I had the opportunity to see the movie "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby" (2014) and I honestly liked it a lot. Its plot is quite real. No action, no comedy but drama and romance in a deep and interesting sense.

Se nota que él la ama y le tiene paciencia. Un día se le ocurre que ella puede que esté viviendo con sus padres y llega allá. Ella no estaba pero su familia nota que él tambien la ama. Él desea saber cómo se encuentra ella.
Eleanor en su vida diaria a veces extraña a su esposo, en una oportunidad lo busca donde él trabaja y le pide que se vayan, que se pierdan manejando sin rumbo. Esta fué una gran escena. Logran reir juntos de nuevo. Fueron muy honestos entre sí.
Lo cierto es que no era momento aún para unirse. Más adelante tienen una escena muy conmovedora, un momento tan íntimo, que logran hablar sobre su hijo. Lloran y finalmente hacen el amor, pero ella decide irse del país para terminar su tesis. Sus vidas se separan nuevamente porque ella sentía que aún no estaba preparada para superar la tragedia que les sucedió pero si enfatiza que tuvieron algo maravilloso.
La película transcurre alrededor de otras situaciones como el sentimiento frustrante del padre de Eleanor por no poder ayudarla, el resentimiento de Connor hacia su padre y el deseo de este último en reconciliar la relación padre-hijo. Por otro lado, también resalta el valor de la amistad, entre el personaje de una Profesora y Eleanor quienes logran conectar de manera especial.
El final me desconcertó. La pelicula culmina que él va caminando por una plaza, él se detiene como intuyendo que ella vendrá y luego sigue. Al minuto ella llega a la plaza y camina tras él pero no se ve que lo alcance.
En ese sentido, el final quedó abierto; maneja varias interpretaciones. Podemos pensar que más adelante lo alcanzó y por fin se unirían de nuevo, ó podemos interpretar que el amor existirá siempre entre ellos pero seguirá esa distancia que los separa; lo cierto es que Eleanor regresó y eso abre una nueva etapa en su vida.
Yo quisiera pensar que Eleanor regresó al país y a esa localidad, porque ahora se siente preparada para seguir la relación.

Una buena reseña interpretativa de un filme en verdad muy sugerente (Me gustó cuando lo vi.), que aborda una perspectiva problematizadora de la relación amorosa. Quizás convenga detenerse un poco en las actuaciones y algún aspecto técnico de la realización para tener un texto más completo. Saludos, @xandra79.
