bastante corriente. Tenemos a Jeff, un hombre que trabaja en un a tienda de malteadas, amante de los bongos, los videojuegos y con un sentido de la responsabilidad casi inexistente. VivÃa solo hasta que los extraterrestres llegaron a su casa y se quedaron como inquilinos. Al principio demuestra estar molesto con la situación de no sólo convivir con los aliens, sino de descubrir que los mismos le hacen experimentos o evaluaciones secretas sin su consentimiento, pero a medida que avanza el tiempo, descubrimos que les tiene cierto "aprecio" a sus compañeros de casa. A pesar de ser retratado como lo que podrÃa considerarse como un "perdedor", Jeff es un buen sujeto, mucho más que otros personajes de la serie se preocupa por los suyos y en múltiples ocasiones sale de su zona de confort para ayudar a la raza humana.

Entre los aliens tenemos a Sammy, quién es el que suele estar a la cabeza o por lo menos querer imponerse ante el resto. No está muy contento con la misión de estudiar a los humanos, pero hace lo que sea para que la misión sea un éxito, pues desea obtener fama y reconocimiento en su planeta. Pero es precisamente su ambición lo que lo hace bastante mezquino, no importándole incluso someter a sus compañeros a alguno de sus dispositivos galácticos, para su beneficio.

También tenemos a Ted, el más calmado y podrÃa decirse que sensato del grupo de Aliens. De temperamento templado e inteligente, la mayor parte del tiempo actúa como la voz de la razón que inevitablemente nunca es escuchada o es escuchada a medias.
We also have Ted, the calmest and arguably level-headed of the Aliens bunch. Mild-tempered and intelligent, most of the time he acts as the voice of reason that inevitably goes unheard or is only half-heard.
Finalmente tenemos a Jimmy, el más grande pero también el más ignorado del grupo. Suele tener un actitud amigable que no es más que una fachada para ocultar sus sentimientos reprimidos. Es constantemente ridiculizado por Jeff o por Sammy, a pesar que siempre trata de hacer lo mejor por sus "amigos".
Finally we have Jimmy, the biggest but also the most ignored of the group. He usually has a friendly attitude that is nothing more than a facade to hide his repressed feelings. He is constantly ridiculed by either Jeff or Sammy, even though he always tries to do his best for his "friends".
En lo que a mi respecta me pareció bastante divertida, no sólo por el hecho de que me encante la temática del extraterrestre en la tierra, sino por la manera en la que es manejado el humor. La comedia absurda e inesperada en todo momento me mantuvo enganchada y lo mejor de todo: Me hizo reÃr. En cada episodio veremos a Jeff ser sometido a diferentes dolores o penurias a través de algún dispositivo alienÃgena que le promete ser la solución a sus problemas, teniendo que arreglárselas luego para arreglar el caos que siempre conllevan. Me agradó bastante la forma en que son manejados todos los personajes, pues puedes ver a pesar de todo, ese compañerismo entre Jeff y los aliens con los que inevitablemente, acaba teniendo una amistad.
As far as I'm concerned, I found it quite funny, not only because I love the alien on earth theme, but because of the way humor is handled. The absurd and unexpected comedy throughout kept me hooked and best of all: It made me laugh. In each episode we will see Jeff being subjected to different pains or hardships through some alien device that promises to be the solution to his problems, having to manage later to fix the chaos that always entails. I quite liked the way all the characters are handled, because you can see despite everything, that camaraderie between Jeff and the aliens with whom he inevitably ends up having a friendship.

I like the slightly grotesque style of the animation. I don't know many animation productions. This one looks interesting and it's on Pluto Tv, you can watch it for free.
