Mi decisión la tuve clarísima al momento que leí la temática de esta semana por nuestro amigo @wiseagent, el tema sobre la acción desenfrenada y alocada mi elección 1917, la cual es una obra maestra en todo el sentido de la palabra, creada por el grandísimo director Sam Mendes, basada en el género Bélico en donde nos narra la historia de una misión de dos soldados en la primera guerra mundial George MacKay como el cabo “William Schofield” Y Dean-Charles Chapman como el cabo “Tom Blake”, la misión consiste en llevar una carta que salvara la vida de más de 1600 hombres de la amenaza alemana ya que esta contiene el aviso de la trampa de las tropas enemigas.

1917 es una locura de sensaciones, este film tiene la peculiaridad de que está grabada en un plano secuencia durante toda la historia y si mi percepción no me falla creo que solo tiene un corte en una escena, esto nos mete dentro de la piel de nuestros protagonistas que emprende un viaje sin retorno y contrarreloj, los escenarios creado son increíbles, el tema de las trincheras me parece excelentemente logrado te mete de lleno a lo visceral y cruda que fue la primera guerra mundial.

Tuve la suerte de verla en el cine el año pasado cuando justamente fue nominada a los Oscar, y vaya que se mereció todas las nominaciones y premios que se llevó, quizás en el apartado de la narrativa falto un poco más de dialogo que nos permitiera encariñarnos con la situación que pasaron nuestros dos protagonistas, aunque en algunos momentos de paz la película los supo llevar de buena manera y no se sintieron para nada forzados, como también el hecho de la ambientación es utilizada a la perfección como recurso, como los cadáveres que se observan están en putrefacción y la película utiliza esos elementos a la perfección para causarnos hasta miedo al espectador por la situación que se vive en un campo de batalla.
I was lucky enough to see her in the movies last year when she was just nominated for the Oscars, and boy, she deserved all the nominations and awards that she took, perhaps in the narrative section she lacked a little more dialogue that would allow us to become attached with the situation that our two protagonists went through, although in some moments of peace the film knew how to take them in a good way and they did not feel forced at all, as well as the fact that the setting is used to perfection as a resource, such as the corpses that They are seen to be rotten and the film uses these elements to perfection to cause us to even fear the viewer due to the situation that exists on a battlefield.

Al salir de la sala tuve que verla otra vez, tal fue mi grado de fascinación que se volvió mi segunda mejor película del género, la primera “El Rescate Del Soldado Ryan”, el tema técnico es algo que por lo menos en mi caso es primera vez que lo experimento, existe una escena en particular que quede boquiabierto y fue la escena de la huida nocturna como he querido nombrar, nuestro protagonista escapa de una serie de edificios en ruinas que estaban a custodia de algunas tropas alemanas, nuestro héroe es observado por uno, y sin armas comienza la persecución en un espectáculo audiovisual increíble con destrucción y explosiones, en donde las luces juegan un papel importante para que nosotros como espectador sintamos la desesperación vivida por el protagonista, lo que me deja sin palabras y digna de una de las mejores películas técnicamente hablando que he visto en mi vida.

Recomiendo muchísimo esta película como una experiencia audiovisual, si es posible en un televisor bastante grande y con el sonido a tope para disfrutar de lleno todo lo que nos ofrece este film, esto es todo por mi parte mi calificacion para 1917 es de claro 10/10
