Años después, todo saldría a la luz, desafortunadamente por un suceso trágico, donde casi pierde la vida y hasta el momento de hoy, todavía se puede considerar que ha sido la mayor victoria de su carrera, logro sobrevivir a un atentado que pudo ser mortal.

Este hombre, el cual menciono, paso a ser una pieza de felicidad y dolor en la vida de Christy Martin. Hay personas que no quisieras tener en tu vida, Jim Martin puede ser una de ellas.
Christy con gran convicción, se mantuvo entrenando fuerte para mejorar en todas las habilidades, que se requiere para ser una gran boxeadora y poco a poco fue consiguiendo victorias. Vemos imágenes de los combates, Christy Martin poseía una gran pegada, buenos movimientos del tronco y tenía absoluta confianza para pelear. Christy Martin, de cobrar cientos de dólares, comenzaría a ganar mucho dinero, llegando a tener una vida de lujos y muchos excesos. Se casó en su etapa como boxeadora, quizás la peor decisión de su vida, pero ella no sabía lo que pasaría junto a su "querido" esposo. Gloria en el ring y sufrimiento en casa.
Estuvo viviendo junto a un psicópata, hombre muy machista y persona que la estaba destruyendo, física y mentalmente. Termino cayendo en las drogas, por supuesto el rendimiento bajo, llego una derrota importante en la carrera y se venía en picada todo su ser. Sentía atracción por las mujeres, pero no podía huir de su relación, sinceramente estaba atrapada en un mundo de infelicidad. Es increíble todo lo que resistió esta mujer, nunca se dio por vencida, incluso cuando estuvo tirada en el suelo, habiendo recibido un disparo y múltiples puñaladas. En la producción nos encontramos con sus padres, también aparece la actual pareja, quien fue boxeadora y rival de Christy Martin en una pelea. Y desde la prisión, vemos al malo de la película, la persona que casi acaba con la vida de Chisty Martin, narrando sus horribles pensamientos y dejando declaraciones un poco lamentables.
Es importante escoger bien a tu compañero de vida, pues no sabes lo fundamental que son en tu persona, Christy Martin no debió recibir tanto sufrimiento, fue una mujer que de la nada, logro alcanzar objetivos que parecían imposibles y que al final no recibió un apoyo, cuando más lo necesitaba. Me deja impresionado algunas actitudes de la madre, llego a dejarla sola en ciertos momentos, incluso no intuyo lo que podía pasarle, a pesar de que ella le comentaba lo mal que estaba viviendo y, sin embargo, la dejaron sola en el abismo.
Podemos observar mucha gente famosa, teniendo una vida gloriosa, pero no sabemos la lucha interna que tienen y exactamente eso pasaba con Christy Martin. The documentary has a duration of 1 hour and 17 minutes, totally entertaining, from the beginning it hooks you into the story and the narrative is excellent. 100% recommended!

I've only seen women's boxing in movies, and I don't know much about the history of the sport in the women's division. The story of this woman seems very interesting, even for me who is a fan of the sport, but what you say made me want to see it.
I haven't seen much women's boxing either, but Christy's story is more than interesting, everything she lived through was crazy and she has been the great representative of women's boxing.

Me gustan muchos los deportes como el boxeo y las artes marciales mixtas, la mayoría de mis sábado por la noche son de ver la UFC, por lo que me llama mucho la atención esta producción, la veré cuando tenga tiempo.
Sin duda alguna las mujeres hemos tenido que abrirnos camino en muchos aspectos, el deporte es uno de ellos, un mundo considerado por muchos sólo para hombres, sobre todo los de contacto.
