Today I want to tell you about the movie I just watched. I wanted to share, especially after the unfortunate events that happened at this time.
I would like to share with you Atom Egoyan's Remember review made in 2005. It is about two Jews who set out to avenge their families who lost their lives in Auschwitz.

In the modern age, all the tools we use, the jobs we do, and even the food we eat are changing rapidly. Nevertheless, the being called "human" actually remains the same. It is also doomed to stay the same! George Floyd was a man whom the police pressed to his throat to death while he was detained in the United States. We have seen that this incident is happening, that the discrimination has not ended and, on the contrary, continues at full speed. One side of us is rebelling against those who are, and another side of us continues to remain silent on this situation.
"Remember" The ruthless Nazi fan of the house Zev entered by accident, the police remind us how primitive racism really is.
Anyway, after this part of the article, there is a partial (spoiler) about the Remember movie.
In the movie, we watch the story of Zev and Max, who live in the same nursing home. Zev, who has dementia, and Max, who cannot stand up, survives in a wheelchair. They get along very well with each other because of the things they have experienced in the past. You both have common enemies. This person is a man named Otto Walisch, who killed his family in Auschwitz. The movie progresses a little slowly, but you lock in front of the screen to watch the revenge to be taken excitedly.
Even though the two characters do not come together, you do not care about it thanks to their acting. The protagonist of the movie is an old and slow person. Their old age will upset you a little. When we get older, we realize that we will no longer look young as before, and that a difficult life awaits us.
Since the genocide in Auschwitz Camp is based on reality, you get curious while watching the movie. This topic draws you in. There is a reverse corner final scene, I think this scene will leave an impression on you.
Why is that?
Why does the concept of diversity scare people? Why is someone who is not like him using violence this way? Shouldn't the wars and massacres of the past teach us a lesson? When will we start living in peace and tranquility? Why don't we meet together for honesty and love. What is the purpose of geographies, borders, sizes, families, colors, and most importantly, race where we have no choice?
We will never get the answers to these questions. Still, if you continue our lives with movies, books, songs, and stories that are strong enough to remind us of these feelings and cause us to question and develop, we can find answers.

finaliyle de kendini unutturmayan, hatta o günleri yaşayan insanların ne hissettiğini bir anlığına da olsa bize düşündüren bir filmdi.
